I had an fantastic experience getting dip nails done by Tien at Cosmo Nail Salon. She is extremely talented and did an amazing job on my nails. The salon itself is very clean, relaxing and has great customer service. Tien took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and helped me pick out the perfect dip powder colors. She then meticulously applied each layer, shaping and filing my nails into a beautiful almond shape. I am so impressed by how natural yet glamorous my nails look! The dip process took a bit longer than a regular manicure but it was well worth it for long-lasting nails that look like gel polish. Tien's attention to detail is unmatched. My cuticles and nails look healthy and the dip application is completely smooth without any lumps or bumps. I highly recommend requesting Tien if you want an amazing dip manicure that will last for 3 weeks without chipping or cracking. She really takes pride in her work and it shows through the results. Per many previous reviews, I've had some not so favorable experiences at cosmo nails, but my last two appointments seem to have restored some trust in this salon. Ben gave me a great manicure about three weeks ago and unfortunately wasn't available this week, so Tran took my appointment request. Like numerous salons in the area, a positive experience lies in the technician and less about the salon itself. If your not sure on what you need but you have an idea of what your end results should look like, Makes sure your communicate that effectively before your appointment begins. Not every technician at this salon is skilled and there are numerous customers serviced daily so they get pretty busy. If you are visiting for the first time, it may require a few visits with trial and era to identify the best technician for you. So beware. The water for the pedicure bowls rarely gets nice and warm, so if that's your preference, beware. Inquire on exact pricing for all details of your service... as other reviewers have mentioned addtl charges for this and that are not clearly disclosed.... ie clipping cuticles vs just pushing them back. I will continue to patronize this salon and give them a few more opportunities before labeling them as "consistent", but I wanted to provide feedback on my recent positive experience to balance previous visits which have not been so favorable. Over communicate, inquire on pricing and once you identify a technician that works for you, stick with that person. This is not a salon where "anyone" will suffice. read more

My daughters introduced me to Cosmo. I've been several times for pedicures. On this visit I decided I wanted my nails done too. It's been awhile so I ask for a price list. The lady handed me a price list from the stack of pamphlets sitting on the counter. When it was time to checkout none of the prices matched the charges. I brought this to her attention and she said the list she gave me was old. She refused to honor the prices and said there was no manager or anyone else who would change the prices. Helen did a great job on my nails. I loved the Christmas design. Allen got me the worse pedicure EVER. Victoria gave my husband the BEST pedicure. My daughter and I went for a manicure. It was a special day and told the manicurist it was her first time. My daughter was excited and I watched her face slowly fall because the manicurist was rude and blunt to her. She did great on the design work however. The front desk lady was nice at first but I didn't know where the gel colors were and she seemed put back she had to show us. Also disappointed in cleanliness. The counter where you lay your hands was dirty. It only takes a moment to wipe these things down. The buffers and files were not single use as they should be. My daughter was happy with her nails so thumbs up to that. Will go elsewhere when we do this again. I cancelled the planned pedicures because I did not think cleanliness was top-notch. read more

Had 3 nail techs work on my simple nails, took 3 hours to complete. Cost 100 and the nails came off in less then two weeks, also destroyed my nails to the point where my nails tore and all you can see is the nail beds to the point where i cannot get my nails done until they grow completely out and heal. The salon itself is very nice and the nail techs are nice but I will never be going again considering the price, for the poor work that was done. read more

I use to love cosmo nails and would honestly recommend them to most of my friends. Now i wouldn't. Past two times Ive gone they have been out of dip colors and are too lazy to redo the color books. Their pricing is alarming!!! They charge different things each time i go. Once $12 for extra length but still charge the $5 for nail tip? Sometimes they never charge or sometimes they only charge 5. Super bummed... wanted to really like this place as it was my first time there after moving and not wanting to travel back to my old nail place 45 min away... my gel on acrylic did not even last 10 days!! Both thumbs peeled... never had this happened before... !!ridiculous...! I paid over $110 for nails and pedicure. $143 after tips... The initial experience was good but my nails look terrible after 10 days...whereas I could go 3 weeks before I would need to get done. I think their gel is cheap and old and would not go back here... Visited here with my mom to treat her and myself with pedicures and manicures. I get my nails done regularly (for over 20 years) so I know all of the norms at nail salons... Our experience was good until the pedicure nail tech INSISTED repeatedly to my mom that she get gel on her toes. After my mom declined about 3 times.... I finally intervened and told the tech, "she said no". The tech did it again once more and my mom and I were uncomfortable and not happy at that point. I understand that these extra things are usually offered and recommend but when a customer declines or tells you exactly what they want it's unprofessional and rude to keep trying to sell them something. It's aggressive and off putting. I hope their shop manager sees this and realizes how it can negatively affect the customers experience. Nails came out great otherwise. read more

Came in with my girlfriend to get a basic manicure for fun while she was getting her nails all done-up. By the way-- they do incredibly perfect, hand-painted nail designs. Super intricate and they really care. Anyways, typically at other nail salons, they assume since I'm just a dude getting the basic manicure, that I'm not going to care how my nails come out. Here, I was asked what shape I wanted (literally something I've never been asked because I just get them trimmed), and she made sure I got the full treatment for even the cheapest package! Victoria was kind, friendly, and funny. She made sure even though I was just tagging along getting one the cheap manicure, that I was treated just the same. This is good business. This is what'll bring me and other customers back. Krystal did my girlfriend's nails and KILLED it- see photo. Again, literally perfection looks like a sticker. I left this salon crying... I have always struggled with finding good nail salons and I went here one time previously to get acrylic French tips. It was honestly a great job the first time...so I went back today for a fill. They did not fill it with the same color, when they ensured me it was the correct pink. My fill was completely ruined. And don't get me started on the pedicure! I had asked for the $52 tea tree pedicure with 2 acrylic toes. I went to pay and they charged me an additional $16 for 2 acrylic toes (which looked uneven and terrible) & $20 for gel polish. I did not ask for gel polish. I have never gotten gel polish before, nor did I want it. I asked for regular white polish. I left spending $88 for a crappy pedicure and $40 for a mismatched fill. I voiced my concerns and was told to try dip powder next time. Not happy about this at all! read more

I booked a nexgen manicure for my upcoming wedding. When I booked the appointment I specifically said I want a full manicure and that I'd be pampering myself for my wedding. Apparently they understood it to mean that I only wanted a Nexgen set. After he completed the nexgen nails, I asked about the rest of the manicure (didn't touch my cuticles, no massage/lotion, etc) they said they don't do that for nexgen. I said I scheduled my appointment for a spa manicure and they said they could add cuticle trim for $7. Didn't offer a full manicure service at all. Then he rushed through trimming my cuticles and left me with several ragged edges. They charged $7 for cuticle trim and $5 for "added length" so I ended up paying $60+ and they didn't even bother to clean underneath my nails from the dip powder. I was grossly disappointed with this experience and had to go to a different salon to get them corrected for my wedding day. Will not be returning to this location. read more

I've been getting my nails done for 30+ years. Some nail techs are definitely better and more experienced than others. Amazing experience!! Husband and I had a child free weekend and decided to begin it with a relaxing pedicure. I requested a private room so we could have some quiet. They offered us drinks immediately and made sure to keep them full. Handed us the remote told us to pick a movie. The pedicure was amazing! I had Victoria and she was funny and lovely to talk to but also let me relax and gave me the best leg/foot rub my husband had Moon.
