NEW MANAGEMENT. I have been here previously and loved my results, however, I didn't know there was new owners my most recent visit... It was ve unprofessional. The manager forgot about my nail appointment, and tried to blame it on us. We booked it days in advance, well my boyfriend did trying to surprise me for valentines, and when we walked in the day of our apt, the manager was the only one there. She told us that we booked a "polish change" when in reality, she told my boyfriend on the phone that I could just tell her what I want there, because he didn't know what I wanted. It was supposed to be a surprise. There was another lady that was there a couple minutes before us, so she had to wait for us to finish. The lady who did my nails (the manager) literally told her "They have an appointment and I forgot about it". I wanted a full set, and I didn't know if it was called gel or acrylic because I don't really get my nails done (I mentioned this to her and showed pictures). She rushed through my manicure and only gave me gel, made fun of how short my nails were, and how "small" my nails were. She said things like "don't worry they'll grow! Ha ha!" Mind you I am not a regular, so this is not my friend! I am already pissed because she forgot about my apt, and proceeded to not give me what I asked for. At the end I was crying because I told her it wasn't what I wanted, and she just kept saying we booked for a polish change, she had another customer waiting (like that was my fault), that a full set would've taken an hour, and that she only had us down for 30min polish change. Also, why would I walk into the nail salon with short nails wanting to get them painted lol, I can do that at home. I knew she was just making excuses. My boyfriend doesn't even know what a polish change is!! I don't even know what that is!? When I went back the next day to get them fixed, she still kept saying it was my boyfriend's fault, even though she told him on the phone we could tell her what we wanted there. He didn't just make that up lol. It was obviously a mistake on her, but she still fixed my nails for 20, and I tipped her 20 because I'm not a horrible person! read more

Tried any location? I was around at the time. The nail salon Tech did not listen to anything. I asked for especially the shape and size of my nails. Do not even match the color she made me bleed on 2 fingers as well and charged me for reshaping them when I showed her At least 4 times a photo specifically on how I wanted my nails (photo in this post) not done there. I think the pictures should tell more than enough about this salon... I asked if this design was going to be possible and they agreed saying it was doable. Least to say, it was not as seen in the "what I wanted vs. what I got" pictures. Granted, my friend and I did walk in; however, I would have appreciated transparency that this was out of this skill level. Side note, the technician doing my nails even talked smack in Vietnamese about me saying that I was nagging about my nails (after I attempted to communicate he wasn't conducting the design accurately whatsoever) not knowing I actually understand the language... When in on Mother's Day with my daughter (9) she got dipping powder and some Hearts on them they charge me 80 dollars... not only that I show them a photo of what I wanted and they gave me this disgusting weird shape on my nails I explain I didn't like them and to fix them the guy gave me attitude and told me someone else will fix it. I told the lady look at what I asked and look what he did. She was so rude they both were so rude. I told them to remove them. Will never come back or recommend this place. So I was in need for a change, and looked up someone more local. I found them on social media and really liked the work I saw. I called for an appointment, seeing as they accept walk ins, so I called to make sure. I was with Mimi. I saw that other reviews via Yelp said she was great and "could do anything on Pinterest." So I took in my nude fall ombré nail photo. I was excited. Being unsure of the nail shape usually I ask them professionally to let me know. I went with square, but originally thought it was "coffin" but didn't want it too narrow& pointy. Unfortunately upon apply the tips they were snipped and were very pointy. It was just not me. I did not want to let her get too far into it without me liking the shape. So I just went with square. She wasn't very happy with me after that... For the color selection of what I wanted, and what I got was not the same, but a variation I would say. She did the dip, which I'm not sure if this was the best route for what I wanted, But I am not unhappy with what I got, I think I would have wanted something more obvious of a color distinction, more similar to the picture I brought in. But still they are nice looking! The shape and length is nice, and the smoothness of the nail looks good! No chiclet nails here. As for the experience, it was very quiet/mellow. Compared to other salons I've been to and paid the same, if not more, ya know the bells&whistle perks, there was none of that with my services or I wasn't offered. And as far as the manicure goes, there really wasn't one with the application of a full set. I wish there was to enhance the service experience! read more

With the Texas heat and sandals...you gotta keep it clean. Even though I'm a guy, I like to be pampered too. It took me a while, but I learned many years ago, why women go to nail saloons. Besides to look pretty, you get to sit in a massage chair and get free alcoholic drinks! Fast forward to now. I was recommended to this place by my little sis and wanted a to go to without feeling weird (straight male) and become a regular since my last place is to far to travel since moving to Addison. My mom and sis live in Carrollton, so this place wasn't too far off. I came in for a basic pedicure (after waiting for LONG time). The sign says walk-ins welcome, but damn. I waited a good 30-45mins. The pedicure overall was ok. Although when she was doing my cuticles, she dug too much and made me bleed on my big toe. I've had pedicures done before and that has never happened. On top of it she didn't clip my nails all the way. Maybe they don't service a lot of guys, I dunno, but with my experience, I won't be revisiting. read more

I give it 3 stars because a friend was with me, and she wanted to go with a different color on her toenails. Instead of removing the color, the guy painted on top of the color, who does that??? Overall experience was average, I expected the foot massage to be better when I upgraded to the deluxe package. The service was good. Nail Techs were polite and I believe I got the best foot massage ever!!. However the nail polish would not dry! I mean I was under the drying light for at least 20 mins drove 15 minutes home and was like surely this is dry now? Nope! Touched my big toe and smudged the nail polish right off! We were visiting from out of town and we wanted to get our nails done so we found Frenchy's nails and were not pleased. We started by looking for a place with four stars which this salon has, but now I don't understand why. Upon entering there was a very distasteful smell that almost caused us to walk out and find another location. The people were relatively nice, but after we left, I found my nails were crooked, and the nail polish was bubbling and there was nail polish on my hand. I had Tristan do my pedicure. After said and done the color was lacking something so I had her paint a flower on the big toe. It looks wonderful. You never can go wrong with flowers. the worst experience at a nail salon. they were trying to convince me not to get certain colors and the lady made me bleed. I had to ask her to do more coats of my neon polish. She looked annoyed too. The nails are unfinished with missing edges and uneven nail lengths. They definitely overcharged me too. I went back in after 5 min asking him to redo my pinky because it was HORRIBLE. He made it 10x worse! He said I cannot do it tom I have to do it now. Needless to say, I won't be coming back here. But I will go back in Tommorow and ask them go redo 3 of my nails. I refuse to pay 55+tip. Not impressed at all. I told them I wanted ombre. But not with the colors I had already. I wanted a florescent orange & white ombre. How can you charge me for ombre when you used the ombre I already had previously. Only the orange was added & it wasn't even blended & ombred put well. She didn't even file & clean around the cuticle. The pedi was okay. I'll have to go back out to Dallas or Grand Prairie. I've never had to pay extra for ombre or coffin shaped. If one has to pay extra for a shape other than square than the shape BETTER be ridiculously awesome & EVERY nail should be identical!!! I will NOT be back. Update 7/14/18 The manager reached out to me to fix my nails. It was a very generous effort. Unfortunately due to my hectic schedule & a family emergency I was unable to return to have my nails redone. For that gesture I'll give 2 more stars.. but for the customer service. read more

I have literally never had a worse experience. For starters there was only two employees so my five friends and I had to wait three hours for all of us to get done. I asked for basic acrylics with a few different colors. My nails were cut way shorter than I asked and then filed almost down to the tip of my finger. The gel top coat is uneven and streaky. The nails themselves are lumpy. My cuticles were ground with the nail drill and when I winced and said it hurt, the nail tech rolled their eyes. My friend got dip and was treated with such a bad attitude that the semi okay nails seem like trash. The nail tech snapped at her every time she asked for what she really wanted. My other friend wanted some nail art (white flames) and was left with a streaky mess on her nails, she also got her cuticles drilled. If I could give no stars I would. read more

NEW MANAGMENT The staff was so helpful, and very accommodating to me and my daughter. They gave us a beverage, and made us feel very relaxed. My nails look amazing and the nail technician were very sanitary, with my manicure and pedicure. My nail tech assisted me in choosing the perfect color for my dipping powder and did a phenomenal job. Frenchy's is under new ownership and is BETTER than ever! I couldn't be happier with my nails! I went to Frenchy's Nails yesterday 4/23 for a fill and my nails looked great. The nail tech asked me exactly what I wanted and didn't pressure me to get something I did not want. I showed her a photo of the nails I wanted and she nailed it! She asked me if I liked what was on the T.V. and even asked me if the music that was playing was okay! She just wanted me to relax and be happy with my experience at their business. I was greeted the moment I walked in and was asked if I wanted or needed anything to drink. I am so pleased with the service I received. I was VERY hesitant to get my nails done because there were so many horrible reviews but it was completely different from the reviews because there are NEW OWNERS that are so nice and care about what the customers want. The prices are total different from the other reviews too they are a lot more reasonable.
