I brought my daughter to Cosmo Nail Salon for her first real manicure/pedicure experience, and we had an absolutely wonderful time thanks to Taylor! Taylor was incredibly patient, gentle, and engaging with my daughter the entire appointment. She took the time to explain each step in a fun way, asked about her favorite colors, and made sure she was comfortable--no rushing, no discomfort. The salon itself is clean, bright, and welcoming, with a nice vibe that didn't feel overwhelming. Taylor did a beautiful job on the nails--perfect shape, smooth application, and cute designs that my daughter is still showing off days later. They held up really well too! If you're looking for a nail tech who's great with kids (or just someone skilled and kind in general), Taylor at Cosmo Nail Salon is the one to book. For a $85 pedicure and a $15 up charge for gel I'd think I'd leave without dead skin still on my feet... I don't feel like I'm asking for too much.. My nail design was quoted at an additional $60 dollars so I simplified to the same design did the same thing on 6 nails. The pricing is expensive but I was expecting it to be good. The design was to look like a shell but the 3D lines clear lines ran together and the nail tech cured it and was happy with the way it looks... I'm not sure I paid an additional $30 for a really poorly executed design. I'm overall just super unhappy with the look and my experience. I was pressured into up charges for colors and designs which I finally spoke up for myself and changed but I'm super unhappy with what was to be celebration nails.. they just do not look good- and now I'm fixing my own feet which was the whole reason I went for a pedicure. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon. I paid a high price for my nails, which I didn't mind because when you pay that much, you expect quality work and good customer service. Unfortunately, two of my nails popped off the very next day, which should never happen after a professional service. When I called to have it fixed, I was met with attitude and no willingness to help. I even spoke to the manager, and he refused to fix the issue and was also rude. On top of that, the staff made me feel very uncomfortable. It felt like they were talking negatively while working on my nails, which is very unprofessional. I came in expecting a clean, beautiful set that would last at least a few weeks, but it didn't even last a day. It was also very expensive, which makes the experience even more frustrating. For those prices, you should receive both quality work and respectful customer service--unfortunately, this place offers neither. There were three of us, and we all left disappointed. I would not recommend this salon to anyone looking for good service or long-lasting nails. read more

I hate to leave a negative review, but I gave this place multiple chances to make things right. I paid around $200, which is already very overpriced for what I received. My toes were just regular polish (not gel), yet I was charged almost double what is normal, with no clear explanation. The quality did not match the price at all. The nails were uneven, the finish was not clean, and within a short time they started coming off. I also asked for a natural color on both my hands and toes, but they came out completely different my toes turned pink while my hands were a different shade. I was not the only unhappy customer there were three of us together, and all three of us had issues. One of my friends had three nails come off, and instead of properly fixing them, she was told to keep them and come back during the weekday. Expecting someone to go to work with missing nails is completely unprofessional. In another case, when a nail came off, the front desk staff simply put glue on it and said "this is normal, it's okay." That is not a proper or hygienic fix. I called multiple times and gave them many chances to fix the issue. I even said if they don't want to redo it, they can just refund my money but they refused. When I contacted the salon, I was told to come only during weekday working hours, which is not possible for me. When I called again, I was told I would have to pay again. Another staff member simply said, "it is what it is." Charging premium prices should come with premium quality and service neither was provided. Very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this place. read more

I just wanted a quick manicure for the weekend and my regular place was booked, so I went online and found this place. I hadn't been here before, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Hannah was my technician and she gave me (honestly) the best manicure I've had in years. Their salon is really nice and clean which is important to me, but the best part is their pricing, a big bang for your buck. This is my new spot. read more

The people were very friendly, however I have never gotten a pedicure for $107 dollars without tip and it look this bad, no attention to detail at all unfortunately! My toes were chipped , gel polish cured all over my skin, and I was cut with the nail file, very disappointed with the service. read more

Do yourself a favor and check out this nail salon! I highly recommend Cosmo as a cute and reliable nail option. For starters, the owner is absolutely professional and friendly, creating a great vibe inside. I came out obsessed with my valentine edition nails. I prefer gel and am in the process of growing out my nails but after Bridget finished my nails look amazing. Plus they do a fabulous job with acrylics like my friend got. I did not expect to be dissatisfied, given the amount of great reviews & the location. The nail tech cut 4 of my nail cuticles & made me bleed, when i mentioned it to her she quickly lied and said that I already had those. She was very quick to blame me & afterwards her demeanor for the rest of the service was poor & not gentle. She also started shaping my nails and assumed I wanted whatever she had in mind rather than asking. Disappointed & I will not be returning, there are plenty of other nail salons that host happy, gentle nail techs that are more client & service caring ! read more

I am so disappointed in this place. It used to be my go-to nail spot! The last time I went, they botched my nails big time, and kept me THREE & A HALF HOURS trying to fix them ?? Needless to say I swore off the place for a while... but tonight I have an important birthday dinner to go to, and really needed a last minute fill... so I decided to give them another try. I'll give them two stars for taking me on short notice and doing the job (relatively) quickly (an hour and fifteen), but they botched me again!! I mean come on y'all... even the woman next to me was disappointed in her nails as well and was on the verge of tears. I used to recommend everyone come to this place, but unfortunately this will be my last hoo-rah. I am sitting in the parking lot fresh out of the salon baffled that for some reason I paid $70 for this. (See photos). I'm sad to see this happen to them. This is my all time favorite nail salon! The staff are professional and friendly but they are especially excellent in the services they provide with the technicians all having multiple years in the business. Always a clean salon and a warm atmosphere the salon works to perfection due to Kelly at the front desk. She always greets you by name, comes around to be sure all is good, prioritizes the customer comfort and satisfaction. This is rare in nail salons where you are not felt to be valued but thanks to Kelly I always feel welcomed and appreciated. Their pricing is fair and services are exceptional. Amazing, highly professional salon. Stumbled across this place by accident and now I won't go anywhere else. I drive all the way out from Irvine to get pedicures and manicures here. The staff is always so welcoming and solicitous, and they do excellent, careful work. The salon itself is impeccably clean and nicely designed. What really sets this place apart is the attention to customer satisfaction. They are always willing to make room for me even on a walk in basis and always check with me repeatedly to make sure I am happy with the services. No hard upsells, just graciousness.
