Kitty was great! She did a beautiful almond shaped, thin French tip just like I wanted. I was worried my nails were too short. Love it! One thing to note is that they apply the builder gel just like regular gel polish, instead of building the shape of your nail with an apex like some places do. So next time I think I would just do regular gel.
My go-to place! Plain and simple. All the nail technicians are great and pay attention to detail. I don't think I've gone anywhere else for 1.5 years!
Very attentive, but so disappointed at their customer service. I was looking for a fast place nearby where walk-ins were welcome. Saw the reviews and stars for this place, called and they were available to do my mani and pedi right away! Older Anne did a great job with my simple mani. I wasn't sure exactly what shade of polish I wanted. Not only did she bring me their most popular 3, but tried them on me. That was very cool of her to do. Would love to see her again! Younger Anne did my pedi. She's very gentile. Wish I could give them 5 stars for the nice service they provided, but I give them 2 because *customer service* is okay until you get to the register... I didn't bring a purse with me. All I had was my phone and a credit card. I wasn't aware they only take cash for tips. I asked younger Anne to add tip to my card, since I had no purse/ no cash. Younger Anne insisted and asked if I had Venmo. I understand her situation, but WOW! Really? After saying something meant for me not to understand in their language to one another, she accepted my tip and said, "just this time". Ok, thanks! The place is very small. On my way out I thanked them all with a smile. Do you think any of them cared to look at me? ********** Short version: Ask for older Anne and BRING CASH for tips. Enjoy!
I've been referred to this nail salon by my friend. My nails have been growing out so quickly despite where I've gone. Kitty told me the way she was going to push my cuticles back. She delivered what she had promised. From getting my nails done every 2 weeks, she was able to let me push it to 3-3.5 weeks - without looking horrendous. You truly pay for what you get. I came back in another time and got my nails done. Unfortunately I didn't love the way it turned out. HOWEVER, Stephany KILLED IT! I'm so happy with their customer service and know who I'll be going to from now. Truly so so so happy. Thanks ladies.
FIRST TIMER: Price point doesn't match the quality/service. Yes the girls were very nice but when I go in knowing the gel manicure will be $40 I have higher expectations. Nails uneven, gel glob in the corners. On top of that they were having issues with their schedules and having a full conversation over my foot looking at the phone and resting a post it on my leg....I'm not a table lol I asked for a design and was told they couldn't do it...asked for stickers and they couldn't find them... they said they'd keep looking but I just wanted to leave by then. I was disappointed and don't think I'll be returning.
I normally don't write reviews. But this place deserves one, it's THAT good! I am new to the area and happened to come across this place so decided to try it out. They did such an amazing job on the shape, color and did exactly what I asked for. Ask for Spring, she did wonderful and is so sweet. Overall, super happy with this place and definitely will be coming back!
Love this place. So happy with my nails and pedicure. Everyone is very friendly and Michelle asked a lot of questions to make sure my nails were just how I wanted them.
After my previous experience, Stephany reached out and offered to redo my nails. The gel looks great, it has not chipped or peeled and I've gotten compliments on the color and the overall quality of the work. Also I forgot to mention earlier, I also got a pedicure the first time I went in and that went great.
Pretty disappointed about the service we received here over the weekend. Corona Del Mar has a ton of nail salons and options, so I'd urge you to check out a different salons before coming here. I brought my boyfriend in for a manicure/pedicure because the man needed some TLC. I typically treat myself once a month to a pedicure but my normal salon was closed for the day so we settled in Nail & Beauty Bar. We called ahead to check availability and they told us they could get us in 30 minutes after the time of our call. Upon arrival they weren't ready for us and made us wait another 20 minutes outside along PCH. Not a problem being outside, but we would've rather show up at a time they were ready for us. We we sat our treatment went fast and I mean warp speed fast. Both our manicures and pedicures were done within 20 minutes of sitting down. That includes waiting for the spa chair to fill with water. There was little to no massage, the chairs were dirty, music was cranking so loud it was hard to relax, and we felt rushed along by the technicians. I left feeling upset for the amount of money spent and the lack of service and hygiene. With many other salon options in Corona Del Mar I know I'll be able to feel satisfied elsewhere. Disappointing and a waste of money.
By far the best nail salon experience! I've been here twice. My First visit, I had some girlfriends in town from the east coast and we were prepping for Stagecoach. I called to make us an appointment first thing in the morning when they opened. They were great at confirming my appointment And confirming all of the services we were doing. As soon as we got there, all the ladies that worked there were ON IT. 2 ladies on each of the 3 of us for manis and pedis. And they played country music for us! I did gel and they lasted so long and didn't chip or peel AT ALL. They did a phenomenal job! And the stone design they did on my friends nails was perfection! My second visit was great as well. My gel has lasted 1 month!!! No joke. And still looks perfect.
CDM Nail Bar is so much more than just your average walk in nail place. The gals are so much fun and are so, so talented (pic for reference). This gel lasted so much longer than I'm used to and it stayed cute the entire time. A MUST visit!
So I was in town visiting with my boyfriend, and I really wanted to get a pedicure. I saw this place and I got super excited because there was no wait so I sat down and told them I wanted a Mani pedi. Overall it was a really clean place but I was really disappointed with the service and my pedicure. She didn't put a toenail separator in between my toes so my pinky nail polish came off right away, and there was nail polish on my skin and uneven. They offered the lady who sat next to me water but never offer me water once. They didn't even mention the yelp check in with champagne iMy boyfriend came in halfway through to say hi and they were really rude to him as well. Overall I would not recommend this place if you're visiting.

I'm telling you, Anna does not miss! Every single time, my nails are flawless. I wasn't able to come for SEVEN weeks & my gel didn't even lift (as a hairstylist, every other gel mani lifts within 2-3 days & peoples hair gets stuck under my nail)! read more

My cousin referred me to this spot because I was having a hard time finding a nail salon that could do gel that would last longer than a week. Wherever I went, it would lift in about 10 days. And I couldn't find anyone that could do marble gel either. So I came here late on a Friday evening, desperate for a mani/pedi and Stephany ended up staying past opening hours so that she could do my gel and my marble nails. 1) pedi by Kitty was awesome! She fixed my toe pain, said I had too much cuticle skin and cut everything down perfectly 2) they do this salt scrub thing that has menthol? Not sure what's in it but it feels pretty darn good. 3) mani was literally perfect and sooooo fast. 4) I had a broken index finger nail and was going to resign to just have one nub for a finger ); but Stephany fixed it with a hard gel! I had no idea such a thing existed but I guess it's not the same as an acrylic nail. But after she did it, it looked so real, you can't even tell I had anything broken. 5) paint and marble were freaking amazing!!! I'm so obsessed. I'm going to bring all of my girlfriends here. 6) I got served champagne! Omg not even kidding you, best service ever. I live in Huntington Beach and I was on my way home from work so I stopped by but this nail salon is totally worth driving to. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Highly recommended! read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I am there every 2 weeks getting my fills with Stephany and my gel pedicure with Tina (every 4 weeks). Everyone there is awesome! They provide water, champagne, tea, or my FAVE Vietnamese Iced Coffee. They are sweet and talented and really care for their clients. Almost everyone is a regular at CDM Nail & Beauty Bar. read more

Seriously beyond impressed with my service today! My nail technician whose name I believe is V, did an amazing job! I usually have short nails with not the best nail beds and she did such a meticulous job trimming my cuticles and applying the polish beautifully I am so in awe! Will 100% be coming back! read more

Service was fantastic, perfect for my sister and me. While on vacation we stopped for some pampering and were pleasantly surprised! It was the most thorough pedicure either of us have received. It was clean, the workers were friendly, kind, and offered their options, but were in no way pushy. They did not have massage chairs, but the thoroughness and overall calm atmosphere more than compensated! read more

This review is a few days late but I came in for a new set and Anne (the manager) was so so lovely. The salon I went to previous did a horrible job with my acrylics. She recommended reshaping and changing the color and I love the outcome. I get so many compliments on the color and she was really meticulous painting them. Definitely coming back. read more
