Amazing service and experience with them. While bridesmaids dress shopping with 4 of my 8 bridesmaids just down the street, I sent my other 4 bridesmaids to get their nails done and then after your first appointment, we switched and the second half got their nails done. The whole experience was great from working out pricing and tip to scheduling, all of it. So so thankful! Highly recommend read more

I have been going to Happy Nails for over 10 years and love all of the technicians. The all do an excellent job. Recently the business next door is blasting music and changing the relaxing atmosphere of the salon. I don't understand why they don't rectify the situation. The other business shouldn't be able to change the salons atmosphere. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. Very professional, very unfriendly or welcoming. There was one patron in there that demanded I go outside cause I was on my phone and then whispered "you're welcome" to the lady doing her pedicure like the employee said thank you. I immediately left and I will never be coming back. If you want rude mean people doing your nails that do a half ass job, go here. If you want professionalism and hospitality, go literally anywhere but here. Make the drive if you have to. 0/10 horrible... be warned. Do not even attempt this place. Awful awful experience. Avoid at all costs read more

Great atmosphere and my nails turned out terrific! All the ladies are so sweet and the vibes are immaculate.

Less than a week later, 3 nails are already popping. No wonder why. The nails are extremely thick, shapeless and they didn't filed on top. They only applied the powder and the color right away. I also asked for skinny coffin nails and apparently they don't know how to do it, because I requested this specific shape twice (when I arrived and before I left) and still, I left with my nails crooked and shapeless. Plus one of the ladies gave me an attitude and thought that I had no money to pay, when I asked if they accepted Apple Pay. WTH. Seriously? I also didn't tell her that although I can't properly speak Vietnamese since I am not a native, I could understand a lot of what they were saying in front of me, since my best friend is a native and I have been studying Vietnamese for YEARS. What a shame! read more

Happy Nails - This is what they call skinny coffin nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Corona Del Mar, California

I went in today and specifically showed a picture to ask if they could do it. One girl asked another if she could but then she came back to me and said she could. Should've known if she asked someone else that she might have a hard time. Really wish they would just be honest if they could genuinely do the design or if it's to challenging for the nail tech. The woman who did my nails was very nice and patient doing the design but it just wasn't close. The shape isn't close to what I wanted either. So I just left rather sad it doesn't look like the picture :/ I was recommended here by another salon who told me to ask for a specific girl because I originally wanted gel x for the shape. But when I arrived the woman I got convinced me just to do dip which is what I had. I think maybe it might've been closer and a better experience had a more experienced person done my nails. Also the tools they used on me weren't fresh out of those blue bags which I feel is just extra clean to me. read more

Come to this place for acrylic nail removal! Another nail salon was about to rip my whole nail off with pliers, literally. The nail lady here definitely knew what she was doing & applied nail glue dissolving/removal solution to take it off seamlessly. She also applied nail oil treatment & clear nail strengthening polish after. $15 total. They were also so sweet! read more

You never know what to expect when you are out of town, and in need of a Mani Pedi. I had to write a review,. My husband and I went in blindly. We were surprised at how wonderful the manicure and pedicure with callus removal + a 10 minute massage turned out. They paid special attention to our hands and feet and made them look absolutely wonderful. It's nice to have experiences from service that the people caring for you, actually like their job. They do it so well and it shows. We are sincerely grateful, and we will be back every time we are in town. May God continue to bless your business! read more

Don't go here they have no idea how to clean or paint the nails. They made my finger BLEED and my nail skin was peeling off next day cuz they cut off too much excess skin. It was $60 and I only ask to pay $5 but they still charged me $70. Not worth any money. :( read more

I love this Happy Nails! They are so friendly here, and the same nail techs have been working here for over a decade! (I remember getting a mani pedi here before my wedding!) They consistently do a great job and they have kept their prices low. Came in yesterday for a quick color change and I was in and out in 20 minutes. $7, plus tip. This is a smaller location, but somehow I've never had to wait. They have a small lot in back with a couple of spots designated for Happy Nails, plus street parking on Coast. read more

I enjoyed the service, and the area and equipment was clean. Great experience (next door to a fantastic juice bar!

As a general rule, I avoid going to any Happy Nails. However, in a pinch, it does the job. My friend and I came in on a Saturday looking to kill time before we checked out Summer House a few doors down. We shouldn't have bothered. They were friendly enough so that wasn't the issue. My first red flag was their selection of nail polishes. Limited and all old. You could see the separation in 90% of them. Also, not a very clean salon and I'm used to the employees wearing lab coats. The nail tech who did my pedi was attentive and did a great job. It had been some time since I'd gotten a pedi so I appreciated how she didn't rush. I also asked for a gel mani. I chose a pink color and after the first nail I told the nail tech, that's orange. She mumbled something I couldn't understand and proceeded to paint a 2nd nail. So I said the same thing again and this time pulled my hand away to grab the color that I had selected. The manager came over and spoke with her. She informed me that after a 2nd coat and top coat it would be the pink color I chose. I was skeptical and even said I would choose another color but they insisted. Guess what, I have orange nails. When I checked out I pointed this out. The manager offered to have them redone but I just wanted out. Why couldn't they have done that when I initially asked?? She offered me a discount instead. A whopping $5 off. So I paid $25 to have a color I hate applied to my nails when I told them I didn't want it. I will never go back. I don't understand these raving reviews. If you want a Happy Nails, drive up to the one in Newport Coast or Fashion Island. They're at least cleaner and don't play Michael Jackson music videos on a loop. read more

Would give zero stars if I could! My friend and I went in to get pedicures and manicures (gel acrylic fill and new gel full set acrylics). They got started on us immediately but it was evident very fast that they had no clue what they were doing. They started ripping my friends old acrylics off and made her bleed. Attached is photos of my friends nails by the end they came out horrible, extremely wide and thick. My nails completely broke off a day later because my lady never put powder on my nails. She filed off the old gel and then just put new gel on top without any powder or anything to reinforce the nails. It's not worth it and I would not recommend them!!! read more

Once again, a job well done! These ladies are experts at what they do. They're so sweet and kind to everyone that comes in. I got gel for my nails and the color is so beautiful Although it's a smaller location and may be crowded at times, the ladies make it an effort to make you feel welcome and try to accommodate to everyone. They have soft music playing and try to make the place feel as relaxing as possible. read more

I'm so glad I found this hidden gem. I'm so picky with my gel manicures & pedicures and this place is the BEST. Everyone is fantastic ! The owner Kimmy is so kind and accommodating with the schedules and the girls are all so good at their craft! I love Mai, Ann, Lily, Diane and Kimmy! I told my friends not to get their facial waxes here (because all Happy Nail Salons SUCK IT HARD), but they decided to try it anyway. 10 minutes in and out, is already a bad sign. And the fact that there were still random hairs all over the place????? All of the employees at Happy Nails could care less about how satisfied you are. And they do not take pride in their work. They will undoubtedly give you poor service if you do not seem like a high tipper to them. And since they don't speak English that well, you will have a hard time conveying your disappointment or annoyance. read more

I have been coming here for 5 years & I can't believe I haven't reviewed this amazing salon! They can always get you in same day & they are sweet & professional. Every tech is good at what they do & they do not try to constantly upgrade you. Don't forget to get a shoulder rub too, I could take a nap when I come here, it's so serene. & they remember you & what you like after only a time or two of coming!! This is by far the best nail salon in CDM!! Parking is easy as well & it's free! read more

I stumbled on this salon after trying a couple in CDM that I was really not happy with (rude, really bad service, really high prices). I live in Newport Coast which only has one [not good] salon so I was relieved to finally find somewhere good close by! I just get a regular mani pedi so I don't request anyone specific and am not sure about their gel/acrylic services but I've had a few different women do the mani pedi and they all do a good job. The best part is that they have reasonable prices! Nails have gotten so expensive and it sucks leaving a salon having paid $$$ and not be happy with the outcome. It's really nice to get my nails done here and not have that feeling! read more

This is the BEST manicure and pedicure I have ever had!! I have been to a million salons and this one takes the cake. They take their time and really get the cuticles. It is so clean and doesn't smell like chemicals at all. Love love love! read more

Just went here for the first time because I had a gift certificate and they did a horrible job! They started to out the wrong color on and then just painted over it, forgot to put a clear coat on 2 of my nails, got hair on the wet polish so now it's stuck, and left bubbles so it's all spotted. AND then they didn't have the gift certificate even though it absolutely is a Happy Nails certificate. Ridiculous. read more

Had my first pedicure today and it was spectacular. Maybe the zenith of my massage experiences, which are limited, but understood. My technician removed all unwanted foot skin with thorough accuracy and commitment. I learned that I could get over my ticklishness if I just fully gave-in and relaxed. All the while, the lovely musicality of Vietnamese soothed my ears. I sipped my mineral water and enjoyed what's to become a habitual event in my future. read more

My manicure from ann was good. My mom and daughter had bad pedicures. No massage and NO base or top coat!! Crazy.

I had to go check out the Maestro pedicure Chair! Very comfortable, but I don't think they massaged? Beautiful Spa! Great place!!! Gals are so sweet and the salon is always clean!!! It's my go to place for a stylish and fun mani/pedi!!

Ughh yikes! I came here to try it since I live in the area and it's convenient. This "salon" is in CDM and does not fit in at all! The chairs are disgusting, cloth and look like something out of 1970's. Dirty and stained. Tables are all falling apart and old. I can put aside nice decor however for great customer service...unfortunately that wasn't the case. I asked for a gel manicure and the lady that did my nails looked like she had zero interest in being there. Didn't even crack a smile. I've had my nails done a million times and always got an arm/hand massage after. No massage, just rubbed oil on my cuticles and said thanks! Don't waste your money here. Plenty of other great nail salons with better customer service in the area. read more

I went to Happy Nails with my daughter and granddaughter for a special celebration. It was a terrible experience. First they have the worst selection of nail polish I've ever seen. Spend a little money and buy some fresh polish and updated colors. Second, After trying to pick a color I noticed the girls rolling their eyes and making fun of me because I couldn't decide on a color. They weren't busy so what's up with that? I should have walked out at this point but didn't because I hated to disappoint my granddaughter. The polish applied to my nails and toes was so old and thick I actually went home a immediately removed it. I spent $90 plus tips at this place ! I would give it a lower rating if available. Terrible service, attitudes and products. You will not be "happy" if you go to Happy Nails. read more

I like Happy Nail Salon. I get Gel nails and they last for two plus weeks with a French manicure. I have had one or two breaks in a couple years and they've always fixed them for free. They have movies on and are very accommodating if you/they have to answer your phone. Some of the people/customers I've seen more than once and that says a lot for any place of business. I hope you try them and have a positive experience as well read more
