Called same day to ask if they could do an appointment. Tonie was the one I spoke to and she was very friendly, she told me to come 5pm then changed to 5:30pm and said she doesn't want to promise me 5pm then in case her current client is not done, I had to wait longer.. I came 5:20pm, she was finishing her work with the other client then she greeted me.. she asked what I would like to do, what color and designs. She was very friendly and talented! She took her time, she didn't rush, and she care about her job. The place is super clean, nice set up, very modern looking, and everyone dressed up super cute not like typical nail salons you go to. Everyone is so friendly and very helpful to their customers. Thank you for awesome service and loving my nails!!! Great job Tonie. read more

Freshly Polished - First time I requested coffin nails and it's so cute! - Nail Salons Near Me - Newport Beach, California

If you are the type of person to go to a nail salon to relax, DONT GO. These workers will be talking in Vietnamese to each other the entire time, most likely talking about you. I was late to my appointment, which I called prior to coming in to make sure it was still okay for me to come. They assured me that it was okay and that they are ready for me. When I came in, I immediately knew the energy was off. Since I sat down, they were saying things like "oh yeah, she was late so she can wait for us". One of the other nail techs even say "oh feel free to charge her whatever you want" to what my nail tech said "yeah I'm gonna charge her $7 extra". They didn't know I was fluent in Vietnamese. I didn't say anything because I wanted to continue to hear what they had to say about me. They also asked me where I was from and if I lived in the area. I am assuming that they're asking this to gauge what my ethnicity is. Also, they kept bringing up the fact that I was late. If me being late was such an issue, why say that it was okay for me to come and that they are ready for me? At the end of the conversation, I asked what the charges for and they said the $7 was for callous remover. I just took it as that and didn't call them out on it. Right before I left, I told them in Vietnamese that if they were going to talk shit, make sure I wasn't Vietnamese and that people don't understand them. Their shocked faces made the whole experience worth it tbh. In short, these people are probably going to talk shit about you the whole time. read more

I was referred to Joyce at Freshly Polished by a really good friend after I vented to her about the overpriced, terrible customer service I was getting elsewhere. Her nails always look nice so I decided to give Joyce a try. I have gone here twice already and I know that I'll continue coming here for a long time. The salon is super clean, the staff is sweet and friendly, and they even have a cute fireplace. Dana is absolutely amazing. She can do any new design or color that you see trending on social media. I give Lisa here 5+ stars!! She does an amazing job, I always walk out super happy with my nails. The best part about it is how long they last! I can easily go 2-3 weeks every single time and never even get a chip. I have gone to so many different people over the years and Lisa is BY FAR the best. Would highly, highly recommend her to everyone who wants perfect, long-lasting nails!! She is also quick to respond to texts when I want to make an appointment and makes time even when I text her last minute. Her # is 714-757-7547 for all of you who want an appointment :) read more

Back again! Same excellent service, and still lovely, clean and comfortable surroundings! They are doing some upgrading/remodeling (not during open hours) to make the salon even nicer. I left feeling pampered, well cared for, and HAPPY! read more

Such a great place they really take care of you and give you the best service. My nails Manny and petty were both amazing

Went to this place for my nails, her name is Joyce I had the worst experience with her, very very bad customer service, she was very rude, and very disrespectful. When I went today for my manicure, I wasn't happy with one of my nails so I went back to ask her to change the color of just that one, she started getting very disrespectful with me and had a horrible attitude. I had my friends go there as well but they all had the same experience with her. She's not patients at all with her clients. You might as well go to a different place that gives you a good customer service. I went there to relax and enjoy but it was one the worst experience that I had in my life! read more

Simply the best! Tonie has been doing my nails for 15 years. I just love her. Quality work

Freshly Polished Nail Salon is absolutely the best! Tonie has done my nails for a number of years now, and I love her new location (right next to Studio 4 Salon where I can get my hair done by the excellent Maxx Wells)! She has a wonderful selection of colors and gels to choose from and she goes out of her way to make sure that all of your needs are met and that the quality of your nails is top notch! My mani/pedi was spectacular (my usual conservative natural nails with a wild and delightful iridescent blue for the toes). She even gave my daughters (ages 10 and 7) little mani/pedi's with fanciful iridescent gel colors of their choice. Couldn't be happier and will definitely be coming back again! read more
