I contacted other locksmiths, but Mark was came in at a great price and tried to walk me through testing the key fob, swapping its batteries, the physical key and anything else that could be wrong. Luckily for me the battery came back to life enough for me ro be able to take the car to Mark. There he did some diagnostics and told me it was likely a failing battery and not the key fob. Well, I was grateful for that as it meant I didn't need to replace the current key fob. But I don't like to be left unprepared so I asked him to program a second key fob while I was there. I had bought one previously but put off getting it done. Mark quickly cut and programmed the new one. It worked as good as the original. Anyway a long annoying morning ending up pretty great as I now knew what was wrong, was able to get into my car and get it started. And I got a new key fob done for a great price.
