They take care of your home as if it were their own home, and this approach is found with every single person on their teams. We needed extensive work on our home and did research and set up an appointment in January 2022. We met with Mr. Artur Komov and asked for the work to be done in two and a half months and to stay within the budget. He delivered and provided more. The price was reasonable and the quality was the best. He and his father, Jay, as well as all of his teams and workers have now become part of our family. We received new or remodeled: - sub-basement and basement (two whole floors, gutted and fixed) - bathroom, - kitchen, - all windows throughout the house, - roofing, - gutters - siding, - patio, - cement walkway around the house, - electrical, - plumbing, - painted all the rooms, - closet, and - stairways. The reasons of why they are best are as follows: 1) Focus on the customer / Passion for doing the right thing / Hardworking teams - Mr. Komov and Jay have one job, and it is to do the job in the best way. They do not take their teams away to work on other projects, or use cheap supplies, or ignore your concerns. They are amazing. Everyday, their teams were in our home in the morning until the end of day. Mr. Komov came by the house multiple times a week and checked on the progress. 2) The Best Crews / Team People / Trades - Your project is as good as the people working on them directly and they have the BEST. a. Demolition - It starts with Thomas and Jean and their teams who did demolition the first day. They were great, and removed all the debris and was careful in how they got the areas ready. b. Alfredo and his Team - Our project manager was Alfredo and he is the best. He, his son, and his team are so hard working and take great care, quality, and pride in their work. They do such an amazing job and pay attention to details and take their time to do it properly. If there is a problem, then he can spot it, let you know of it, and discuss options to fix it. They go above and beyond in what they do. c. Gregg - We started with Gregg to choose tiles, kitchen and bathroom fixtures and countertops. We would spend hours with him and to different stores to find what is the best fit. His eye is amazing. d. Randy and his Team - We need to have Randy come in and do some support work. He and his team are exact, detailed oriented, and great. e. Plumbing - I love their licensed plumber Matty and his teams. They will show up in the morning and will take care of every single detail. He has the experience and the best quality. f. Electrical - Rob is a licensed electrician and a problem solver. He will work with your designs and help you get it wired together. g. Rana - He and his brother did our patio and cement around the house. They were amazing, so detailed oriented and hard working. They turned our backyard from dirt and grass into a beautiful patio. h. Roofing - Our roofer, Hammo, is now like family member. He and his team worked carefully and were detailed oriented in changing our roof. We had a leak that would interrupt the work. His team came and put tarps on the roof to protect the wood until they were ready to do the work. If there is a question, then he calls or comes immediately. i. Siding - Gus made our house beautiful and safe on the outside. We had dated and broken vinyl siding, and he did everything to replace, to fix, and to make it beautiful. He also was adjustable to providing beautiful molding outside the windows to accent them. 3) Very Responsive - If there is a problem or question or request, then Mr. Komov responds in less than an hour. He is always there and always ready to help. 4) Great Quality Materials / Everything is Included - Some may use cheaper material and not let you know or force you to pay for extra "add ons" once you agree to the job. PHR takes pride in using the best quality material and everything is included. For example, they use the right insulation in the basements, and took care of fixed additional items in the job. They are dedicated to making sure that you are happy. 5) They will stay until the job is done, and it will be done right - Finally, they stick to their commitments and deadlines and never sacrifice on quality. I told her I didn't trust Shea because he told me the rollers were "under tension" and I couldn't do them myself. She assured me she trusted him. He did not take away any of the old parts, including the rollers. He left the old six foot section of track on the floor of the garage. He did not give me a receipt. I called for competing quotes later and found competing companies charge $400 for the same work One Stop charges $1100 credit card or $900 cash. If you use them, be sure to get quotes from competitors. And you can't assume One Stop Garage Doors are willing to take away the trash they generate. But the work is adequate and was done quickly.

Daria was a wonderful initial point person and stayed in touch throughout the process by phone and text. Vova came out for the initial assessment and measurements, and he was patient, kind, and really listened to what I needed. The initial estimate was more than I could afford, and I thought I'd have to contact several other companies for bids. Oliver worked with me to bring the price closer to my budget, and I was able to skip that exercise. I also decided to handle the glazing and weatherstripping myself. Michael and Ivan came to do the work, and they were thorough, quick, and resourceful. These are very old windows, and they encountered some obstacles along the way, but they figured things out and did an excellent job. They also cleaned up beautifully and left the area cleaner than when they arrived. Everyone I dealt with was kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. The workmen's primary language is Ukrainian, so their English was sometimes limited, but this was easily handled because there was always someone in the office available to communicate with both of us in either Ukrainian or English. I've had plenty of experience with workmen whose first language isn't English, so this wasn't an issue for me. I also really appreciated the way the company combines technology with personal communication. Everything is handled efficiently, but you never feel like you're being left to deal with technology on your own. There was always a real person keeping in touch. The entire team is Ukrainian, which was particularly meaningful to me as an East Village resident and a Veselka old timer. I was very happy to support them. This is the way business should be done. Not knowing many of the local contractors. My first calls were to the well-known window and door vendors (Anderson and Pella). After getting their prices back, we had to reassess the scope of the project since we would not be able to afford to do all of the doors at once. We did some more research and I came across Royal Doors and Windows. They had a lot of five star reviews which made me skeptical. I called and Danny was at my house in a few days. He took very precise measurements and photos. He even came back because he wanted to double check something that he didnt get a perfect picture of. The meeting in his office was excellent. He was able to walk us through our options, the costs and details. Moreover, he was able to show us the actual doors and how they would look on our house using his pictures and big screen in his office. It made the process extremely easy. When the big day came, the install team was just as Danny had promised. Chris and his partner we quick, efficient, and neat. They replaced three large doors and a window over a two day period. They were so quiet doing it, I was able to work from home in the next room. The doors came out great and we couldnt be happier. They came back to fix it to loosen the screws to accommodate the misalignment. I wasted over $10000 on this poor excuse of a business. RUN. It is not worth it to do business with this company.
