Have been coming to the OBX for 20 years, and this by far was the worst experience we had. We rented "Down by the Sea" 408 the last week of July and had MULTIPLE problems from day one! It was truly a nightmare as I spent the week calling maintenance and dealing with maintenance men there constantly. From the pool and hottub not working, to the broken AC, terrible internet, furniture problems, broken faucet, missing chairs, bugs and cobwebs in and around the home....I can go on......was truly frustrating. Now that I am home, the managers from CC will not return my phone calls regarding some type of compensation for the major issues my family and I had to endure on our vacation. I do not recommend ever booking this home, and do not recommend Corolla Classic Vacations. read more

We are frequent visitors to the Outerbanks. What a nightmare. Unfortunately there are no negative star ratings. Your making a huge mistake if you book a vacation through these people even if you had great experiences with them in the past. They were bought out buy Wyndham Vacation rentals this past year. We all know what that means. It's all about margins and the stockholders. http://www.wyndhamvacationrentals.com/corolla-classic-vacations/welcome.htm They must have seriously trimmed their house cleaning contracts because the house we rented was filthy. There were stains everywhere. Bugs on the sills. Sticky counters There were even cans and cups full of cigarette butts left on the deck. The charcoal grill rusted out and broke off the pedestal and the gas grill looked like it belonged in the trash. A dirty diaper in the outdoor shower area. Don't get me wrong, this was a beautiful $6000/wk rental. It just wasn't being looked after by the people managing the property (CCV). On to the good part. During the week, the waterline to the frig sprung a leak causing a flood in one bedroom and dripping water through a ceiling light fixture in the bedroom below. One of the lower level bedrooms was also infested with rather large spiders. When we killed one of the spiders, before the exterminator got there, it apparently hatched dozens of babies that scurried in every direction and became camouflaged in the carpet. Needless to say nobody stayed in that room the rest of the week even though the exterminator showed up fairly promptly. The water leak from the frig caused about a half inch puddle of standing water over a 10X10 foot area surrounding the bed in the bedroom next to the kitchen. The initial call to CCV was made Wednesday morning. They finally showed up Thursday morning after a third frantic call alerting them of the situation. I assumed they would suck up the water with a vacuum but instead installed two large fans and a rather large and noisy dehumidifier. I was told by the foreman that a vacuum would not get the water out of the rug. Really? If I stomped on the rug I could get the water to splash about 6 inches in to the air. On the side, I asked one of the other guys from his crew why they didn't vacuum and he said they would have had to remove the bed. Really? He also shared the fact that CCV did not have a maintenance contract like so many of the other property management companies in the Outerbanks. I could be wrong but I suspect that was the real reason a vacuum was not used. There was a torrential downpour the evening our leak started which dumped about three inches of rain in two hours. He said they were dealing with a lot of flooded homes; presumably the homes with contracts. Actually there is more but I think you get the picture.Now, you would think we were owed some sort of compensation for all of this right? WRONG!!! In fact, not only were we not offered any compensation but to add insult to injury we were told by Nancy the CCV manager that we disrespected the house with the condition we left it. Nancy so much as admitted she never visited the house and was relaying the housekeepers opinion. Apparently the owner drove in to check the water damage and witnessed the same deplorable conditions of the house that we saw when we arrived . He questions the housekeepers and who gets the blame? You guessed it. If the owner is reading this review my message to him is to run. Run as fast as you can from this company if you value your property. We didn't damage anything in that home. Not even one spill. If are still considering entrusting your precious vacation time and money to Wyndham/Corolla Classic Vacations after reading this, God help you. read more

Great house, bad customer service. Unfortunately we had the same experience as the other reviewers when we had an issue with pool heat. We paid the $500+ fee for pool heat for the week, and it required servicing mid week because it wasn't working. We have been vacationing in the OBX for 10+ years and have used several vacation rental companies, so we are not new to renting and issues that arise. We are not unreasonable in our expectations of service and regularly live the "eh, it's a rental...let's hit the beach!" philosophy if things are not ideal. We made no less than 5 phone calls to have the pool heat fee issue resolved. The response we finally received via email from the Director of Reservations was (copying from her email directly) "I am not sure what else I can do other than contacting the owner and see what they would like to do. I will contact them today and get back with you in a few days or sooner." That was on June 15th, and we never heard from her again. We paid $3500 for the lovely beach house we stayed in and our expectation was at the least a partial refund for the pool heat fee since it did not properly function. We would have signed on to rent this house again next year, however the lack of responsiveness and poor customer service of this company has left us speechless and without further reservation plans with them. read more

We just got back from our family vacation we stayed at bikini bottom 4000. It was an absolute let down... the house was filthy. We were told with covid going on that the house was going to be deep cleaned... it was not... the sheets weren't wrapped like they were suppose too, they had spots with hair particles on them and were dirty with stains. The amount of dust and dirt that was in the house was disgusting, we had to clean the house our selves when we got there, we had to go out and by our own sheets, we had to sweep and wipe everything down with Clorox wipes. The dinning room table still had crumbs on it from whoever stayed there last. The fans were packed with inches of dust like they were never touched. We also were told we needed to check in later due to them doing this "deep cleaning" we lost a whole day of being there and the house wasn't even touched. We also noticed on the side of the hot tub there is a pile up of just tons of garbage..When we called the company they just made it seem like none of this was there problem. We did call for maintenance too because the washer and dryer weren't working and the stove was broken, the man they sent was excellent he worked with us and tried to help out as much as he can, to bad the customer service wasn't as good as him...The house is in a great location and we enjoyed ourselves.. but they just need to maintain it better. read more

We are a long term CC client having rented from them over 10 years. This vacation was very unique however. 5 days before our four families (15 people) were to hit the road to go to OBX and our rental we received a call that our rental house was not available due to an accident at the house. While the caused some suprized and anxiety CC helped us work through many alternatives and found us a great home to replace the one we had. This allowed all of our families to keep our vacation time as planned and have a great week at OBX. Many thanks to CC for the quick calls and emails that it took to quickly make all this happen. Do not stay in a CCV home! We stayed in a CCV property last week and reported several fairly serious maintenance issues. Each day went by with no resolution - every day I called for an update and was told that "Maintenance" would come fix it that day. "Maintenance" never came and the issues went unresolved all week. I left messages for the supervisor, Michelle, but she didn't return my calls. I never had such poor service from Brindley Beach or Twiddy. I will not be renting from CCV again and do not recommend them to other renters in the area. read more

We booked one of their vacation rental homes through an external booking site, provided payment information for the rental and signed all documents for the rental. We were contacted several weeks later and told payment was due. We informed them that payment information was given to the external booking site upon renting the property. One of their agents admitted she knew nothing about how this worked and would call us back if they needed additional payment information. A week later, we received a voicemail stating our rental was canceled for non payment. There was no opportunity to make a payment or attempt to reach us as promised previously prior to canceling our booking. We attempted to reach out to them to correct this mistake, however they had already released the property for rebooking and it was rented to another family. The staff at Corolla Vacations took no responsibility for what had happened and offered no resolution. This was not handled professionally, and we highly recommend looking elsewhere when booking a vacation. read more

Rented WishYou Were Here...location is oceanfront. House has not been maintained. There were no beach chairs, pool side furniture was broken. Grill was not able to be used. Dishwasher broken for the week. Hot tub was not working. Glad we brought a hammer to hit all the popping nails on the decks. House was not clean. Waited for hours for a text to get into the house. Oh, they forgot to text us....waited over 4 hours and went to the office. House was ready 5 hours earlier. CCV customer service is awful! I have been going to the outer banks for 25+ years and this was absolutely my worst experience. And CCV offers me nothing to recoup. Avoid this reality agency! read more

I do NOT recommend CCV for your OBX rentals unless you don't mind staying in a dirty house. My family and I rented Wings On A Prayer 410 located at 952 Lighthouse Drive; Corolla, NC November 18-25, 2017. What was planned to be a week of relaxation with family members turned out to be a week of cleaning a dirty house and dealing with an uncaring unresponsive management team. This is a 12-bedroom newly built home that just started renting in June 2017. When we arrived on Saturday, November 18, 2017, we found the outside garbage cans filled with garbage and both dishwashers in the kitchen filled with dirty dishes as well as sandy, dirty floors. The stoves were dirty including the control panels with grease splattered, the silverware drawers were dirty as well as the silverware, the stairways were dirty with sand and hair particles, the hardwood floors were sandy, the bathrooms were dirty with hair on the shower floors and the bathroom floors. One of the kitchen refrigerators had a broken shelf which was stored in the pantry, even though this is a new house, the sliding doors in the bedrooms to the walkout wrap around deck were missing many blind panels providing very little privacy to the bedrooms. The broken panels were stored underneath the beds or just thrown into the closets. Cable lines were hanging from the TV's and the cable box was just sitting on top of some of the flat screen TV's that were mounted to the wall. Cable service didn't work half the time. The management staff from the office were very slow to respond and did not want to offer any type of refund. We asked for a 15% refund and after filing a complaint in writing with tem and sending them pictures of our findings,tThey finally did send a refund check of $225 to compensate for a rental that we paid $5455 for the weekly rental during the off season. The house is not very well kept to be a newly built home but supposedly the owner doesn't care about the upkeep of their rental house as long as they're receiving their rental payments from CCV. Many of my friends have asked for rental referrals for the OBX. Anyone I've given CCV, please remove them from you list. I've used Southern Shores, Twiddy and Resort Realty in the Past and have never has such poor maintenance service in the over 10 years my family has rented in the OBX. It appears they've removed the negative feedback from their website but if you check the Better Business Bureau website, you can see that they have 5 complaints filed against them in the past 12 months and I haven't even filed my complaints yet. read more

We have been renting from Corolla Classic Vacations for about 11 years. When we started renting from CCV, it was because they are a smaller company, and deal with the upper part of the Outer Banks. I can truly say, with just a very few exceptions, that they are a wonderful company to work with. We love our house, Flights of Fancy, that we actually come two to three weeks a year. There have been some small issues over the years, and CCV addressed them immediately, and did a great job taking are of them. I really cannot say enough about how promptly they do address an issue when we have had it. One time I overflowed the pool, turned it dark green, and the pool guy was there within an hour of us calling CCV. Last year when we arrived at our house, I noticed that the prior guests had punched out a knot in the wood of the deck. Since a person could have put their foot through, I called CCV. This was a Saturday afternoon. On Monday morning, first thing, the deck guy was there, and replaced the broken board, and actually a few others that he felt were getting fragile. Excellent service. People need to remember, that these beach houses take a beating from weather, and sometimes unruly guests. Problem do arise from time to time. There have been smaller issues, such as key in codes that do not work...but simply call them, and in 30 seconds you have a new code and are in the house. Leaky weather-stripping at a door years ago, again fixed later that same day. This year was the first time that I was upset with CCV, and part of it was my fault. When we discussed the issue, it was taken care of very quickly and to my satisfaction. My family will continue to work with Corolla Classic Vacations, and I do recommend them. read more

Ants! Infested kitchen apparently not a big deal. It's part of the NC experience we were told! I wish I had read the reviews listed for this realty firm before renting this past week. Hopefully I can save someone a headache on their future vacation! Upon arriving at our rental we found a poorly maintained property. The grass was up to our knees, the grill was filthy, the gate to the pool was hanging. Not what we imagined for our luxury rental...and we hadn't even gone inside yet! We stopped to pick up our key and mentioned what we had seen and they put in work orders for us. The gardener came the next afternoon. Unfortunately because the grass was so long tons of grass clippings went into the pool. They tried to help by removing them but the pool skimmer was cracked in half and wasn't working (we had to call in another work order). It was two days before having the pool cleaned. These were not major things but a good management agency would make sure a home is ready for their guests. We later found out the house was in the process of being sold so no one was planning the routine maintenance. A problem for us! Then came the ants. Imagine opening food and finding hundreds of ants! (Another work order). The office ordered an exterminator so we all had to leave the house. After throwing out all our food we piled 5 kids and a dog into the car. The next evening....ants were in the food again! We had to pile all back in the car again. Unfortunately the second spray did not work either. The guest book in the home mentioned the infestation of ants in the kitchen. Obviously a major problem had been ongoing for some time. Things happen when you rent another person's home. It's the customer service that you hope for that can make or break a vacation. We were very disappointed in that service. I will try another agency upon our return to Corolla. Sadly we'll have to wait for next summer. read more

We've used CCV for our annual visit to the Outer Banks for more than 10 years and have never had anything but the best service. We've stayed in at least 3 of their managed properties, and all of the homes have been great - clean, well-maintained and close to the activities we enjoy. The staff have always been friendly and courteous whether at the office, on the phone or via email. On occasion, we have used other property management groups, particularly for places not serviced by CCV, and our experiences with them have been less satisfactory. Keep doing what you're doing, CCV. Very disappointed in management company. We rented a house in Corolla Aug 1-8, 2020. House was nice but there were issues that needed to be addressed immediately and no response from management company the 3 times we called. There were outside doors that would not lock...even from the inside! Big safety/security issue. There was also a rotted board on the deck that needed to be replaced-again no action taken. House advertised as having 2 ice makers which was a huge plus for our large group. Unfortunately neither of them worked and no response from management. Many lightbulbs were out-no response. When our trip was over and we were asked to comment on our stay, we did but once again never heard from the management company. When you pay $13,000+ for a week's stay, you expect peace of mind that your belongings will still be there when you leave the property to go to the beach. If I knew who the owners were, I would contact them directly and let them know that they should consider a different management company. Again, house was nice but there were many things that needed fixing and our requests were totally ignored. We have used Corolla Classic Vacations in the past and service has gotten worse or nonexistent as the years go by. Goodbye Corolla Classic Vacations. We will take our business elsewhere. read more

We recently rented "Fore Decs 487" from Corolla Classic Vacations. You can imagine our shock when we arrived at the home to find the screen door frame hanging down and screen completely torn in many places. We had a family member who is quite allergic to mosquitoes and bees so screened porch was a top priority. We had small children with us so the frame hanging down with nails sticking out was very dangerous. The game system was not operable so we also included that in the maintenance/service request. We immediately put in maintenance request. We didn't hear anything so on Monday p.m. I called the office and put in another request. I received several emails saying the request was rec'd and would be taken care of immediately. Another day went by and nothing. I sent several emails to my contacts Amanda and Michelle and several voice mails. The manager Lori was supposed to call me. Never rec'd a call! I called Wednesday.. a service tech came out, took the door off said they had already ordered door last week and should be installed that afternoon. Evidently, this was an existing problem.. he also checked game system which he verified was not working (system/games were from 2007) I doubt if it worked for years. We are thoroughly disgusted with the issues we had with this home and the horrible management and unresponsiveness by Corolla Classic Realty. We have been coming to the Outer Banks for over 20 years and have used Corolla Classic Realty in the past. We have never encountered such horrible service. The amenities that are listed in the house description should be available to you. The pics of the house were very deceiving and must have been from 10-15 years ago.. We visit Corolla every year, this year our families booked a house and unfortunately one family hit financial hardship and we needed to cancel our vacation. Upon looking for options Corolla classic advised that we could resist the house and endure a $150 cancellation fee if it rented. Sounded like a good option. After signing paperwork Corolla relisted the home with 60 days notice $750 cheaper then we initially paid. We called various times and were assured we were not responsible for this- they confirmed there was no impact to us- they "just wanted to ensure the house rented". We were told this on two occasions. We just received our refund deposit check and it was of course $750 short- upon calling the management team the attitude and service was shocking. The rude behavior and tone was not what I would ever expect. They lied and said tough- refer to your rental contract we reserve the right to list cheaper and your responsible for the difference. I will always use the other companies in this area that understand service and don't lie to their clients- clearly Corolla classic doesn't get it. Be careful! read more

Renters beware! CCV was totally disappointing as management for our rental Absolute Delight in OBX. Afte six phone calls/messages, finally called for GM. Got response from Guest Relations Mgr, but still took three days and three visits to resolve. I don't want to waste my precious vacation time chasing people down to get things fixed. Now I am sitting on deck in a chair I had to cover with towel to sit. It's covered in mold and dead bugs. Will not use them again. read more

Our family has been going to Corolla on vacation for the last ten years and the vast majority of rentals have been done through Corolla Classics, no more. We will never rent from them again. The clothes dryer stopped functioning on Tuesday morning, they were advised and sent someone out Wednesday afternoon after another phone call. The repair required an "appliance vendor" which they claimed they contacted but could not give me a time as to when they would show. After some more phone calls and emails, somoene finally showed Friday afternoon. We were leaving Saturday morning. A functioning washer and dryer for a family of five at a beach rental is not a luxury item like a pool or a hot tub, its a necessity. This didn't completely ruin our vacation but the attitude I received and lack of follow up was unacceptable. There are a ton of rental agencies on on The Outer Banks, I would not recommend Corolla Classics at all. read more

We stayed at the "Endless Sunsets" (#572) home in Corolla Light. It was a nice, spacious home with a hot tub and private pool. We did have issues with our wifi connection... we had someone come to check it out and was told, "I can't fix something that isn't broken..." We were slightly disappointed with that response as we tried our best to figure out the problem prior to calling a technician, and the attitude wasn't appreciated. I'm assuming there's a bad/slow connection, not horrible, though. Overall the week was pleasant and we really enjoyed the free trolley available to take us to and from the beach. The drivers of the trolley were always friendly and sweet. I AM, however, disappointed with the service of Corolla Classics - after we got home we realized we had left a few items in the room that we stayed in. I called 10am the morning we left (Saturday) to assure that the message was sent to housekeeping before the new vacationers got into the home. I never heard back from them, so I called back Monday. I was told that housekeeping did not check (not sure if it wasn't communicated to them or not), and that they would call the current vacationers at the home to see if they can look for our belongings. I waited a week and still hadn't heard back, so I called the following Saturday.. the woman, Kacey, I believe her name was, told me that she put in a call to housekeeping and that they will hopefully look because I was "annoying" her with my phone calls.. granted it was said in a comical way; however, I don't believe that is how you speak to a customer. It has now been two weeks since we left from vacation and I have not heard back about our belongings. I am going to stop trying at this point as it is clearly not going anywhere. The items were nothing too valuable (just some souvenirs and a few baby items), but I'm definitely not happy with their customer service regarding this issue. I would consider staying there again, but would look into other rental agencies and their reviews first. read more

I wish they had the option of zero stars. Our family has happily been coming to the outer banks and renting homes here for summer vacation for more than 40 years. As I write this review I am sitting on the deck at the house that we rented for almost $10k unable to get inside. It is more than an hour past check in and they are still cleaning it. Oh, and it lightening. No idea when we will get in but they are completely unaccommodating and unresponsive. I hope the week gets better but so far our expensive vacation has been very disappointing. read more

We've only stayed in OBX 3 times in the past 8 years, but we think we've finally found "the one", The Good Life OL4. The beach location and house we'd love to return to year after year. Our group was myself, my husband, his parents, 4/6 of our teen and early 20's kids and 5 of their friends. 2 people to a room and we still had one extra. Every bedroom having its own bathroom was perfect! We loved that the location is only a mile from Harris Teeter (for all the things we forgot). Only 5th house from the beach, so a very short walk. The elevator made the grandparent's stay much more pleasant. I'm a kitchen and bath designer, so I get picky about interiors in places we stay - this place was lovely! I found myself silently complimenting the builders/owners on the well designed layout, beautiful finishes and decor throughout our stay. I really can't say enough good about this place and highly recommend it! read more

We rented a home through Corolla classic vacations in July. We had some minor issues, some were resolved and some were ignored. Our major problem was air conditioning that did not work on the third floor main living area. It was obviously a known problem because there were 2 small AC units on the 3rd floor. They were not enough to cool the big main living room.It was not fixed until Friday(2 days before we were checking out) The repair men were awkwardly working in the middle of our main living space for 5 or more hours of the day. I made several phone calls to resolve our issue, leaving voice mails and never even got the courtesy of a return call. I did receive a small refund, however, it was not what I would have expected. Common courtesy would have gone a long way. I will not be renting from Corolla classic vacations again. read more

We have been traveling to the outer banks for over ten years. This is our first experience with Corolla classic vacations, and it was fantastic. The home we rented, Breakers View, was absolutely fantastic. You can tell the owners take great pride in their home, as everything was perfect. Also, it was fantantastic that there are no bunk beds, but XL singles instead! We would highly recommend Corolla Classic Vacations and Breakers View. read more

Beautiful home, but poorly managed.The cleaning crew prior to our stay may have been there for an hour. The beds were clean and fresh, the rest of the house not so much. Stained carpeting, and stained upholstery of this beautiful living room furniture & matching throw pillows really took my Ohhhh! to uhhhhh? The lovely decor was in dire need of a good cleaning. The kitchen counters were not sparkly but sticky. But, that was nothing. There lack of response to repairs ruined our last 3 days. A horrifying spider infestation in a bedroom, and two bedrooms with water damage left us in turmoil. A bad leak in the refrigerator hose filled my daughters bedroom with over half an inch of water soaking the carpeting. She woke up and put her feet in a puddle... luckily she was not turning on the light !!!!!! The bedroom below had water dripping out of the recessed light in the ceiling!!!! Thankfully no one was electrocuted. Many calls were made and the water was not vacuumed out, but fans and dehumidifiers were brought in. ??? Really?! They were still blowing when we left Saturday morning, with no compensation or concern for us. Nancy would not answer my husbands calls on Friday late afternoon, so he used one of our guests cell phone and she picked up immediately! Gotcha dear. We are still suffering from the so called vacation. We are trying to get over all this, but you look forward to your vacation all year and save and save. And we were unfairly treated! They also tried to blame us for the house being in poor condition after we left! I was livid when I found that out!! Okay Nancy cover your ass and blame your victims you tortured!! I would never ever do business with these people ever again. No courtesy, compassion or compensation. Take your business elsewhere! read more

We spent the week of May 18- May 25 at "A Family Affair". The place was great for the needs of the 10 of us. It was clean and everything was as promised. We did have a small issue with the pool ladder, but that was fixed the next day with no problem. They even changed the water in the hot tub for us since it had gotten dirty from our being in it so much. The only other issue we had was the microwave upstairs had some sort of error and kept beeping. We contacted them about it and we were asked if we wanted to have someone come out while we were there to fix it/look at it or if we wanted them to wait until we left (this was on Thursday). Told them we didn't care either way, but never saw a repairman. Not a big deal for us though, we just unplugged it and plugged it back in when we needed it. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would rent through them again. read more

This was our 1st family vacation in OBX and our first time using CCV. We renter Another Sea Esta and it was everything that we could have hoped for in a vacation home. We did have problems with the pool but it was resolved. We have already booked the same house for next year. I am very disappointed in this company. When we arrived the trash was overflowing and the living room had crumbs and bits of trash everywhere. The pool was not cleaned, there were dead bugs and plants everywhere. Also, numerous people came in to the house unannounced under the guise of repairing the air conditioning, which was working perfectly. All in all, if you are vacationing in Corolla, I would strongly recommend using a different company. read more

My family and I recently rented Camelot 125 (1136 Franklyn Street) in Corolla Light. We liked the neighborhood but would not rent this particular house again or use Corolla Classic Vacations. There were a number of maintenance issues with this property - some small and just annoying to more major. It was not very clean, there were ants everywhere in the kitchen all week, the remotes did not work, the shower door in the master bathroom was off the track and fell into the shower, the toilet in the master bath ran continually, the coffee maker in the kitchen did not work and there was a hornet's nest on the deck. The most major issue, though, was a leak under the kitchen sink. There was about a one inch gap in the pipe and water was leaking into a tub that someone had placed under the sink instead of fixing the problem. By mid-week, the tub was full and poured into the cabinet and onto the floor below. We called the office ask for repairs on Monday but had to leave a message which was not returned that day. Tuesday, we finally connected with the office and were told that there would be someone there that afternoon. We waited but they did not come. Wednesday, a maintenance person brought a coffee maker, fixed the remote, and removed the hornet's nest. Wednesday evening is when we noticed the water leaking through to the lower level and called the after-hours emergency line. Someone came within a half hour and fixed the problem. At the end of the week, we still had a running toilet that we just finally turned off, the shower door was still broken, and the ants were still a problem in the kitchen. read more

We have used CCV for several years to rent a vacation property on the outer banks. We had been fairly pleased with the customer service provided to us. We have had some issues with the home, beach walkway blocked with sand, pots and pans basically unusable for cooking. But this is the first time we had an issue with the office. On our arrival Saturday afternoon we drove to the office to see if we could get the key to the hard key property. It was several hours before check in but as it was early in the season we thought we would see if it was ready. The staff person checked the computer and stated that it wasn't showing ready, but when it was ready they would give us a call so we could pick up the keys. We waited 2 hours without receiving a call, so my husband went back to the office to ask if it was ready. Upon his arrival he was told that it was ready but given no explanation as to why we hadn't been called with that information. We are committed to another week through CCV in the fall. First of all, let me say that every contact we had with Corolla Classic Vacations (CCV) was terrific. Our numerous questions received quick responses, beyond that,the whole process of making a reservation, getting the check-in information, receiving the Buck Island gate code and the house we rented's entry codes, was smooth, friendly, professional and totally problem-free. The home itself was everything as advertised and more! Our family group of 13 was easily accommodated, in fact, the house, Stargazer, could handle a few more. The house has its own beach access, a great pool [too cold to use at Thanksgiving], and a very nice hot tub [which we could use!]. The house was perfectly clean and ready for us on arrival, decorated nicely, furnished with everything our family could want, and it all led to a most memorable Thanksgiving reunion for our family! I almost never leave reviews online but our experience with Corolla classic vacations was so bad I had to write a review. we rented Counter Point, a beautiful looking home from the online pictures. when we showed up at the home we knew right away there was a problem. My husband is a professional mold inspector and together we own mold remediation company in Pennsylvania. It took my husband about 30 seconds to find black mold in the home. There was an active plumbing leak in the garage with black mold all around the area. He found black mold on all of the downstairs vent covers. inside the actual vents were black (looked like mold to me but my husband said it was a combination of heavy organic load IE: dirt and black mold. the air quality in the home was so poor My eyes instantly started to water and i couldn't stop sneezing. We called Corolla Classic vacations right away to tell them that there was no way we were staying in the home with 2 infants. Corolla classic vacations proceeded to tell us that just because the home didn't meet our "Standards" they couldn't help us. We told them that if we are forced to stay in the home we were going to call a lawyer. so they found us a place to stay very far from the beach and we told them we didn't want to stay in a home so far from the ocean. we were told is was just for the night. the next day we spent all day looking for homes because Corolla told us there were no homes available. By the end of the day we were placed into another home thru another realtor company. We lost an entire day of our vacation and they back charged us for the night in the home we didn't want to go to. VERY poor service and they really didn't care about our situation or try to make it right. Will never use them again read more
