Cornucopia is a Malden gem. Tim is the man-- he and my boyfriend bond over SouthPark every time we come in. The food is great. My personal favorite: The Thanksgiving Dinner sandwich (cranberry sauce, stuffing, lots of turkey, fresh bread... YUM). I've also had their fajita wrap which was equally delicious. I don't think you can go wrong with the food here. The shop itself is clean, busy, but well-run. I would recommend! My only complaint? I wish they were open on the weekends! read more

The food was good. I had chicken oriental, which has a delicious sauce. But the wrap wasn't packed well. All the food came out. I ended up having it like a bowl But people are very nice. read more

I go to Cornucopia for lunch and I will say the sandwiches are top notch. Great selection, reasonable prices and the people are always friendly. The one downside is it can get a little crowded and there isn't a lot of seating and sometimes it can be a while before you get your food. I personally love the bellrock, loaded with meat it is delicious. Also there breakfast sandwiches, burgers and salads are also top notch. Also they have a variety of flavored coffees with the falvor being in the bean when brewed, not added after as a flavoring. In a place loaded with Chinese food and Vietnamese Pho restaurants, its nice to have a little variety. Please never leave us Cornucopia!!!! This sandwich shop is a must if you are in the area is a must. Please extend your hours!!!! read more

I am a fan of Cornucopia. My morning spot for coffee & breakfast before heading up the street to work. I have switched office locations and now work in Chelsea, but I miss this place and it's chocolate fudge coffee everyday! Tim is hilarious. He gave me my order for free on my last day at my Malden-based office. All week he was like "I want a hug on Friday". And he was serious, he came around the counter to give me a hug. He's "funny-fresh" as in he jokingly complains the line is too long, and goes "what do you want!!" or "oh god I can't serve all these people!!!". If you have a good sense of humor and are sarcastic, you'll get along just great with him. This place caters well to continuous customers, gets to know you by name & always makes sure your order is top notch. Try the chocolate fudge iced coffee (that me and a few coworkers demanded they bring back, and they did!!), and their food. All of it is yummy. I'm getting hungry just thinking of it. Call ahead around lunch time so you're not waiting in those long lines that Tim doesn't wanna serve :) read more

Me and my family are constantly wanting to go to cornucopia foods, because we went one a couple years ago, and the food and staff was pretty good! The thing is, it seems to always be closed whenever we go. It might just be because it's closed on weekends, but I feel like they would get much more cash if they were open on weekends. For example, I'm writing this at 11 am on a weekend, and it's closed rn. read more

I ordered a breakfast sandwich (turkey, egg and cheese). The sandwich had no cheese, I came back and she said that there was cheese there. I asked for a slice of provolone. They said they were going to make a new sandwich. Instead, they added a slice of american cheese, in the same sandwich that I had given one bite (didn't even melt it). Poor costumer service. read more

I love Cornucopia. Although I seldom buy breakfast here, it is DELICIOUS. I get salads here a lot, and they put enough toppings on it to make it a meal big enough for me. The people who run the front counter are lovely, and are always polite. If you are in a hurry, call ahead to order, because it can take quite some time to get through the line, and to get your order. My only complaint is that they don't start serving breakfast until 11:30. I want lunch way before that!! Overall, stop in for something delicious. read more

Ahh I wanted to give this place more stars based on the reviews. The service was very funny, nice, and easy going so that definitely added to my rating. I ordered the San Fran (w/out bacon) and was surprised to find thick slices of delicious roasted turkey. Win. The combo of the grilled onions/honey mustard was also a good call. However, the other ingredients could have been a lot better/fresher. I was disappointed that they put this sandwich on a $1 hamburger bun that's wasn't warm (they listed it on the menu as grilled deli roll). Unfortunately that took the sandwich down a notch that could have been an easy upgrade. Yet, the most unfortunate was the cheese. It was old :( . With every bite I could taste the moldiness settling in that even lingered on my hands afterwards. I'm really sorry to be writing a bad review for this place and I think I'm still willing to give it another try (but I might go for a dairy free option). I'm super sensitive to food that has gone bad! Hopefully this was just a one time fluke since others have rated so highly of Cornucopia. Speaking of which, that name is totally ruined due to Hunger Games read more

My cousin and I have been here once before, and it was nice. The moment we walked in, the menu was there, so we decided our order before getting into the line. We both ordered burgers, and we waited about 15 minutes, decent waiting time. I've come to notice that this may have been a family business as well, probably, because it just seemed that way. It was a nice atmosphere to be around, it didn't feel as if they were like dead while they were working, they were talking and laughing which I enjoy watching and being around. So our order was ready and we took our food on the go back to the store nearby which we work in, and ate our burgers in the back, and I've had many burgers before and these are just about okay, I guess. I had no problems with the burgers, neither did my cousin and it came with ' Utz Chips ', which I like, but I was kinda expecting fries, not that I'm trying to complain. It was a nice first impression, and I kinda have hopes that they will serve fries as well too one day, but hey, that's just me. read more

Got guacamole burger but this is disgusting ... patty feels super old n dry, smells bad. Guacamole tastes old. Not sure what people mean by "fresh" on the review. Completely lost faith trying anything else. read more

Cornucopia Foods - Sandwiches Near Me - Malden, Massachusetts

Stumbled upon....fluffy pancakes like you wouldn't believe. Over medium eggs to perfection. It's the little things that make a place great. Give it a try! read more

Mediocore salads and sandwiches, good for days when you want something better than stop and shop but does not compare to anything like Panera Bread. Its def quantity over quality at this place. read more

They catered an event for us and everything was great. The pastry, muffins and bagels were wonderful. The service couldn't have been friendlier and they were a pleasure to work with! read more

Why must you look so sketchy, o Cornucopia? If you cleaned up a bit, maybe my parents or co-workers could meet you; unfortunately, for now, I have to hide you away like a stoner boyfriend. But, honestly, if you keep giving me everything bagels with egg, cheese & bacon for under $4, and the most decent cup of coffee in town, I will never really mean any of my criticisms. Your salads are great--and cram packed with the listed toppings (!!)-- and, whoever Colleen is, I would leave my (hypothetical?) patchouli manpiece for her "designer" chicken sandwich before his j kicks. read more

This is my favorite place to eat after my classes. It has outstanding service and the food is excellent. Right after class I would grab a sandwich and desert with friends and joke with the owner and workers. The food is well priced, and I don't mind staying around to eat there with the sweet scent of pastries looming around and having the sun shine through the glass windows to light the place up, it's very warm and cozy. read more

Eh, the food was ok, not spectacular or anything. Got a salad with 5lbs of lettuce and a few pieces of chicken, cucumber etc. The pita bread was fresh though so I appreciated that. The coffee was gross but I like good quality coffee so maybe it would be fine for someone else. The guys working there were bordering friendly to condescending. Plenty of other places to eat in Malden. We won't be back. read more

Flew in to Boston early and was heading to Malden so I looked up a good breakfast. And boy did I find it. Egg, cheese, and bacon croissant with a green tea. My order was ready really quickly and it was delicious. The bacon was cooked to the perfect crispness. The man behind the counter was kind and friendly, nice to experience after the craziness of Logan. read more

Cornucopia is a great place. It's in the square so my friends and I always used to go there from the high school and pick up cakes for parties. It has a very friendly and clean environment and their cakes are top notch! read more

Nice iced coffee (they are adding more flavors due to demand). Yummy pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Until I investigate more, I think it would still be safe for me to assume that this is the only cute little breakfast/lunch/bakery spot in this section of Malden. Bookmark it, stop in! read more

This place is awesome. We had food catered today and yesterday. Pastries in the morning were great. Wraps delicious and the Chicken Parm was some of the best Chicken Parm I have ever had. I am only visiting for work but looking forward to coming back in two weeks. read more

A great selection of sandwiches and wraps...also the bakery is very good. Fresh food and attentive cooks. Order by phone near lunchtime otherwise you'll be in a line almost out the door. "You're gonna need a bigger boat" read more

Simple, clean and efficient. I love the young woman who runs the counter - she is a study in professionalism. I have yet to have a disappointing meal from this place. I only wish they stayed open later. They close for the day at something odd like 1:30 and I can't always get myself in gear to order lunch before 2. read more

This place was delicious! Had a work orientation a few streets over and stopped in here thanks to Yelp. I would never have found it otherwise. All I had was a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich but based on that I would definitely come back. All the ingredients tasted fresh and of good quality, and were cooked perfectly. It really hit the spot. They had some tasty looking baked goods available and one guy was having a bigger breakfast complete with pancakes and they looked delicious. I bet lunch is really tasty too. Stop in if you're in the area and want some quick, delicious, inexpensive food. read more

The grilled chicken and bacon wrap is amazing. Just wished that they were open a little bit later because they close at 2p.m but other than that there food is great and affordable prices. read more

Awesome chili. good wraps. very good chicken salad (get it on a BLT)! Order ahead to save time. They encourage it. read more

I absolutely love this place! I can't help but always get the thanksgiving day sandwich or honey mustard chicken. It is a little messy inside and it could be better designed but the food is absolutely amazing and the service is super friendly. Can I mention that the prices are not even that bad. Only downside, the hours. But what would you expect from a sandwich shop? For sure would reccommend this place for anyone trying to find a quite, delicious bite to eat. read more

I loved their prices and food if not their unprofessional and slow service... Neil in the kitchen is great but Tim is a bit sleazy and hits on girls easily half his age (like me) until they flat out tell him he needs to stop. I finally stopped going there altogether when a man behind the counter asked a woman getting checked out "you're voting for Trump, right?" (I don't need politics with my breakfast) and told me to smile in that particular way some men will (I've gotten more annoying sexist comments before....but the two together crossed the line for me.) You can't work with the public and not know how socially unwelcome that kind of commentary is. Make your own decision, but I went to them all the time for awhile but found myself so angry from this repeated type of interaction I am no longer willing to give them my business. read more

This is the worst food. I'm not quite sure how much these people were paid for these reviews. The food is poorly presented; service is slow; over priced and the place smells like pesticides. read more

I didn't even know this place existed but a friend brought me here for breakfast and I'd recommend it to anyone! The pancakes are large and absolutely delicious! The breakfast sandwich was amazing as well... This hidden gem has everything and at a decent price. read more

Not sure where all the great reviews come from. "Do you have soup?" "Read the sign, No Soup!," was the guy's curt answer, tapping the little sticker on the side of the register with his pen. Soo...ok I ordered the chicken fajita wrap. Just awful. Couldn't find a single grilled pepper or onion, just an overdose of salsa. A half a cup of brown liquid ended up on my plate as I suffered my way though to the end, since I was starving. The dominate flavor was bottle BBQ sauce. I was eating with a colleague who had taken a group of clients there the morning before -- and the consensus was "poorly cooked, inedible" and "never again." I agree -- never again. P.S. While I waited for my order to come, I heard the guy on the phone taking an order. The person was apparently asking for far too much, prompting the guy to quip, "maybe you should come down here and cook it yourself." Funny guy. read more

Definitely the best place to go for breakfast around! Everything on the menu is delicious & the staff is wonderful. I recommend this local joint! read more

Cornucopia is a great place to go to pick up a tasty lunch. I eat here often. They have a vast selection of creative burgers, sandwiches, paninis, etc. Having such a vast menu, however, does not mean they'll always have one around. You have to read the one plastered to the wall, no where near where you order. The chances they have a printed menu available near the counter is slim-to-none. Their major business seems to be catering, which is why for a lunch place the cooks are above-average. They cook to order, so calling ahead is a good idea if you're in a hurry and know what you want. Parking on the street can suck, but you can park for free in the lot beside the restaurant if you remember to get it validated. Seating is large sturdy tables; definitely nothing fancy in the way of decor. But, Cornucopia is exactly what it pretends to be - a nice little place to pick up breakfast or lunch. read more

If I could I would give this place a negative 5! I've never had to deal with such rude unprofessional people in my life and this is a stupid breakfast place for Christ's sake! So I called to place an order and a girl picks up and the first thing out of her mouth was "yes" so I was like, hi, I would like to place an order then she said "yes" again! At that point I'm about to hang up but I kept it cool and said I would like to place an order so this chick FUCKEN said "yes" again! Wtf so I was like okayyyyy can I get a sandwich? And she said that she can put it in but don't know if the cook is going to make it because it's not lunch yet. Ummmm WTFUCKFUCKFUCK is it then... So you're telling me that I can place my order but don't know if the cook is going to make it because it's still breakfast?!? Do you even know what the fuck you're doing?! At this point I'm already pissed! Anyway I asked to speak with a manager and some guy gets on the phone and was even more pathetic! I was like are you the manager and he says I don't know why who's this? Really guy really who the fuck hired these people ??? I swear I bet monkeys are even smarter than these "people".
