My cousin and I have been here once before, and it was nice. The moment we walked in, the menu was there, so we decided our order before getting into the line. We both ordered burgers, and we waited about 15 minutes, decent waiting time. I've come to notice that this may have been a family business as well, probably, because it just seemed that way. It was a nice atmosphere to be around, it didn't feel as if they were like dead while they were working, they were talking and laughing which I enjoy watching and being around. So our order was ready and we took our food on the go back to the store nearby which we work in, and ate our burgers in the back, and I've had many burgers before and these are just about okay, I guess. I had no problems with the burgers, neither did my cousin and it came with ' Utz Chips ', which I like, but I was kinda expecting fries, not that I'm trying to complain. I go to Cornucopia for lunch and I will say the sandwiches are top notch. Great selection, reasonable prices and the people are always friendly. The one downside is it can get a little crowded and there isn't a lot of seating and sometimes it can be a while before you get your food. I personally love the bellrock, loaded with meat it is delicious. Also there breakfast sandwiches, burgers and salads are also top notch. Also they have a variety of flavored coffees with the falvor being in the bean when brewed, not added after as a flavoring. In a place loaded with Chinese food and Vietnamese Pho restaurants, its nice to have a little variety. Please never leave us Cornucopia!!!! I am a fan of Cornucopia. My morning spot for coffee & breakfast before heading up the street to work. I have switched office locations and now work in Chelsea, but I miss this place and it's chocolate fudge coffee everyday! Tim is hilarious. He gave me my order for free on my last day at my Malden-based office. All week he was like "I want a hug on Friday". And he was serious, he came around the counter to give me a hug. He's "funny-fresh" as in he jokingly complains the line is too long, and goes "what do you want!!" or "oh god I can't serve all these people!!!". If you have a good sense of humor and are sarcastic, you'll get along just great with him. This place caters well to continuous customers, gets to know you by name & always makes sure your order is top notch. Try the chocolate fudge iced coffee (that me and a few coworkers demanded they bring back, and they did!!), and their food. All of it is yummy. I'm getting hungry just thinking of it. I love Cornucopia. Although I seldom buy breakfast here, it is DELICIOUS. I get salads here a lot, and they put enough toppings on it to make it a meal big enough for me. The people who run the front counter are lovely, and are always polite. If you are in a hurry, call ahead to order, because it can take quite some time to get through the line, and to get your order. My only complaint is that they don't start serving breakfast until 11:30. I want lunch way before that!! Overall, stop in for something delicious. read more

Ahh I wanted to give this place more stars based on the reviews. The service was very funny, nice, and easy going so that definitely added to my rating. I ordered the San Fran (w/out bacon) and was surprised to find thick slices of delicious roasted turkey. Win. The combo of the grilled onions/honey mustard was also a good call. However, the other ingredients could have been a lot better/fresher. I was disappointed that they put this sandwich on a $1 hamburger bun that's wasn't warm (they listed it on the menu as grilled deli roll). Unfortunately that took the sandwich down a notch that could have been an easy upgrade. Yet, the most unfortunate was the cheese. It was old :( . With every bite I could taste the moldiness settling in that even lingered on my hands afterwards. I'm really sorry to be writing a bad review for this place and I think I'm still willing to give it another try (but I might go for a dairy free option). This is my favorite place to eat after my classes. It has outstanding service and the food is excellent. Right after class I would grab a sandwich and desert with friends and joke with the owner and workers. The food is well priced, and I don't mind staying around to eat there with the sweet scent of pastries looming around and having the sun shine through the glass windows to light the place up, it's very warm and cozy. read more

Neil in the kitchen is great but Tim is a bit sleazy and hits on girls easily half his age (like me) until they flat out tell him he needs to stop. I finally stopped going there altogether when a man behind the counter asked a woman getting checked out "you're voting for Trump, right?" (I don't need politics with my breakfast) and told me to smile in that particular way some men will (I've gotten more annoying sexist comments before....but the two together crossed the line for me.) You can't work with the public and not know how socially unwelcome that kind of commentary is. Not sure where all the great reviews come from. "Do you have soup?" "Read the sign, No Soup!," was the guy's curt answer, tapping the little sticker on the side of the register with his pen. Soo...ok I ordered the chicken fajita wrap. Just awful. Couldn't find a single grilled pepper or onion, just an overdose of salsa. A half a cup of brown liquid ended up on my plate as I suffered my way though to the end, since I was starving. The dominate flavor was bottle BBQ sauce. I was eating with a colleague who had taken a group of clients there the morning before -- and the consensus was "poorly cooked, inedible" and "never again." I agree -- never again. P.S. While I waited for my order to come, I heard the guy on the phone taking an order. The person was apparently asking for far too much, prompting the guy to quip, "maybe you should come down here and cook it yourself." Funny guy. read more

Cornucopia is a great place to go to pick up a tasty lunch. I eat here often. They have a vast selection of creative burgers, sandwiches, paninis, etc. Having such a vast menu, however, does not mean they'll always have one around. You have to read the one plastered to the wall, no where near where you order. The chances they have a printed menu available near the counter is slim-to-none. Their major business seems to be catering, which is why for a lunch place the cooks are above-average. They cook to order, so calling ahead is a good idea if you're in a hurry and know what you want. Parking on the street can suck, but you can park for free in the lot beside the restaurant if you remember to get it validated. Seating is large sturdy tables; definitely nothing fancy in the way of decor. But, Cornucopia is exactly what it pretends to be - a nice little place to pick up breakfast or lunch. read more
