We went for brunch here and I really loved it. I had a brunch menu which consisted of a huge bowl of muesli and a bagel. There are 12 types of muesli to choose from (!) and you get to choose a topping for your bagel too. If one of these 12 types doesn't tickle your fancy you can make your own bowl of muesli at the muesli bar! You can also get your muesli to go if you haven't got time to sit and eat. This place was so cute! First of all, I've never been to a cereal cafe before, but even though we were there, neither of us wound up getting cereal! They have a lot of other foods which were delicious as well. My friend got some of their pancakes with peanut butter which she absolutely loved. She's a huge peanut butter fan and she approved so it must have been good. I got the waffle with yogurt and fruit which had great flavors and large portions. Overall, the food was delicious, the staff was great, and the overall atmosphere was really cute. If you're in the area while you're in Vienna, I highly recommend you checking this place out, it's wonderful! read more

My favorite place to get a healthy and filling breakfast in Vienna. I especially like the Energie breakfast, which comes with a bowl of müsli (with yogurt, milk, and fruit), orange juice, and a hot beverage of your choice for just 5,90. You can also mix and match your own müsli or they even have waffles, bagels, or some lunch specials. The interior is cute, with some nice little couches. I also think the people that work there are wonderfully warm and friendly too. Love it! read more

"Sweet" is a good word to describe Corns n' Pops. It just is a sweet café that serves one of my favorite foods all day - cereal. You choose your form of Müsli and various toppings .... and then you're good to go. They also have bagels and many other treats. And the tea is very well prepared - that's important! Now one of the best times to eat cereal is to satisfy late-night munchies - especially after you have drunk too much. Alas, Corns n' Pops is not open in the middle of the night but if you can hang on to daybreak, you can be their first customer. Because I eat so much cereal, some friends have joked that I am a "Cereal Killer." Okay ....dumb joke! Tip - Corns n' Pops usually closes for a few weeks in August. I am writing this review in reverse so that casual readers might be turned off as I don't want this to become a huge touristy type place. Its simply too nice and cute and homely that I don't want it overrun with huge numbers of people. So here goes the review. ( The opposite is true! ): "This is a horrid tiny little side street deli/restaurant that has the worst coffee and breakfasts anywhere in Vienna. Their muesli buffet is awful and the waffles are completely inedible. The staff are rude and unkind and the service is abysmal. Please don't try the pancakes or any of their many different types of coffees and teas, they are unappetising." Sorry cant keep it up, this place is too nice... We tried to have breakfast a few weeks ago but for some reason or another it was closed so we were holding thumbs that today it would be open and it was! Yay! And what a great place this is, it feels like a 1950 kitchen inside and the warmth the staff exude is only greatly complimented by the large array of (mainly) breakfasts on offer. From the huge muesli bar where you get to mix and match to your own taste to the waffles (mine with apfelmus and cinnamon-yummy!) to the pancakes to soups and bagels, its all here. There are loads of different teas and coffees to try and since I only tried one (English Toffee Latte) I can only comment on it. It was fantastic! The service is quick and friendly and the tables very nicely set up and arranged. Quick tip though, go for one of their offers. For example, there are crunchy spelt, cinnamon squares, sugar free flakes, millet pops, buckwheat or corn flakes, and chocolate cereals. Corns n Pops has been reviewed like a thousand times so I should be able to keep this short.. Yeah right. This place is awesome, y'all! Sure, the "bagels" aren't real bagels, and are about 2/3rds the size of "real" bagels, but they are no less delicious for it, and if you are craving a bagel in Vienna, this is a place that delivers (like, delivers the goods, they don't actually bring a bagel to your flat.) Also.. Their chai latte. Oh my, I have been waiting over 2 years to find a decent chai latte in this city that wasn't at a Starbucks, and Corns n Pops has perhaps the best chai latte, or one of the best, ever. It's not really sweet, either, which I think is a very good thing (you can always add your own sweetness, be it sugar or Splenda or whatever). I think it's absolutely perfect the way it is, though. I can't attest to its muesli/oatmeal/cereal merits, although the other reviews indicate this place delivers (again, not literally delivering..), and I absolutely believe it. Everything else that I tried was so good, and the place inside is so bright and nice.. Ah! I knew with so many positive reviews it was silly to wait so long to try it! We only discovered this place on our 2nd last day in Vienna, but it was so good we came back on our last day too! These were 2 of the best breakfasts we had while on our trip through Europe. The food selection, smoothies, and coffee were all awesome, and the staff there spoke great English. They were happy to help with suggestions and didn't steer us wrong. Breakfast here was good! The very nice employee spoke English well. It is an intimate cafe with daily specials including pastas, couscous and salad. They specialize in different mixes of muesli. I had the new 3 egg special which had feta, tomatoes and a mixture of nice nuts. Just a little salty but tasty. The cappuccino was 3 euros but good. They have a menu in English. Definitely THE place to have a generous, tasty and healthy breakfast, brunch or some baggles in Vienna! It is such a cute place, and they have so much choice in tasty muesli and cereals you will need hours to choice one! you can even mix your own one according to your taste. As you order your muesli, you also get some fresh fruits on top and you can choose between yogurt, milk but also soy milk or lactose-free milk, so no excuse! For a very decent price,you can also have a complete breakfast (big portion of muesli & milk & fruits + bagel & toping + hot drink + orange juice =7,90€) that will feel you up! Came to Vienna for a day trip and stopped here for breakfast after a long bus ride. The place is so cute and the prices are incredibly reasonable. The staff was also super sweet and helpful. I had the Muesli of the day which was Strawberry plus some other things. The coffee over here is pretty good as well(I ordered the Macadamia Latte).
