I would think that they would look for ways to cut cost and keep it affordable. After all, it is a nonprofit community center. They're pricing people out! They also have a lot of illogical rules they enforce. For example kids can not use kick board in the kiddy pool area. Why? Who knows. On a customer service note the staff member at the front desk can go from pleasant to argumentative. You never know what you'll get. Unfortunately it is no longer a fun place to go. This organization claimed they never got the form sent by my case worker, and a few months later lied to my case worker that they tried contacting me by phone, which they did NOT. I have managed to secure other counseling services. Thank GOD Pathways wasn't my only option. I am getting the help I've actually tried to get for years, absolutely zero thanks to Pathways, Inc. UPDATE 7 Aug 2019: Was contacted by a Pathways representative and her Supervisor. They repeated the lie that they called, then gave my wife's number as the number called. I can't confirm if they did or not, but know that my wife would have definitely let me know had they called her.

The staff in the infant room have all been warm, bright, creative, patient, and so awesome at responding to the ever-changing needs of our little girl. She had not been in daycare before--we had a sitter who came to our home--and they worked with us to help make the transition as easy on her as possible. And, as she has grown and developed, they have provided new activities to keep her engaged. (Shout out to Ms. Alyssa, Ms. Katie, Ms. Hillary!) Walking in, you frequently hear the joyful squeals and chatter of children in the older classrooms. The setting is great, too: big outdoor play areas, lots of grass and trees, and the kids get plenty of fresh air and exercise. I just can't say enough good things about our daughter's experience there. Ultimately, I knew we made the right choice enrolling her at Smart Start because, when I would come to pick her up, I'd peek in the window, or stand around the corner where she could not see me--and my girl always looked happy.

Everything they have to offer is awesome and a day pass for an individual or family is great price to do multiple activities. From their aquatic center with a competition pool, splash pool for kids, and hot tub and even a water slide to open skate with rentals included. Overall a great time and easy to come and go throughout the day. Grab a bite to eat in the village of Skaneateles or try the community centers new concession stand that's operated by a local favorite, at long last!
