My husband and I suspected that the wood was "green" . Mannington has a 50 year well written warranty so I wasn't worried, other than the inconvenience of having to move out and do it over. Mannington sent out their inspectors and they claimed the damage was our fault!! Something about humidity and that we needed to instal a house humidifier. Huh?! This is my third wood floor in this area and in 20 years, I have never had wood coming apart on the grain or the finish coming off. Wood Brothers were also shocked with the report results and went after Mannington. Even Mannington's local representative agreed about the faulty product, but Mannington Company stood firm. No deal! SO lesson learned - The 50 year Mannington warranty means nothing. Most of the time Mannington has very good products, but not every time. Wood Brothers has stood behind their product 100% and is going to do the whole job over free of any charges to me! Wow! Even floor removal and installation of the new product!
