Orca was NOT the cheapest option nor the most expensive option, they ended up being middle of the road. I decided to go with them because Chris was VERY THOROUGH and explained EVERYTHING to me. The crew came out and knocked it out of the park, literally took them 2.5 days and it was done. This was back in June 2025, we are currently in the heart of winter and have had some serious rainy days and EVERYTHING's been GREAT, NO LEAKS, NO ISSUES! Fast forward to February 2026, I was so impressed by their service and workmanship I called them when the roof at my own house started to leak. (The leak was NOT because of age but the shotty workmanship from our builder Connor Homes.) I spoke to Chris again and he set me up with Peter. Peter and crew came out and temporarily covered my roof until they are able to get me in the books. Peter and crew came back in about a week and took care of my roof. TLDR: do not hire for anything other than spot repairs for leaking roofs…read more So we hired this company to repair a leak coming down in our garage. Sales person came out for review to make an assessment on what would be involved. In the conversation they offered to clean the roof, I told them there's a lot of moss up there and they said they could easily do that. Oh they cleaned something, just not the whole roof. They got the entire north side of my house covered in caked on globs of dirt. This included everything around there like my A/C exterior fan unit, my trash bins, my shed, my storage lockers and my deck boxes. They left a hose, my hose, on the roof and running all night long until my wife spotted it the next morning. My front hose was also used, I know this because instant of rolling it back up using the roll they just left it all piled up at the corner of my house. Now told them about this, and the person who responds just always says they'll get in touch with their "experts" and let me know. Eventually they came back to finish cleaning the roof and clean up the mess on the side of the house. They came and went then I got home and checked, looked like they took about two seconds to clean some of the side but ran off to their next project. It was in no way clean or even in the condition it was in prior to their work. As for the roof being cleaned and moss control applied, I can't get all the way up on the 2nd floor roof to know but my HVAC company came out to do some other work related to "Smokey cedar smell in air ducts, & they climbed up to the 2x!: floor and took photos. There was no moss control applied on the 2nd floor roof and miss was growing everywhere on the west back side, yes this was the very next day after M&H came. Cleaning and moss control were services we agreed M&H would do.m, but they clearly didn't yet still charged me for it. Oh and that donkey cedar smell? Sawdust in the HVAC exhaust line from roof & vent repairs. So basically the roofing company offered a series of services they never fully executed. I had to hire a different company to complete the gutter work and re-clean the lower & upper roofs and apply moss control up on the 2nd roof. Then I had to clean out my HVAC vents, and I had to wash and scrub the exterior of my house. How are they still in business is beyond me.

The project was to demo 800 square feet of 30 year old tile and install new tile flooring that runs from the large entry way under the front door into the living room of my house. With huge plate glass windows throughout the space. There was also a rainwater drainage issue that needed a solution. All my concerns about the tile layout and sloping for drainage and protecting the big windows were all addressed both upfront and throughout process. This job included removing the old tiles, machine grinding to remove old cement and rebuilding of the cement base outside, putting in a new drainage pipe through a cement frame under a glass wall and then installing the new tile. The end result is a beautiful new tile floor. I highly recommend DJ and his team to handle your home remodel projects.

I asked about any sort of warranty, having one or two cracks I could've looked past it. When it continued and started cracking all over it got frustrating. Especially when JD came out and looked at the cracks and told me he would ask his concrete guys about a fix. (At this point I was already anticipating he would NOT get back to me, and what do you know. Ghosted.) No communication after that, no attempts to update me on any sort fix. For anyone that reads the reviews. You'll notice the out of country, had an emergency excuse. He used that excuse with me as well after blowing us off for multiple days at a time. Seems fishy. Cheap contractor. Cheap work. Bad customer service. I'd recommend to do your due diligence and get more quotes especially if these guys are your only one. It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
