The Cornerstone Cafe is located in the Fast Credit Union building on West 7th St. in Hanford (the old old Sears Building for all the old timers) and is well worth checking out. For food, light breakfast and lunch items are served with a happy attitude and a bright smile. The quality is good. My wife haha a spinach wrap and I had a turkey pesto panini. Both were excellent. The ambiance is nice- part coffee house looking and part modern counter service. It first official opening day was today, and although their were still a few minor bugs being worked out, our visit was definitely enjoyable. The service was very good. Davisha took our orders very attentively, and made our coffee drinks and Santiago, the owner, turned out a couple of fine sandwiches. I met Santiago a week or so ago and heard about this business he was opening. After my trial run, I really this shop ia a real boon to Downtown Hanford's eateries and eaters alike. Let's give downtown Hanford some boost to keep this store alive and thriving. Give Santiago and crew a try and I think you will have a new coffee or lunch stop on your list.

We were met by Ricky, the Manager, and a very friendly and accommodating person with many interesting stories to tell about the Inn. He does an excellent job managing the Inn and he made our stay that much more enjoyable. The Restaurant and main part of the Inn is a historical landmark, built in 1886. The interior of the Inn and Restaurant are beautiful, with antique furnishings, stain glassed windows, tables overlooking the expansive courtyard, lined with trees and a stately Camphor tree that is over 100 years old. The restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience, with polished antique wood including the full-service bar, stained glass windows and lovely artwork. The menu offers many choices, the chef is excellent and the prices are more than reasonable, Our room overlooked the courtyard. The Inn is very quiet with the only sound being the soothing sound of a train in the distance. We couldn't have been happier with the room, high ceilings, adorned with antique furnishings, a large stained glass window, lovely artwork, and a very comfortable bed. The room was very clean. The highlight of the room was the large Victorian tub. We were to learn that someone quite famous recently stayed in our room. If you are a cat lover, there are a couple of friendly resident cats that like to interact with the guests, one lovely little cat named "Keno" who made our stay all that much more enjoyable. The Inn is just a few minutes' walk from the beautiful Civic Center Park and the historic Hanford Fox Theater, one of the few remaining theaters built in the 20s, which is fully restored to its 1929 elegance. The Park also has many restaurants, cafes and shops. Hanford was declared one of the 12 "Hidden Gems" in America Better Homes and Garden magazine and Architecture Magazine. The Irwin Street Inn location is perfect for exploring Hanford. Whether it is for planning a business convention, planning a Wedding, or just for a weekend getaway, The Irwin Street Inn is the perfect place. If you are planning on exploring the Sequoia National Park, the Inn is less than an hour's drive to the Park. We could not have been happier with the Irwin Street Inn and cannot recommend it highly enough. You are guaranteed to have a wonderful experience staying there. We hope to be back soon

Excellent their service is excellent. The restaurant is very clean. It's the best DENNYS I've ever been to. I think you should give ever been a raise there because the Cook does everything that cooks do everything you ask and then they come out and they ask you if it was satisfactory I've never had a DENNYS anywhere in California do that so I highly recommend DENNYS and Hanford California. I will never go to DENNYS again except this one thank you very much. Sincerely Diane Braziel 559-310-6735

I visited the Hanford Denny's on Tuesday at around 7:30 PM with my family, and unfortunately, our…read moreexperience was overshadowed by something that happened in the dining room. Three individuals seated nearby were having what appeared to be a work related conversation. They were speaking loudly enough that our entire table could clearly hear what was being said. Because the conversation sounded like it involved the restaurant, we asked our server if they worked there. We were told they were the owner, a general manager from the Visalia location, and the new general manager for the Hanford location. Throughout the conversation, they spoke negatively about other managers who either still work there, or recently stopped working there. They mentioned two individuals by name, one being Franky/Frankie and a Casandra/ Sandra. They criticized their work ethic, made comments about their appearance, and spoke about them in a way that came across as very disrespectful. As customers, this made my family and me very uncomfortable. No guest should have to listen to management discussing employees or coworkers in such a negative and unprofessional manner while trying to enjoy a meal. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere and reflected poorly on the restaurant's leadership. The situation concerned us enough that we asked our server for the corporate contact information because we didn't feel comfortable bringing the issue to the management staff who were involved in the conversation. We genuinely felt this was something that should be addressed. Since then, I have contacted Denny's Corporate regarding this incident but have not received a response. Because I have been unable to get in touch with anyone about this matter, I felt it was important to share my experience publicly. This review isn't about a disagreement or poor service we simply believe that professionalism should extend to conversations held within earshot of guests. I sincerely hope this experience is taken seriously so that both employees and customers can enjoy a more respectful and professional environment.
