Bad internet service but I suppose it's perfect so you can focus on your meal. Loved the atmosphere. People kept coming in for their favorite table or quick lunch. The server was well versed in the menu and took on 10 tables by herself. She also gave a fun fact about the ceiling. I might have to come back for the spicey chicken but splitted the chicken bowl with my boss. We liked the flavor of the chicken and garlic sauce. I'm so sorry but the salad was not good. I'm so happy I didn't get my own salad. It had minimal crunch and my rice was cool. I did not notify the waitress but to remake my food would be time consuming. Stopped by for a quick dinner while in Lemoore. Really cool place. Clean, nice decor, cool atmosphere and decorations. Really liked the look as well walked in. We were greeted by our server, Amy, and she was great. Very friendly, very attentive, refilled drinks quickly and checked in often. Very impressed. Unfortunately, the food was where we were left a little unimpressed. Overall, just a little lack of seasoning to some dishes. Started with the hummus and falafel appetizer. The falafel were good; not too dense, cooked well. The tahini on them was good. The hummus though lacked some flavor. Some bites you could only taste the olive oil on top. And the pita bread served with it was dense and lifeless. The chicken shawarma wrap was a little bland, the sauce was a bit tasteless. The pita was dry. The Zaytoona bowl relied on the tahini to flavor the dish, and it was too much. The salad with it had quite a bit of lettuce that was brown and unappealing. Wasn't a bad experience. We were promptly greeted and given the Orion to pick our seating. They actually have three seating areas and we selected the back room. While it was a slow night there were lots of take out orders that kept our server busy. However she kept up with checking on us and filling our water. No wine or beer is served. The bar is an artifact left over and kept for historical reasons. The appetizers are more American than Mediterranean. However the table enjoyed them. The election of entrees are a mix of Mediterranean and American infusion. The portions are larger. I recommend the garlic sauce on side as it I generously smothered over the food. To start, this suite is much larger than I anticipated. They essentially have 3 dining rooms. The main entrance leads you to the barroom (room 1). They allowed us to sit where we would like, so we selected the room towards the rear, modest dining hall with decorations (room 2). I would say one problem about this room is that the ceiling fans catch the ambient light (both artificial and natural) and reflects it back at the patrons, which could be headache inducing. And the room that was off-limits at opening is more a classical style room, most likely intended for packed houses and dinner time. The lasses at the front were both very nice. They served us immediately and the water tastes filtered (yay!) my wife and I shared a plate. The Hummus Shawerma with chicken. It was spectacular. The chicken was well-seasoned and rich in herbs. It sat atop the hummus, which lent the juice flavors to the olive oil and tomatoes. And the pita bread did its part in supplementing the dish. But fair warning, the garlic in the hummus could break your whole AND date! The restroom was very clean and well stocked. And again, great positive customer service! If ever we return to this town, this'd be the spot! read more

My tiny critique is more veggies & tzatziki sauce would be great. I asked for extra sauce & no problem. Great value for the price. Hummus & Falafel Platter (substitute hummus for baba ganoush): Baba ganoush was tasty w/chopped tomato garnish. Falafel were nicely crispy outside & light & fluffy inside. Good seasoning! I've been wanting to try this place as I haven't come across many Mediterranean spots in Hanford, and I finally was able to on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't busy, and the servers were friendly and attentive. It's a very casual restaurant with plenty of seats in the back. My family and I ordered the grilled tilapia and lamb chops. The lamb chops were delicious! The grilled tilapia was good too, but the mushrooms that came with it were way too tart. It also came with hummus and pocket bread (pita), and we enjoyed it. I didn't think the rice pilaf was as bland as some have mentioned--it was just right to let the flavors of the meats through. For the price, I wish there was a bit more meat/fish in the dishes--the plates were big because they came with a lot of rice & salad. I would come back if I was craving Mediterranean and wanted something local and to try their other dishes. read more

I think next time I would get the chicken kabob dinner option as it comes on a kabob and I feel would be more flavorful and juicy that way and then just share it since it is a large portion. She delivered our food and our table was neglected from then on. We waited about 15 minutes after we were done eating and the server never returned to check on us.
