We ordered a small feast (received the wrong sides in the wrong size and no bread) 1/2lb Brisket (received at best 1/4 worth). All food was cold upon receipt. When attempting to call in and advise of our issue the gentleman on the phone seemed to struggle to understand the conversation. We stopped in on a Sunday and had a nice lunch at the cowboy burger with tri-tip and the Beaumont burger with potato salad for our sides. We also had the Brussels starter, which was amazing the sauce with the brussels sprouts was off the hook actually and finished it with some banana pudding our server's name is Briana and if you're in here, ask for Briana she's on point she's running around and gave us iced tea refills and delivered everything perfectly. We came to the new Beaumont location for our anniversary and the food was amazing as always but the portions had us in complete shock. Our $30 2 meat plate didn't look like it was worth $30. We got pork belly and brisket. The amount of brisket was reasonable but we only got 5 pieces of pork belly, which had us very surprised. Also the peach cobbler was $8 for what I thought would be 16 oz as shown in the picture on the menu and it was a small 8 oz container. I was completely shocked that that small dessert was $8!. I think the value would be worth it for meat by the pound but for the meat plates and dessert I would never order it again. Also our server wasn't really great. It wasn't busy when we were there and he kept forgetting everything we would ask for and he didn't check on us to see how we were doing very much at all. We were so excited to eat at the new location and have a great experience but we were disappointed in the experience we ended up getting. I would understand if the total bill came out to this much if we got an alcoholic drink but it being so much and not even having an adult drink is crazy. We saw the ratings here on Yelp, so we figured we'd give this place a try today. We've driven past it dozens of times but had never stopped in before today. It did NOT disappoint! The staff were so friendly and welcoming when we arrived, even though we had tons of questions. They offered bite-sized samples of different meats for us to taste, to help us figure out what we wanted to order. We got the tri-tip, beef brisket, and brisket burnt edges, and every one was mouthwatering and tasty. All of the meats were tender and easy to bite through without needing a knife to cut it smaller. The tri-tip even though it's a lean cut was still tender and juicy. The beef brisket was even more so, falling apart easily when we picked it up. And the brisket burnt edges just melts in your mouth. We also tried all 5 sauces with our order and each one was delicious in a distinctive way, bringing out different flavors to play against the savory meat. My husband is intrigued and wants to head back on a Saturday to try the beef ribs, as that's the only weekday those are served. Only two downsides: there is not much space to eat on-site; just a patio space out back, which wasn't ideal for a hot day like today, so we took everything to-go. And the sides were not quite as flavorful as the meat entrees, but still good. (Granted, I like stuff spicy, and that's probably not on brand for a BBQ place.) Our first time at the new location, we frequented the smaller location. Not sure what happened after they moved to this new location but the food is not the same. First time at Cornerstone BBQ. They close at 5 PM every day. Very inconvenient if you get off work at 5 and odd hours for a Friday or Saturday night. They should really consider opening later. I ordered the family meal and the description stated it serves 4-5 people. I'd say it could easily serve 6-8. We had a lot of leftovers. Everyone had mostly positive feedback. Here's a breakdown of the meats. Chicken- a bit dry, bland and no bbq sauce- 3.5 stars Pulled Pork- lean and very moist- 5 stars Tritip- lean but a bit dry and too salty- 3.5 stars Beef ribs- cooked to perfection- 5 stars I'd suggest an offering of 1/2 lb of chicken instead of 1 lb and add 1/2 lb of Brisket so there's a full variety of meats. There were no pickles or pickled onions on the tray like the photos. Regarding the sides. One of the reviews stated they were mediocre and the consensus amongst everyone was as follows. Baked beans- on the sweeter side, very tasty- 5 stars Coleslaw- fresh but very basic and lacked flavor- 3 stars Potato salad- same as the coleslaw- 3 stars Mac n cheese- disgusting composed of only cold noodles and clumps of coagulated cheese- zero stars Don't know the names of the sauces but the only ones that everyone used were the two brown'ish ones. This was my first time eating at the new location and I was super excited. I loved the decor and feel of the restaurant itself and the staff was nice but the food was a let down. My pancakes only came with old banana slices out even though it was advertised to have whipped cream, powdered sugar, and syrup. I guess they saved me the sugar spike but still wanted the pancakes to come out how they said they would. The chicken and pulled pork in the other breakfast items were good but everything else like the chilaquiles and burrito were pretty basic in flavor. The lobby for ordering is very small but the staff are friendly and attentive. Hubby ordered the ultimate smash burger and he loved it. It was big and juicy. I got the two meat plate so we could try the brisket and I wanted pork ribs. The ribs were HUGE!!! I'm not sure why they didn't have as much smoke flavor as I would have expected as I am a dry rub fan but the bbq sauce was great and made the ribs delish. The brisket was not as fatty as I am accustomed to getting so I really enjoyed it. The bbq baked beans were were really hot (temp not flavor) but I felt the Mac n cheese could have been a tad warmer and both could use a little kick of heat (I like a little more spice)!
