Very cute store, incredibly friendly and personable staff, delicious baked goods that change all the time!

Just came to the bakery for my first time and had the best customer service. I told the young lady that I usually eat pretty healthy and she recommended a lot of items for me with a great attitude. She even mentioned the sugar free vanilla even though I wasn't ordering anything to drink! I ended up getting the veggie wrap and it was amazing. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! If I could give them a minus I would have. Tried this bakery based on a KRCA recommendation. KCRA gets an "F" for this one. Worst customer service ever. The curbside service provider couldn't multi task or the 3 cars lined up. I had a pre-order which did not matter, the others did not. The waitress walked back and forth providing menus, etc without greeting or assisting more than one car at a time. Instead, she took care of walk-ups and let others in the bakery. She did not wear a mask or gloves and did not utter a word when she finally brought my pre-ordered food out 25 minutes after I arrived at my designated time. The portions were extremely small and quality was just ok. Save your money. This is one company that is not worthy of remaining in business. read more

Super cute small family owned bakery. The prices are decent and they do offer breakfast and a small lunch selection. I always get the breakfast sandwiches and they are always hot and delicious. They do seem to be a bit small being that they are half of a 6' roll but it is a great snack. Employees are always friendly and helpful and the pastry's are just as delicious!! Only down side is that there is limited seating and no bathrooms, but it's more of a grab and go type of place. read more

The store was very small and crowded but not to big a deal and it's cute. The customer service was fine. However, there were a lot of things I did not like about this shop. 1) There prices for all of the pastries on display were not visible so I had to ask for every single price of everything I wanted. 2) they had other products in a fridge that I didn't know where apart of the store. I only knew because I saw the fridge they have behind the counter. 3) the stuff they have on the board was quite crowded as well. 4) There was also only samples for 1 cookie. 5) And lastly the pastries, I got the Russian tea cookie (was okay), salted chocolate chip cookie (was okay, would not get again), oatmeal cookie (not good tasted like uncooked oats and dry, definitely would not get again and I usually love oatmeal cookies)and the oh my josh muffin (was okay and dry). Overall the the shop was cute, pastries (I tried) were okay nothing great and I will most likely not be a returning customer. read more

Really sweet little bakery! They carry Temple coffee! Delicious treats! I loved my iced latte, it was perfect. I took two screaming toddlers in here and we still felt very welcomed by the ladies behind the counter and their frequent customers! They fed the kids and they even had dog treats. Okay, so I was looking for a place to have breakfast or lunch near Galt. Yelp did not disappoint. We went to this little place on California Street in Lodi, and it is absolutely fabulous. First of all, the staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable. Secondly, the homemade soups and salads are amazing and very well priced. The baked goods that they have, (hence the name scones in their title), are out of this world. I highly recommend you try this little place, because you will not be disappointed. I had cumin bean soup. It was delicious. I also had a black bottom cupcake, which was moist and decadent. They sell and serve Temple coffee products. Win!Win! Ample parking just south of them. We have been coming here from Galt once a month when taking dog to groomer in Lodi. Love the scones, but this is the second time I have purchased cinnamon rolls only to get them home and find one half the size of the other. I don't mind the smaller size, but for heaven's sake don't charge for two large when one is so much smaller. The rolls are lovely, but is it really that hard to get them equal sizes when selling to the public? read more

Probably my favorite place to get a cup of coffee and a muffin in the greater Sacramento region. Tara and Terrie are personable and friendly and the food and drink is excellent. I used to live within walking distance, but have since moved to Sacramento, but make a point of stopping by whenever I'm in the area. Highly recommend. read more

I love this place so much! The scones are amazing! I always pick the chocolate chip or blueberry! They're always busy and the food is delicious! They also have "Tea Parties." You can have your own tea party with friends or for celebrations. They do an amazing job with decorating and have a special room set up for it. I don't come in this place enough! My four kids were looking for a treat and after 2 donut shops closed, I said let's head over since it close to our house. We made in about 20 minutes before they closed. They all picked out some yummy treats. But were given some extras. I love places that do little extras for my kiddos. I was really hopeful of finding the perfect scone here since "scone" is in the name. Unfortunately, the scones are just way too thick & dry rather than crispy, crumbly or flaky. As you eat them they turn into a flavorless, hard to swallow doughy ball in your mouth. They also need to find a new maple icing recipe & leave off the old, rubbery tasting bacon on top & maybe add some crunchy pecans instead. read more

I went in thinking they had breakfast items and all they offer are egg sandwiches. I was hoping for actual breakfast items. I blame yelp for that one. The spice bread we ordered was very good which is why I will go back to try other pastries. Lodi has been lacking in good bakeries for years since Cottage and Alexander's closed. But now this lovely little gem is here to give us our sugar fix! I'm not usually a fan of scones as they tend to be dry and heavy but I'm now a fan after trying these! The scones are dense but light and never dry. The other little pastries and pies are always a good choice too. The shop itself is small but adorable with outdoor seating to enjoy your coffee and scones. The only downside is I wish this place was open later as I'd love to be able tp pick up some items after work. read more

This place is Awesome! Being Gluten Free, we are very limited to "sweet" choices but this place has much to offer! The scones are amazing (both GF and regular) and I love the mixed berry! The pb/choc cookies are delicious and the customer service is great! The prices are decent and the size of the scones are more than adequate! Myself and 9 ladies went yesterday for a high tea.. and in a word.....DELICIOUS!!! They are normally not open on Sundays however they opened for us to have the location to our selves which I thought was wonderful!!! The tea selections were delicious.. the scones were to die for...fresh out of the oven..the lemon curd was delectable the raspberry preserves with tart and sweet and when we put on a warm scone that was already melted with butter it was delicious!!! The tea sandwiches were divine...The quiche was excellent sundried tomato with artichoke and I really loved how it was accompanied by two slices of granny smith apple and two cubes of habanero jack cheese..A winning combination! !!! I give them 5 stars because there were timely, the food was delicious, everything flowed perfectly..and most of all...EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE we will definitely be going back!!! read more

I purchased a couple of pastries which were good, not amazing but good. The lemon scone was very good. I have to say though, the coffee was absolutely horrible. I couldnt even drink it and Im not that picky about coffee. I dont know what they used but it was worse than gas station coffee. The place is cute though. read more

This place could easily earn a 5-Star if they had a better ordering/paying/making coffee system; especially during the work week in the mornings. The employees don't seem to be in any hurry and many of us are on our way to work. It usually takes an extra 10 minutes that could be shaved if the owner would take the time to figure out a better process. Hands-down one of the best bakeries, especially locally, however they're lacking in customer service big time! We even called ahead to order the other day (to save time in the morning) and when we got there 15 minutes later (when they told us it would be ready), it wasn't ready, and they asked us to get in the back of the line to pay!!! It's over. Corner Scone Bakery has won the Scone Wars. This place is amazing!! Quite simply the best scone I have ever had. Once a weekend my daughter gets a scone from Starbucks and it is rock hard and flavorless. The mixed berry at Corner Scone is the exact opposite. Light and fluffy with a crunchy top it is bursting with berry flavor. It is really quite amazing to have this scone as you will realize you have wasted your taste buds for years on inferior product. read more

I have visited this Corner Scone bakery and supported them since they opened. I have also told several of my friends about it because I always have enjoyed the baked goods as I am a baker. I have never had a bad experience there until today. And the experience was so unpleasant that I had to post this and I will share this with my friends. The people working there were very rude, not friendly! Employees did not seem to be enjoying working there. And seemed put out as I asked a few questions about a few of the items in the case. I have known the owner since they opened so when I left I decided to call and ask to speak with the owner. Whoever answered the phone wanted to know what this was regarding. I told her that I just needed to speak with the owner. I was put on hold then they came back and said the owner was busy and the owner would call me back. I was just evacuated from Southlake Tahoe due to the fire and thought this would be nice to go in and get some baked goods and support this local bakery. read more

I'll admit it.....I love my carbs and sweets. Therefore, Rolling Scones is pure heaven for me! There are so many choices, so I've just been trying new things each time that I go, in order to find my favorites. As far as scones, they have all been exceptional. I am partial to the Triple Berry, Lemon Poppyseed, and Pumpkin though. My teen is a chocolate fan, and also the maple bacon. I've also recently discovered the Morning Glory muffins. They are wonderful! I generally call ahead though, as they sell out quickly each day. I love the Quiche Lorraine, and my daughter and friends (high school kids) love to run over at lunch for the hand pies. I usually get a few cookies while there too. I'm a fan of the Snickerdoodles especially, and you can't go wrong with the chocolate chip. The owner and her daughters are so inviting and friendly. Grandma even helps out at times, and she is sweet as can be. Such a nice family-run bakery, and definitely something that Lodi needed. I highly recommend Rolling Scones! read more

Not all local business' is great, let's be honest. But when I took a bite of their mixed berry scone... O.O whoa. It was great! Delicious, not too dry not too moist, sweet and a nice mix of tangy with the berries. All from scratch, these pastries seem to have few if any flaws. Corner Scone is an incredible Lodi gem! I just discovered this place, via Yelp a week or so ago and I am so glad that I did. I took an assortment of scones, muffins & coffee cake to a few of my clients in town. Everyone was super excited when I told them I brought them goodies from this spot. I also managed to purchase a Lemon Poppyseed scone for myself and OMG...it was the most delicious scone i've ever had! Perfectly buttery & not overly dry. The icing on it was light and refreshing. I am in love with this place! I am Gluten Free and it is REALLY hard to find good tasting gluten free items. I have purchased many different flavor a of gluten free scones and feed them to my my family without telling them they were gluten free. They keep asking for the bakery name they loved them so much. And the wonderful thing was I could enjoy them too!! I did the same thing for Thanksgiving pies and again my whole family didn't even know they were all gluten free! Attended their "Tea" with my daughter. It was lovely. Very gracious and I felt like we were at the old fashioned teas we used to do when she was a little girl. They had the full menu. There were 10 in attendance which was a full house but it was decorated adorably in yellow color. Each table had a different teapot and lovely plates and cups. The only draw-back was the background music coupled with the close quarters and talking made it hard to talk over the table to each other.
