I don't write many reviews, but I had to for this place! This bakery is a hidden gem. It's small, clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The bread is delicious, soft, always fresh, and fairly priced. I'm very picky about bread, and this has become my favorite bakery. I only wish they stayed open later on weekends, but I stop by every chance I get when I'm in town. The shop never feels overwhelming or crowded, and I love how the staff greets their customers. This is probably one of the best (if not THE best) panaderia in town. Everything is so delicious and they have a huge variety of things. You can also order cakes from here--they require your request to be at least 2 days in advance from when you need it (but obviously, the earlier the better). They have your classic pan dulces (conchas, niño envueltos, marranitos/puerquitos, besos, etc.) and beyond. There is something in here for everyone. It's a cozy spot that screams well-loved to me. Love love love this place! Right when you walk in, you're welcomed with well baked and delicious looking baked goods. I asked if the smaller conchas and the larger ones were the same flavors (which they are!) It was only me to eat the goods so I wanted to get a variety but not a whole size of things so I was very pleased with this. Sandra, at the register is super sweet and friendly. It made me feel so welcomed! The baked goods I got are delicious! I'm eating on a pumpkin filling one as I'm writing this review lol. This panaderia exceeds expectations on so many levels. My boyfriend gets our weekend pastries here, and on a busy Monday morning, working from home and needing a good dose of sweet goodness, I walked right into this shop and was warmly greeted by the owners. The bakery was not only nice and clean, but the large selection of baked goods made it so hard to choose. They ran out of these Bavarian cream pastries and after describing them to the owner, they whipped me up an order right on site. Wonderful place with excellent customer service and a great selection. What a great place! As I was admiring the large assortment of pastries in the cases, I was greeted by the very friendly owner. He was so helpful when I had questions about certain items. Since I was unsure as to what to get, I just got a variety of things that looked good. One of them didn't make it out of the parking lot since I ate it in my car. Haha! It was so good! I don't know what it is called, but it's some kind of large circular thin pastry that is crunchy and has sugar and cinnamon on it, I think. The owner is really nice, and I will gladly return. You know a panadería is gonna be good when you grab concha bread using the tongs and it smooshes easily. Freshly-baked and tasty pan dulce at this mom-and-pop shop! Besides the conchas, standouts that I tried are the polvorones (has the iconic sandy texture but as a bonus it has a really nice chew similar to that of a peanut butter cookie and some sugar cookies) and the empanadas de piña (tender pastry crust and no skimping on the pineapple filling). There's also another one that I really like but I don't know the name of it; it has a cream filling center that's sweet (almost like frosting) with some pineapple flavoring in it.....the cream is almost too sweet for me but it's still so delicious lol. Least favorite? I'd say the marranito (pig-shaped pan dulce); although the molasses taste is on-point it's a bit too thick and dense for my full liking. Still not a bad choice though. Overall this is a great panadería in Lodi. Drive is just a couple of minutes off of the 99 so you could easily make a quick stop if you're trekking through that highway! read more

They even have a big selection of less common ones, so I've enjoyed trying out new ones as well as old favorites. They also have coffee, tamales, and a number of other things. This was my first visit to this bakery, after seeing a post on Facebook about them. I was very impressed with the variety of bread choices. Every piece I selected was soft to the touch (with the tongs), which I knew I was a good sign. Once I walked up to the counter I asked the owner how long they had been open and she said 6 months. She also added they make mini conchas, tamales and cakes for all occasions. She then let me know they can cater to large orders of tamales, donuts, and mini conchas. Overall the customer service was awesome, very friendly and welcoming. My kids enjoyed the donuts, and the other breads we selected. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting some sweet Mexican bread. read more

This is located in a small shopping center with plenty of parking. The staff is super friendly and always willing to explain to you everything they offer. Their shelf's were fully stocked with delicious breads and cookies. They also have mini breads and prepackaged containers to go. They also offer tamales and coffee. Hubby picked out 2 flaky puff pastry/custard-filled items, 1 custard filled empanada, & a (fresh from the oven) cheese jalapeño ham filled loaf. Prices were extremely good. I grew up on pan dulce so I know when it's good or bad! I've been here a few times already & they didn't disappoint! The customer service is awesome as well, very friendly & kind. Definitely recommend! Tip to have your bread last as long as possible without getting stale or hard: take it out of the paper bag & place it in a container or bowl.
