Great prices and many options in an old school diner. I tried the roasted chicken tenders and fried green tomatoes. Both were cooked well but breading was maybe too salty for my palette. Service was amazing. Friendly staff. Next time I will try their dessert

Out for Sunday brunch in Cleveland our first Sunday adventure in the area. A wonderful little place with more than reasonable prices for everything you would want. Waitress were hustling all the time we were there doing a wonderful job. You seat yourself and you may have to wait for the table to get clean but it is more than work it. It has that old time vibe for the ambiance. Remember places like this when I was first in the Navy stationed in Charleston, SC. My wife loved the sausage bowl and it was just the right size for her, then she had a biscuit with butter on it. The best one she has had in a very long time. I had the 2 Egg breakfast along with sausage links and hash browns also with rye toast. My eggs were over medium and cooked to perfection. Very enjoyable breakfast and worth the trip will visit again.

Breakfast is my favorite way to start the day when we are on vacation. Since we planned to go to Babyland, this was the perfect location - away from the crowd in Helen - and we were extremely happy to find this wonderful place on Yelp. My husband ordered his two eggs over easy with rye toast and bacon, and I had my cheese omelette with rye toast. Since he doesn't eat grits, he gifted me his helping - a great serving!! I enjoyed every morsel!! This place has wonderful specials on the boards - extremely reasonable prices for food made by caring individuals. Two homemade cakes looked delicious on the counter near checkout. I highly recommend this restaurant - only wish it was open for dinner too!! Thanks to the Yelpers who put it on my radar!!

If you're looking for home cookin', Corner Grill is the perfect staple in the Cleveland area. It's an older diner..the atmosphere and service are nothing to brag about but the food is GOOD and the price is right. I highly recommend the Rueben sandwich and look forward to coming back for breakfast very soon.

Yelp is showing the restaurant as closed, but they are open M-F 0600 - 1100 for breakfast, Sat. 0600 - 1200, Sun. 0700 - 1200. Got the two egg breakfast with grits, sausage, and a biscuit, an added a side of sausage gravy. Everything was really good and the restaurant is clean, glad we stopped here.

    Four massively thicc pancakes

Came here to check it off on my list of pancake restaurants, but I left with it being one of my new favorites. This is a small diner style place that is loved by the locals for a good reason. I ended up ordering four pancakes and my waitress warned me that I could not eat them all. They were quite large and very thick. Normally thick pancakes are super dense, but these are fluffy in a unique way. I absolutely loved these pancakes and scarfed all four down with wishes for more. Overall this place is awesome and I will come here many more times!

We stopped for breakfast before going to Gainsville. I ordered one pancake and bacon, my husband ordered the western omelet and a side of hash browns. He seemed to enjoy his. But mine, that was absolutely THE worst pancake I have ever tried to eat. I sent the first one back because the underside was charred and crispy, the top looked okay though, which tells me they knew one side was burned and sent it out anyway but tried to conceal it. I saw french toast coming out for others that looked just as dark. I told the waitress I needed to speak to her and she said "okay...oh no, that's so wrong." So she saw it right away without me ever saying a word. When the new one came out it was way to thick to cook properly leaving the inside tasting raw and gummy. By what I saw from other diners, all pancakes looked the same way. The taste was very much like a sweet cornmeal/flour batter that was used. Whether it was or not, is unknown. That's the only way I can describe it. The butter they gave me was melted in a cup and it looked like bright yellow cream. I have no idea what that was about. I took a few bites but couldnt do it. I'll order differently from now on.

Great broasted chicken and vegetables. Their Thanksgiving meal was the best! They do homemade yeast rolls that my family loves.

You walk in, grab a tray, and you've got options. You can go through the hot bar and get served right there, pay, and be on your way... or order off the menu, sit down, and they'll bring the food to you. Very simple and efficient. The inside is spacious with plenty of seating, and there's also outdoor seating if you want it. Parking is easy too, which is a big plus, especially compared to the chaos you'll run into closer to Helen. Food wise, I always judge breakfast spots by the chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit... and this one held up. The chicken was tender, the biscuit was soft and fresh, and overall it was a solid start. The surprise for me was the hashbrown casserole. It came out good, but once I added a little salt, the flavor really popped. Definitely worth getting. The pancakes were also done right... nice crispy edges with a soft, fluffy inside. That's exactly how pancakes should be. Menu wise, they've got everything you'd expect from a Southern breakfast spot... biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, sausage, country ham, pancakes, omelets, and even lunch style items like burgers and plate meals if you come later. They also have a Coca-Cola fountain, which is always a win. Service was friendly, especially for early morning, and the whole place just has that comfortable, old-school home cooking feel. There is also a drive thru if you don't feel like leaving your car. Overall, this is a great spot if you want a good breakfast without the crowds. Simple, tasty, and easy.

Seating was roomy and comfortable. Bathroom clean. Our group got a variety of things from the menu and off menu. The pulled pork sandwich was right on. Couldn't eat all of so we saved it and ate it with some eggs at breakfast. Yum! The fried okra was hot and crunchy, and quite the serving. The little dish was heaped high with deliciousness. I got the Brunswick Stew, which was not on the menu, but on the specials board at the entrance. I never miss a chance to eat Brunswick Stew. It was just right. Not too spicy. Not too vinegary. I got a bowl and shared it. I also got the baked sweet potato. That was a real treat. The potato was hot and cooked to silky smooth. It's served with this brown sugar butter that made it a dessert. One our group got the fried apple pie with ice cream. I'm not a fan of fruit pies, but I did have a nibble of the crust. It was light and crispy. Not heavy, tough and crumbly as I've seen done by others in the mountains. I would almost eat a serving of fried crust dough. Serve with that butter for the sweet potato, and some ice cream-THAT would be awesome. On your way out don't forget to pick up some grits or pancake mix from Logan Mill. It's the only grits I serve at my house.

Today my husband and I went in about 2:00 and there were only a couple of people there. Mallory and Brittany both waited on us. However, the cook was more interested in talking to the customers including his daughter and granddaughter than doing his job. We had already eaten and were waiting on our waffle (which my husband likes to eat last). We waited and waited. The cook finally remembered he had a waffle cooking and, of course, it was burnt when. He went to get it. I watched him throw it away and start another one for us. Then he started showing a young girl his arm. Don't know why, but o very again he forgot about our waffle. I finally told Brittany that it should be ready and we didn't want it to burn again. She sent someone to check on it and when that same cook brought it to us, he said sorry about that. Well it wasn't yet burnt but more done than usual. Everyone working there was new since our last visit which was a shame because we have never had such bad service.
