This is a decent little spot to grab a quick bite to eat for breakfast or lunch. There's nothing fancy about this place and the prices are definitely not reasonable. But it's convenient and quick so it got the job done for me. The pancakes, eggs and bacon I had was mediocre. Everyone in my party agreed that the food was average but filling nonetheless. Another reviewer said it reminded them of hospital food and they're right!! I did get hospital cafeteria vibes while eating here. The restaurant was clean and the workers were all friendly. After placing your order at the counter, they bring the food to your table. Corner Bakery is in a shopping complex so there's plenty of parking!

Seems everything here is extra lemony. Like they just buy lemons wholesale and dump them into everything in their menu. My dad's lemon bundt cake was so lemony he still cannot get that taste out of his mouth. And my tiny cup of chicken orzo soup was lemony tasting as well. I'm surprised that our teas didn't come with a side of lemon. You can love a lemon and I surely do but not to the point that this place apparently does. It's bordering on toxicity level. The price point is absurd as well. And this is coming from a New Yorker. The best thing about this seemingly fancy bakery/cafe spot is that it's extremely spacious and you can chill here a good portion of the day. There are plenty of seats/tables inside and several outside.

    Kids Menu BUT NO CRAYONS!

We came here today for lunch with mediocre expectations for a sandwich and soup lunch after doing some shopping with two kids. What we encountered was rude, smug, and acting annoyed staff that made errors on our order and held up ordering until the line was down the wall. When my wife left due to the ordering fiasco the manager told her she couldn't sit at a table without a number! She was waiting for me!! When we finally were able to order, we realized the kids menu had games to play (see image) so we asked for crayons and they told us they didn't have any - then why even have these kids menus?! I know why... BECAUSE THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO HAVE CRAYONS!! Staff looked at us with dead eyes like we were an inconvenience and bickered in the eating area. You can tell this is not a pleasant place to work. FYI: It's also not a pleasant place to have lunch. Regardless, the place was packed so it's quick access midday is an asset. Food was as expected - mediocre. Want a nice lunch? Just go down Moreland Rd to Panera next time you're thinking about stopping here.

HORRIBLE. Iordered a salad today.Ninety five percent of it was rusty/ brown. Unfortunately, I just stopped here on my way back to work to grab something quick. Will never do it again! My company orders from here often....will also be going to management to ensure this doesn't happen again. DISGUSTING.

Let me start by saying that went I went here years ago (2012 or so?) I LOVED it ! They had a great menu, great deals! They played everything so nice. It was a real value! Slowly the menu changes they got rid of my sandwich and it started inching closer to Panera with their pre packaged chip options and less creative sandwiches. I loved it because it was NOT Panera. I slowly stopped going. Recently I went for one of their deals on Tuesday's and my meal was good! They had more interesting options - I ordered chicken carbonara and a grilled veggie sandwich. The chicken carbonara wasn't super flavorful, but it was good and the sandwich was as well. The lady taking our order was super sweet and patient with us and then the gentleman who brought out our food was very nice. Now I'm sitting at a booth facing the kitchen. All the staff is working hard until I see a guy come from the kitchen so he obviously works at food prep and he reaches into a bin of cheese and just pulls out a handful and eats it. I'm sure there are gross things happening in many kitchens but to be in front of people and just helping yourself to cheese and tossing it in your mouth . You're being unsanitary. That same guy came out later eating a sandwich behind the counter. If you're on your break it's one thing but another to be shoveling food in your mouth behind the counter while others are working and you're visible to customers. Then the nice man who brought out our food was bringing food out to another guest and scratched his armpits. I was then grossed out. With what seemed to be two managers present I'm not entirely sure why they let such issues as these occur. You don't want to see things like that happening by people handling your food.

The food is fine. The portions, however, have gotten smaller over time. Will likely start phasing this place out of my take out rotation.

The space isn't huge but it's very cute ambience with a chandelier of plants cascading the ceiling with simple decor. We both ordered chicken and waffles, the chicken is perfectly fried. Crunchy but not too much or less batter that holds a juicy thigh. The seasoning felt simple but the flavors were anything but. The waffle was big and dense with the outer layer having a subtle crisp that reveals a soft interior. Again, very subtle seasonings, they are not overloading the food with masses of flavoring, these people know how to work around their ingredients and let them shine. The chicken and waffles get a phenomenal 9/10 We also purchased an order of Fish and Grits to share with the lobster sauce on the side as I have a slight shellfish allergy and the waitress insisted on putting it in the side even though I told her it was ok (I appreciate the consideration). I rarely order this type of meal but man do I not regret it at all. I'm not even sure what kind of fish I consumed but it was so perfectly fried with the gentlest breading that complemented the perfectly cooked fish. Again the seasonings are subtle, it's not really the boldest of flavors, it just tasted good. The grits were savory while not being overwhelming when combining the fish which ended up being very satisfying bite. The Fish And Grits gets an amazing 9.5/10 I will be coming back, I'd like to try more of what they offer. These people are masters of frying things to perfection while retaining the core flavors of the protein. The staff was friendly and you can feel the soul they breathe into the place. I highly recommend giving them a chance.

I would appreciate a little bit more brightness/acidity, like maybe some lemon wedges or capers, but that's a really minor note and I'm sure not everyone would agree.

I ordered breakfast: the Farmhouse Hash and added Million Dollar Bacon, spinach, and mushrooms (the spinach and mushrooms were extra). The hash already comes with roasted peppers, onions, tomatoes, and avocado as well. Flavor wise, it wasn't bad at all. I didn't even need salt or pepper, and my over-easy egg was cooked perfectly. Now here's the part that knocked it down a bit for me.The spinach and mushrooms I paid extra for were barely there. I'm talking a literal dab I could pick it up in one small piece. If you're charging extra, it should feel like extra. The food also came out kind of warm instead of hot, which makes a difference for a hash dish. Of course, I had to get the Purple Haze drink that's always a win. I actually recreate it at home because I love it that much. Overall, it's good. Not amazing, but definitely doable. Solid option if you're in the mood, just don't expect generous add-ons.
