Rotten Caesar Salad - The image shows a black surface with two small containers of salad dressing at the top, a plastic tray of chopped lettuce on the left, and numerous torn lettuce leaves spread across the surface. The lettuce appears to be used or damaged, with some pieces showing signs of wilting or browning.

We usually go to the Corner Bakery on Sunland, but decided to give their new Cimarron location a try. I understand how it takes a little while to get all of the glitches sorted out, but what happened to me didn't qualify as a glitch, more like a "screw you!" I ordered a Caesar Salad and when it arrived it was nothing more than lettuce and croutons. When I gave it a good look, the lettuce was old, wilted and some was even rotten! The Manager showed an attitude and had the salad replaced for me to take home. This second effort was even more disgusting than the first. So... beware the Caesar Salad if you dine at the Corner Bakery on Cimarron!

Entrance - A group of seven people, including four children and three adults, pose for a selfie outside Corner Bakery Cafe. The young man in the foreground holds the camera, capturing the group smiling and dressed in business casual attire. The background shows the bakery's entrance with glass doors and a sign indicating the business name. The setting appears to be in a parking lot with cars and trees visible in the distance.

Love the Corner bakery. This time we went for dinner. It was delicious. I had the Shrimp pasta. Very fast service and a nice casual friendly family environment

Rustic Italian panini and ancient grains - A grilled panini sandwich with ham and melted cheese is presented on a white plate, with visible grill marks on the bread. Next to it is a small bowl filled with a quinoa salad containing mixed grains and possibly chickpeas. The setting appears to be a casual dining environment, with a white table surface and napkins in the background.

The corner bakery chain has reliable, tasty food, a great atmosphere comfortable setting, great bakery treats and fabulous coffee. They even have outdoor seating where you can bring your dog . This particular store opens up close to my home so I had to check it out. The food was top-notch as usual. The coffee was super. I'm so glad it's here in the neighborhood.

BBLT & Egg Sandwich - A person holds a breakfast sandwich featuring scrambled eggs, bacon, tomato slices, and lettuce between slices of toasted bread. The sandwich is partially assembled, with some ingredients visible. The background shows a plastic food container with more sandwich components and a wooden dashboard, indicating the setting is inside a vehicle, likely during a meal or snack break.

Plus we love supporting local businesses. Immediately we were greeted and the woman answered our questions. We prefer the Green chili burger and the smash burger with an appetizer of onion rings. They brought everyone out at once- it was hot, gooey, juicy and amazing. The onion rings had the perfect crunch and were delicious. The green chili burger had a slight spice but not hot, just flavorful. I ordered the smash burger and the amount of meat on that burger was astounding. While the store front itself is a bit bare and could use some sprucing up to make it more fun or stand out, it was by far the cleanest restaurant I have ever stepped foot in. This place is wiped down after every guest very well (not just a quick wipe down but very clean) even the bathroom was extremely clean. Over all great food, quick service, clean place to eat. Would recommend but mostly for the burgers, everything else is just icing on the cake.

I don't play pickle ball so it was enough to be able to sit by the restaurant my only grip is at the service is so slow even when it's not that busy I recommend if you get there just open a tab at the bar and order your own drinks and food.

I'll admit, I always thought pickleball was just some weird trendy thing for people who don't like real cardio. But I was wrong. This place is way more than just courts. It's a full-on experience. Parking was a little tight -- not because it's shared with The Shack, but because both places were packed. Expect it to be busy during peak hours. Once inside, it felt like a mix between a social club and a backyard party. There was a life-size Battleship board, ping pong, cornhole, Jenga, Connect Four, and a big shaded turf area where families were lounging and just enjoying the evening. Every age group was there -- toddlers, teens, couples, older folks -- and it all just worked. There are two bar areas, indoor and outdoor, plus a bunch of casual seating scattered around. You could honestly just show up, grab a drink, and let your kids run around while you chill and enjoy the breeze. The best part? A lot of it was totally free to access. You don't need to rent anything to hang out, which is kind of brilliant. We didn't get to play pickleball because the courts were fully booked (rookie mistake), so definitely download the app ahead of time and reserve. The courts looked fantastic -- super clean and well-lit. Big shoutout to our server Matias -- even with a full house, he was attentive and kind. Great service makes all the difference, and the staff here nailed it. Serve gave me major Denver or Dallas energy -- the kind of spot you'd expect to find in a bigger city -- but it still felt very El Paso. The food and drinks were great, and the people were even better. This isn't some screen-filled arcade or one-note gym. It's a relaxed, high-quality hangout space where you can be active or just soak up the vibe. I didn't even realize there's also a Fuel Bar, Recovery Lounge, and gear shop -- definitely planning to check those out next time. My family already wants to go back, and so do I. Limited parking is the only minor downside, but it's worth it. This is the kind of venue El Paso needed -- local, thoughtful, and really well-executed. Highly recommend checking it out. I'll be back for sure.

Honestly, I thought it was just a drinking spot, so I never bothered to step inside. Big mistake. I first tried their beer at the Greek Festival (the Greek brew was so good!) and knew I had to give them another shot. When I finally came in, I was pleasantly surprised. Even with The Shack Wings & Brews across the street, Aurellia stands out because they actually brew their own beers -- and they're fantastic. I don't drink much, but I tried a light one on the manager's recommendation and ended up sharing it with my friend. Smooth, refreshing, and plenty of variety on tap. For food, I went with the Bavarian Forest Burger -- wildberry bacon jam, arugula, Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, beer mustard, all stacked on a toasted potato bun. I wish added hickory bacon and an egg, and loved the options. The burger came out cooked medium (they only do one level of doneness), but it was juicy, flavorful, and held together perfectly with the bun. My friend isn't a fan of pink, so she struggled a bit with her cheeseburger, but honestly, mine was one of the best burgers I've had in El Paso. Filling, rich, and worth every bite. The service really stood out. Everyone -- from the manager to the staff -- pitched in, helping each other out, cleaning tables, and jumping in when needed. It's a smaller space, and it can get busy and loud, but they kept everything running smoothly. I loved that team atmosphere. Bonus: They even had a lunch special with a discount if you pair a house beer with your meal -- a nice surprise. The outdoor patio has both shaded and sunny spots, which is perfect for El Paso weather. My only real complaint? Parking can be a bit tricky. All in all, Aurellia's is a true local gem. I regret not discovering it sooner, but now I can't wait to come back -- next time with my husband. Don't sleep on this place. If you're looking for great food, house-brewed beer, and a warm local vibe, this is it. 1620 N Resler Dr, El Paso, TX 79911
