    Chicken & Dumplings

Even though we live closeby for almost a year we'd never been to Corner 16. We decided to go there for dinner last night and we were blown away with the quality of our food and the service was great! Our server was Craig and he was very knowledgeable and helpful (also patient) when we asked about some choices on their menu. The general manager Ted came by and introduced himself and inquired about our meal. Ted and Craig made us feel welcomed and wanted to make certain we had a positive dining experience. We did and we will be back often! Thanks guys! PS The chicken and dumplings and the tomato pie was super good.!

Corner 16 is off my list of restaurants that I recommend. Had some people in town for the game Saturday and took them for dinner after the game. They had never been to a Corner 16 restaurant. I told the waiter when we sat down that I wanted the check for the whole table. The waiter allowed my guest to pay at the register behind my back. Dear Copper Cellar family of restaurants, learn to know your customer and you should have listened to the customer clad in orange and white and not the one wearing crimson. I'm guessing the tab for dinner was about $200 for the table. Good luck getting that again next year, because Alabama won't be in town. In the mean time, you pissed off a loyal customer who has always recommended the Copper Cellar family of restaurants. It isn't a lot of money to you. I probably only spend about $5,000 a year with your chain, but I am done. I will still take lunch at Chesapeake's West because I know the bartender, Suzy Cole, will follow my requests and treat me well when I am there. Meanwhile, Corner 16, which is only a mile from my house, you will lose out the most. I hope the corporate office gives you some training sessions on identifying your client base. VOL FAN FOR LIFE, former Copper Cellar customer.

I got the single boneless wings with thunder road sauce. My fries had extra cheese and bacon on them. 4/5

Corner 16 is a gem! This is my third time going but my first review. The food, service, and ambiance of this restaurant is great. They also have a beautiful indoor/outdoor space perfect for the summer time and heated and cozy during the winter. We will be back soon for more good eats.

    Seared Ahi Salad

Stopped here on our drive back home and had a wonderful lunch. Our waitress, Sami, was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Seared Ahi Salad. The tuna was delightfully spiced and seared. The salad was very fresh. My wife ordered the meatloaf with blue cheese slaw. The slaw was creative and just amazing. This is definitely becoming a go to place for us.

The best onion rings you will ever taste
    David C.

I have been a lover of onion rings for the past 50 plus years, but I've never found onion rings quite like these in both substance and taste. Corner I6 onion rings are indeed, hands down, positively, absolutely, unequivocally, unquestionably, unreservedly the best I have ever tasted!!!! These are not your run-of-the-mill oily or greasy kind. They are not the kind where you take the first bite and the entire onion slips out of the ring, leaving you with nothing more than a breaded ring in your hand. They are delicately breaded in a wonderful battered mixture of spices that is guaranteed to tantalize even the blandest palate. I could go on and on in my description, but you get the picture. To complement my onion rings I ordered the Wedge Salad which also belongs in a premier category all its own. The serving size is at least a third of a head of lettuce with outrageously tasty bleu cheese dressing and bleu cheese crumbles topped with delicious bacon pieces. Micaela was our server who was pleasant and attentive throughout our meal. She is a positive asset to this restaurant.

First visit to this location. We were seated right away outside since it was a beautiful night. Service was quick to see us and took drink order then on to dinner. I decided to try the turkey and dressing with a side of cream corn. The dinner was great and loved the cream corn. The outside area is unique with a large pavilion area in the middle with roof and garage type doors that can be closed if it rains or cold. Three sides are extra tables and play areas for adults and kids. Corn-hole boards set up in two of the areas. Also have a couple of fire pits outside. Inside is very nice. Great place to bring friends or family when in the area. Also good if you have younger kids cause you can turn them loose outside in their area. We will be regulars here.

    Side of macaroni

Went with a big group for a friend's birthday party. We got there and everyone else was already seated. The hostesses had no idea if our party was there and were like "just look around". We found everyone outside. Ordered our beverages after about 15 minutes and ordered some appetizers shortly after. The rest of the group had ordered appetizers prior to us getting there and those still took a good while. They were delicious (the fried green tomatoes were good, stuffed jalapeños, cheese and sausage appetizer and the loaded tots) and I ordered an avocado awesome burger not realizing it was a veggie burger. It was underwhelming when it arrived. 3 tiny slivers of avocado and giant pieces of onion not even fitting into the bun. I even tried to fix the onion before I took a picture of it and it still looked sad. It would probably have tasted better if it was hot and not mildly warm with congealed pepper Jack cheese on it. The macaroni looked like it was stacked on top of another and flat on the top and pretty cold too. Fortunately my kids were too busy playing outside with the big exercise balls and some other kids that were there so they didn't notice it was squished and cold. (I tried to mix it up a bit so in the picture the flat part on the left is what it all looked like when it arrived at our table.) Overall, the appetizers were good. My dinner was mediocre so I am giving 4 stars (rounded up from 3.5) for the benefit of the doubt since we had a large party. If it was just us and my food took that long and my meal was so mediocre I would give it 3 stars. Even though I don't eat much meat and usually like vegetarian options, I would definitely not order the "awesome burger" again.

All I can remember is the onion rings are thin and not circles; more like strings. They have a light crispy coating. They are delicious!

I decided beforehand because I am someone who studies menus, that we would get the pork belly tostadas. I am so glad I stuck to that, it has so much flavor in every bite. I was not disappointed. While I was waiting for my main entree, I was wanting more. I ordered the same braised short rib gnocchi. I was so impressed the first time I decided to get it again. My man got the bolognese pappardelle and added the extra sauce for 4$ and they were both delicious. You could tell the pasta was made from scratch. Each bite was so savory. I was praising them. When we ordered dessert he ordered lemon ice cream which was too much for me but he likes and the chocolate crème brûlée was amazing. I make my own and I was so impressed. I was raving about it after the entire thing was done. Even the 7$ old fashion did it. Nate the great was our server and he was attentive and had everything we could ever want and informed us and also guided. I will come back a million times again. They literally have every fast food and chain dining experience on one block, but I didn't know that at the time but I'm tired of road trip Food so wanted to sit down for a good meal! Pulling into the parking lot and I was overwhelmed because it was huge and very crowded! We go to the desk and they tell us 25 minutes. This place was huge and very accommodating, they were getting people to their tables fast! We noticed two empty seats at the bar, so we opted to take them and had the pleasure of being served by Robert. He was attentive, made sure our waters were always full. He gave recommendations on his favorite dishes and was all around a great bartender! The guy working the other end of the bar was equally as professional. The ambience is a dark cool vibe, little trendy but people were dressed pretty casually! Answer the most important thing...The food! For an app, we got the beer, cheese fondue that came with apples, bread and pretzels. The beer cheese had a little bit of ooomph to it, which was refreshing because usually I'm not a big mustard person. The pretzel bites were incredible crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The apples were fresh all around the appetizer for 3 to 4 people so we took extra home. I ordered the 10 ounce sirloin cooked, medium with the web sweet potatoes and a side Caesar salad for a three dollar charge which ended up being a full-size salad! It was super fresh and gigantic for a side salad. The steak was cooked perfectly, in the middle with an insane sear. Their house, butter that they put on it truly elevated the flavor profile. I tried the sweet potatoes mashed and they were enjoyable, but I do not enjoy a sweet side with my food so I knew I was going to donate them to my husband and he said they were incredible, the flavor was definitely there just not my cup of tea, but I knew that from the beginning . He got the Caesar salad with grilled chicken! It had so much flavor and tastes incredible but yet melted in your mouth it was the most tender chicken I've ever had in my life, and the flavor was all there! Not even the slightest bit of any kind of dryness. One of the best bites of chicken I've ever had.! He ordered the bison meatloaf to go, and that comes with caramelized mashed potatoes and fried onion straws.... It smells incredible and I will update when we try it . * UPDATE: best meatloaf ever!!! Based on the quality/ experience on a very busy night- everything was phenomenal and I will return. Service 10/5 Food 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Value 5/5
