I am a huge corn dog fan. And I love a good cheese corn dog. We go to Cedar Point and they have the best cheese on a stick. I also love to go to H Mart and they their cheese dogs. This place has a cheddar corn dog so I needed to try it. My family said it tasted like a grilled cheese sandwich on a stick. It was gooey and perfectly fried. It came with a cutie or baked chips. I prefer the baked chips over the regular, so this was a nice surprise! We had to get two cheese dogs since they are our favorites. There were not quite at good as Cedar Point, if you try theirs in Ohio, you will thank me. Also not as good at the corn dog cart in Downtown Disney, that was was absolutely amazing, but I would sure visit this spot again. You can never have enough cheesy goodness and this place gives you your fill. read more

If I disappear in CA park, you can find me at Corn Dog Castle! This is one of my favorite food stops when in Disney, a classic! 30 pumps of mustard and 5 pumps of ketchup is how we do it! Sit under Goofy's Sky School eat a corn dog and laugh at all the screams from true ride. Service is fast and offers walk up or mobile orders. Chips or a cutie with each order. The only picture I have is my souvenir mustard package I had in my pocket! Corn dogs are too good to wait around for pictures! read more

OMG Corn Dog at Disneyland is like crack!!! The original corn dog at the little red wagon was so good but it doesn't compare with the Hot Links version at the Corn Dog Castle in Cali Adventure!!! That little bit of spice goes a long way! And that batter on the corn dog is just amazing!!! The hot links version might be alittle too spicy for the little ones tho.... read more

Ordered through the mobile app for another person and the person went to the wrong location for the corn dog and told the cast member and have video documentation of going to the wrong place and was still refused a refund for the over priced corndog that we did not receive. I just won't buy food any longer for anyone at the parks anymore. read more

A really great corn dog! This isn't the usual ones you see in the stores in the frozen aisle. This is a really delicious corn dog. I just had the regular one so I could see just how they are without any cheese or added things. This corn dog does not disappoint. The batter is tasty and not too sweet nor to bland. It's also the right consistency in ratio with the batter. The hot dog in there was also tasty. My meal came with chips, which is just regular Lay's potato chips. The corn dog had the right amount of crunch on the outside with the softer dough texture on the inside. And it was served piping hot! I can't compare with other carts because I only tried this one so far. But it has been very good. There was a bit of a line to order when walking up. I saved some time by ordering via the Disneyland app and it shortened the amount of time if I had to stand in line, pay then wait for my order. Highly recommended to use the app to order. read more

For about $10, you get a giant sausage corn dog. There's a self serve condiment station so you can add all your toppings. The sausage was delicious. It was juicy and filling. I just didn't like how they kind of overcooked the breading on the outside. It was a little too much on the dark brown side so it tasted kind of burnt. I wouldn't come here again but it's worth a try! read more

When it comes to corn dogs, I like them big, thick, and juicy. This place offers all of the above, and more! The corn dog competition in California is definitely getting fierce and picking up steam. The Little Red Wagon is the usual go to inside of Disneyland, but I believe this place has it beat. The Corn Dog Castle team brought their A-game today, and it will be hard to top the deliciousness I had here. The Corn Dog Castle opened at 10:30AM today (Saturday), and I arrived about 5 minutes early. I was lucky enough to be the first in line. I was hungry. The line quickly formed, reaching upwards of 20 people at the opening bell. This place is popular! I was stoked to see what they had in store. I ordered the original corn dog, priced at $8.79. I turned down the apple slices side, and to my surprise, the total went down to $7 and some change. Not a bad deal for a gourmet corn dog. It was breaded to perfection, and the meat inside was hot and juicy. Very tender and flavorful. If looking for a good corn dog, this spot should definitely be on your radar. I'm happy to report that the Corn Dog Castle is indeed the real deal. Worthy of its hype, no doubt. My corn dog was super fresh and delicious. Go ahead and give it a try for yourself! I personally prefer this over to the cart in Disneyland! This place offers a cheese alternative and polish sausage. I prefer the polish sausage corn dog because it's spicier. The batter tends to be thinner than the batter in Disneyland. read more

Whenever I go to amusement parks, fairs, or festivals, I crave for deep-fried foods. I didn't just want a hot dog in a bun. I wanted a hot dog, battered then deep-fried. I got a corn dog with regular hot dog, however they do offer other hot links. I also had a choice between a side of fruit or chips, and I definitely went with Lay's. The corn dog was a bit heavy, since it had a thick batter. But oh my, it was crunchy! It seemed more than just a snack, it felt like I had a meal. I was filled up and satisfied. I recommend California Adventure's corn dogs, they will not disappoint! read more

As far as breakfast goes in DCA, the sausage and egg corn dog with a mandarin has to be one of the best options. It's a bit small for $10, just over half the length of a normal corn dog but has more girth. I still plan on making up for it with an early lunch. read more

We came here during Pixarfest with one goal in mind: to eat our way through the Pixarfest menu! Item at hand: Three-Flavored Corn Dog So when I read the description I thought it was going to be a hot link sausage and a cajun chicken sausage would both be wrapped in cheese then battered then fried to become the three-flavored corn dog. Nope, it's actually in three "sections" with the cajun chicken sausage first, then the pepper jack cheese, and lastly the hot link in that order all on one stick. Sounds weird? It kinda was (mostly the blob of straight cheese was weird) but it did not take away from the flavor of the whole thing. I guess each part was allowed to stand on its own and they all tasted great with the batter. The blackberry serrano chile sauce was more sweet than spicy but it complimented the spice of the two sausages well. All in all, I still wished the cheese was melted around the sausages because then you'd get a bite of the batter, cheese, and meat all in one but for the price and the size this one was definitely a bang for your buck! read more

Sooo, the Hubs & I decided to give this place a go for a quick bite to eat before lining up for our spot to watch World of Color. Located to the right (when facing the 'lake') of the Pier games, the line wasn't long at all. Expect to pay $8 for a regular corndog, but at least it " cometh with apple slices or a bag of chips". Or....you could be daring & pay slightly more to try the hot link corndog like we did! As I'm sitting in our spot actually waiting for the show to begin, I felt I HAD to write this one up immediately. That hot link corndog was a big size & tastes phenomenal!! As we took our first bites, I had completely forgotten we opted for the hot link but recalled so once I began tasting the flight peppery flavor as we chowed down. The outside was a nice crispness yet soft corn breading. Link was juicy & peppery but not spicy/hot. Very mild. But oh so yummy! It was so good, I forgot to take my pic! Hubs commented it may be the best corndog he's ever had!! I'd eat it again, that's for sure. If in Disney's California Adventure park & looking for a quick & decent eat, give this place a try. I just love Corn Dog Castle! Located in Disney California Adventure, this yummy restaurant is a true Disney staple. Serving hot and delicious corn dogs and other fried treats, you can't go wrong. Pricey yes, but well worth it. Your corn dog or cheese stick is fried to perfection and served with either chips or apple slices. Lines can be quite long, but with Disney's recent addition of mobile order, you can bypass the line and pick up your lunch at your convenience. On a side note, and probably not a very popular statement, but I think Corn Dog Castle has better corn dogs than the Red Cart at Disneyland. read more

This is a particular favorite must stop place for myself at least once a trip. This is one of the best corn dogs I have ever had. And, it's always good and consistent. It's definitely got the Disney quality too. Yes it's a bit pricey but it's so worth it. Yes it's simple but it works perfectly. Get your dog with chips or apple slices. Either work. The only thing you may run into is a long line on an occasion or, finding a table to sit at to eat. I mean the table is definitely not the most important part. It's all about the delicious corn dog. The have 3 choices. The regular dog, a spicy dog and, a cheese stick. All are deep fried and absolutely delicious! Make sure you get enough ketchup or mustard for your dog too. It definitely is part of the experience if you want it just right! Enjoy! read more

Corn dog is definitely a classic you should get if you're ever at Disneyland or California Adventure. Slightly crispy on the outside and nice and doughy on the inside. Hot link - recommend. Your standard corn dog and great for sharing. It's very big! Cheese stick - good. Great if you like pepper check and wanted something on the sweeter side. Spicy pepper jack cheese stick (available 9/6-10/31). It's a pepper jack stick of cheese dipped in a thick layer of fairly-sweet corn batter and then topped with blackberry sauce, pineapple salsa, pickled serranos (not too spicy) and crushed cheetos. The interior cheese itself is not spicy at all, it's a very mild Jack - the only spicy was in the serranos (and maybe the salsa? hard to discern since it was sweet). Without knowing the price I would say 4/5 but with the price 3/5. I am a fake-vegetarian in that I don't eat pork or beer so I always wanted to try this little stand that's an homage to the boardwalks of SoCal with it's cheesy medieval facade. With my AP discount it still seemed a little bit like a ripoff since it was smaller than the corndog, cheaper ingredients (i.e. no meat) and had more batter. One plus, however, was that they have mobile ordeirng which is SO fast - I was standing in line, realized they had mobile ordering, ordered my food, pushed the "I am here, make my food" button and then it was ready in 1 minute. Don't stand in line like a sucker - use the mobile app to order this, since it's so fast you don't have to do it way ahead of time and select an ordering window - order right when you arrive. Once I had my food I popped over to the beer garden to eat my snack because seating is so limited around Corn Dog Castle and it was just in time to see the Mariachis for Dia de Los Muertos! Worked out really nicely - the beer garden is adorable with the Coco decor so the experience was probably worth my $9 :) read more

I'm not really sure what all the fuss is about here at the Corn Dog Castle. Hubby and I have snacked here a few times, mostly out of a craving for a corn dog (read: any corn dog) rather than "I'm hungry, I choose to eat here." It's a squarely A-OK corn dog. Doesn't win beauty contests, but mostly looks like a corn dog, tastes like a corn dog and it's alright. I feel like the hot dog could be better quality and sometimes the batter tastes a little undercooked inside but...it's ok! Certainly not the best Disney has to offer in terms of food by a stretch but if you're a corn dog fan (you generally like all corn dogs), I suppose you shouldn't have a problem with these. If you're a corn dog connoisseur (picky about corn dogs), however, you might not think this is the best. Personally, I prefer the cheese on a stick but you just have to find the right temp to eat it so that on the one hand, it's not giving you 3rd degree mouth burns but, on the other hand, it's not cold and hardened and not tasty anymore. read more

This place has one of the best hand-dipped corn dogs. It's hard to decide which is better, "Little Red Wagon" in Disneyland or "Corn Dog Castle" in Disney California. You can also order a hot-link corn dog or cheddar cheese stick at this location. The cheese isn't always melted all the way so I no longer order it. The corn dog is the best choice with ketchup and yellow mustard. read more

Anything taste good when you're on your feet for over five hours. There really is no wait time as your order is ready for pick up once you pay. I ordered the original hot dog with a bag of sliced apples. (~$9 with AP discount) Apples were warm and was one minute away from turning brown. The corn dog was tasty - well fried and thin batter. The dog itself was a little too salty for my taste and I kept thinking how delicious it would be if it was swapped with the Costco polish dog. read more

Who doesn't love a good corn dog??? And Disney sure knows how to make them! Unlike the corndog cart at Disneyland, corndog castle at CA Adventure offers to other types: hot link corndog and cheese dog. I've had all three and I am a fan of them all. The original corn dog is hearty and sweet. The hot link corn dog is larger, spicy, and sweet. The cheese dog is the smallest, but is filled with melty cheddar cheese. All three come with either chips (lays) or apple slices. I say the best pairing is the cheese dog with apple slices :) Used to be under $8, but now it's under $9. Still a good find in a park that has many more pricier options. read more

I'm an annual pass holder and this is honestly my favorite food place in Disneyland and California Adventure bc it's the only place you can get their hot-link corn dog. Don't waste your money at the Stage Door Cafe's mediocre ones...and skip he crazy line at the Little Red Wagon (equally good regular corn dogs). I have dreams of this hot-link corn dog. I visit the park just to get this corn dog. The regular corn dogs are bomb here too... but whyyy settle for basic when you can upgrade to this beautiful (not overly) spicy fried masterpiece. The hot link corn dog was so delicious. Still thinking about it. One is enough for two people! Only thing that could make it better is if they sold fries as a side instead of chips or mandarins. We gave the chips away because it was insulting to that delicious, delicious corn dog. Good value also for that huge corn dog! The corn dogs here are good. And it's all due to the batter-- the butteriness,the crunch, the sweet taste of corn meal...yum! There's seating in the area and it's generally pretty clean. Cheddar Cheese Stick - The cheese was melty, but I wish it was a little more melty. Beware, this thing is heavy, both in actual weight and feeling. Hot Link Corn dog - These seem a tad bigger than regular corn dogs! They're not terribly spicy and are more interesting than the regular corn dogs. This is a must for me each and every visit! read more

This is located inside California Adventure, near Goofy's Sky School and Golden Zephyr. I usually go to the Little Red Wagon inside Disneyland when craving corn dogs (or cheap eats), but I wanted to try the spicy pepper jack cheese stick that's listed on the Halloween food guide (9/6-10/31 this year). It's $9.99 with a bag of chips or apple slices, and topped with blackberry sauce, sweet pineapple salsa, pickled serranos and crushed cheese puffs. I also got the original corn dog ($9.79) so hubby and I can share both :) They also serve hot link corn dogs, cheddar cheese dogs, and various beverages. AP discounts apply. To be honest, I wasn't really wowed by this special cheese stick. It was smaller than expected and the ratio between the cheese and batter is pretty disproportionate, which I guess shouldn't be surprising inside an amusement park...but I guess I subconsciously had higher expectations, lol. It also wasn't spicy at all, or maybe the slightly sweet blackberry sauce toned it down so it didn't taste spicy. The corn dog was good, nothing out of the ordinary. Although this seasonal eats was just okay, I'm still glad to have tried it as it's always fun to check it off the food guide across both parks (the food guide can be picked up at the park entrance or downloaded from their website). And with all that batter, it's pretty filling so it's a great cheaper option. Seating is a bit limited; there's some tables, but they're usually filled. We sat on one of the planters along with other people. read more

Yep. The best corn dogs, ported from the cart in Disneyland. Yes, it deserves a whole castle. And I want to be king. Awesomely fried corn dogs, not a lot of side variety - only apples or plain Lay's chips. But, done and done well. So good. Cheese dog (basically breaded, deep fried cheese) is also good, though the breading / cheese ratio seemed a bit light on the cheese. Need one of these places in my kitchen. And then a treadmill. read more

Dang, disneyland corn dogs just can't be beat. They are firstly GINORMOUS and very filling! Second, the crunch on the breading is amazing and there's the perfect amount to surround the glorious weenie inside. I got the hot link corn dog (as recommended by my lovely cashier) and was so happy with this choice. The hot link was the perfect level of spiciness, adding just a little kick to the normal corn dog. Out of all places where I can grab a bite to eat in Disney's California Adventure the Corn Dog Castle is among my favorites. The menu is as simplistic as it gets with the option of an original corn dog, a hot link corn dog or cheese on a stick. Think Hot Dog On A Stick but done better and with a perfectly crispy corn dog batter on any of the choices. Each weiner comes with a bag of chips or sliced apples. The prices here are a bit steep at around $7-9 for a dog but the dogs themselves are quite large and always cooked to perfection. For two people you can easily expect to spend over $20 for 2 dogs and a shared drink so be sure to use your pass discount if you have one. This place can oftentimes get a little busy but for a quick bite its definitely worth the wait and nearby to the boardwalk area which puts you close to several nearby attractions. I am a big fan of this place and hope to continue eating here many times to come. The hot link corn dog is definitely an awesome snack to check out read more

The best dining at DCA for sure! I'd much rather pay for 2 of these spicy corndogs than dine at the underwhelming restaurants near by. Why? following reasons: 1) most of the higher end experiences require at least 60 day ahead booking and waking up at wee hours to fight other families online for a spot only to load into a slot that is hardly a proper meal eating time, (cough 330pm for dinner..) 2) menu prices will cost more than you can typically afford for fine dining only the food is much much subpar. 3) you get charged for missing your booking, so if you get stuck in line on a ride that didn't have accurate wait times, you are thrown asunder to choose to stick it out since you're so close to the front or ditch your place in line and hurry over to the restaurant to check in. 4) most of the restaurants have also limited their menus since before COVID days. therefore, DCA's corndog castle is the best dining pick and mobile ordering makes it so seamless! read more

It's no wonder I crave these corn dogs whenever I'm at Disneyland Resort (Little Red Wagon at Disneyland, Corn Dog Castle at Disney CA Adventure)! If you want extra or different toppings such as jalapenos, bacon bits, etc, it will be an extra fee. For a normal sized hot dog with a decent amount of pastrami (not too salty, thank goodness) with the toppings that already come with it and a diet Coke, it was around $20. Yes, I get that food trucks are sometimes pricier and being at an event increases that amount too, but for that cost and the taste. The value just doesn't add up.
