My server was very helpful, friendly, and attentive. For the food, I ordered the Hobo Skillet, which contains ham, bacon, sausage, onion, bell pepper, mushroom, tomato, and ortega chile and cheese. It was brought out fresh and hot! The portion size was also huge. I thought the skillet tasted great as well, the ingredients go great together, but it did start to get just a little bit salty. I also ordered potato salad on the side. This one tasted a little bland for me, but nonetheless I still enjoyed my food. My little cousin ordered the grilled ham and cheese and he enjoyed that as well! The ambience is pretty noisy and crowded. It's just a popular restaurant so they are usually busy. This is a must place to go when in Perris, CA. First, the service is awesome. The wait staff help each other with everything. Once you place your order, you have multiple people making sure you have everything that you need. The atmosphere is very lively, especially for a morning. The place is packed. We had to wait, but not for long considering we had a party of 11. Everyone is so friendly. The food was delicious. Everything. And the portions were more than plentiful. It's difficult to keep a party of 11 quiet. Great food will do it. And to top things off, the desserts were excellent. We ordered cookies to go because we ate more than enough. Corky's is setup to be an old style bakery and dinner. It gives off a country casual vibe. Think Bob Evans, Village Inn, Coco's Bakery, Perkins or Bakers Square. It's what the industry calls Family Style Casual Dining and boy, do they serve a lot of food for a moderate price. We came here after buying a bunch of plants at Home Depot, which is across the parking lot. By three o'clock, the Lunch crowd had already cleared out. And our server Nichole stayed on top of things, even though the kitchen was slow. After ordering some iced teas, Nichole took our order of a Chicken Pot Pie ($16.99) and a double Bacon Mushroom Swiss burger ($17.69) with String Onions. The Pot Pie was clearly made fresh and took the most time. Both were tasty and seemed huge, compared to other casual restaurants. My burger had a Parmesan crust on the sourdough bread. Delicious. I like the place, I go to Corey's every month and I go to more than this location, but I'm feeling a bit unhappy. I chose "crispy" hash browns with my breakfast choice. (Usually order the home fried potato choice) It came to me almost wet, not once, but three times. I did not eat it. One bite was like a stale canola oil, yuk. Jacque, our waitress is the best in the business. She corrected an issue with my breakfast without having to call the manager or making a big deal out of the problem. The issue was with my Pork Chili Verde Omelet. A $16 omelet was served with 4 pieces of pork. So basically it was a cheese omelet with chili verde sauce. I explained the issue to Jacque and she immediately said one moment and came back with a bowl of pork in the sauce. That's awesome customer service. I was at corkeys trying to have brunch and the table of 10 next to me had 2 wildl children. Running around, screaming and yelling, and the parents were not doing anything to stop it. The kids were throwing their toys everywhere. The waitress even had to pick up the toys (a 3foot Spiderman plush) and give them back to the parents because they were ignoring the children. They ended up sitting the kids off to the side of the table right next to me because we shared a bench and the kids now had me blocked in.....then one of the kids screamed bloody murder and everyone in the place turned and stared as the family contiued their conversation as if nothing had happened. At some point the waitress who witnessed all this should have had the manager come over to address this horrible disruption so that we wouldn't have to. I said "hey... do you hear this screaming, can you please do something" to the table of adults to which they of course start attacking me instead of simply telling the kids to be behave or paying any attention to their kids which is of course the whole problem to begin with. The couple at the table across from me who were also annoyed by this family ended up leaving right then and there food hadn't even arrived yet.. I asked the waitress to get the manager because this family was now threatening me and I had no way to get out because their children and their toys had me completely blocked in. The waitress gave me a dirty look and did not get the manager. I asked again when the family was leaving and she again ignored me. I asked someone else to get the manager. When the manager came over I told her what her waitress allowed, witnessed, and refused to report to her.... if the parents did their job this wouldn't have happened but the waitress should have notified the manager so she could handle it. Bottom line is corkeys doesn't care about certain people making your dinning experience aweful. They watch as other people curse you out and threaten you with bodily harm as multiple tables flee without paying and don't care that they are loosing business over something as simple as telling a table to keep their kids sat, don't throw toys, and please don't just let them scream at the top of their lungs for attention while they ignore the children. Corkeys do better. No one should have that experience in a restraunt if you require your patrons to act civil in public. Apparently you don't care about your patrons safety nor their enjoyment. Stay away. The manager is a feble old woman who runs around with a blank expression on her face all the time like a deer in headlights. She is completely unaware of her surroundings and doesn't care.... she does not belong in that position. She constantly looks like she doesn't know where she is, running around panicked and confused... always!!!! I used to eat here three time a week. Now I'll never go back. read more

What ruined the experience for us was the non-stop yelling and nagging of the old lady with gray hair and glasses in a black shirt who continually yelled at the servers and cooks behind the counter throughout our entire meal (we were seated at a table right in front of that area). OK, soooo, decided to place a SMALL 1-item breakfast phone order of the Country Skillet, which is great 90% of the time. Today however, I simply called to check the approximate wait time & SPECIFICALLY ASKED "is there a LONG wait time for a small To-Go order?" The young lady replied with "no, we're not busy AT ALL, it'll just be the regular 10-15 minutes!" Soooo, I told her I would just call back when I was closer (in about 10 minutes.) Yayyyy, right??!!! ***WRONG.*** I actually called back in FIVE MINUTES, (you know...to INSURE the food was actually ready when I arrived) since I was driving from Temecula & preparing to PICK UP HUBBY for a little Saturday drive there, PASS MY HOUSE & total ETA was 15 minutes... 2nd CALL 5 minutes later: I was IMMEDIATELY placed on hold & to my surprise, NOBODY came back to the phone after 5+ minutes. Hmmm, that's weird, right? So, I hung up & called again, thinking they may have forgotten there was a call holding.........(at this point I exited the freeway & started heading home, because obviously, the wait would be longer now.) -_- 3rd Call seconds later: I was AGAIN immediately put on hold (FOR OVER 6 MINUTES, see pic!) Then, a voice magically appeared with a "how can I help you?" WHAT?!!! I'M ALREADY HOME & COOKING MY OWN BREAKFAST NOW! Absolutely horrible customer service!!! It would've been acceptable if just saying "I'm sorry, there are 10 To-Go callers ahead of you, can you continue to hold for another 5 minutes?" or... "5 parties of 10 just happened to walk in while you were holding for the past 11 minutes." Or, "sorry, I was packaging the Perris Easter Bunny's order of 200 boiled Easter Eggs for the past 11 minutes." Anyway, my homemade breakfast is looking pretty epic.
