Best Eggs Benedict in Bend. I have tried them all around town and they have never disappointed. They use a good slab of ham and they don't skimp on the sauce. This is the second time in 2 months I've tried to eat at this establishment. You walk in, nobody greets you, it's a dark CF where loads of people are crowded at the bar and others are walking around just like us with no clue about how to get seated, what is the protocol, first come first served, what? I was hoping to try what someone said was a good breakfast- I'm just not sure how to get to the point where we would hope to be served. The woman at the bar with dreads on May 24 at 9pm was most likely the worst human that you could possibly hire as a bartender on Earth. She was incredibly rude, denied service to my friends for no reason, and absolutely destroyed the vibes of the night. I could not possibly imagine a worse bar to attempt to buy a beverage at as the environment is hostile and could ruin a bachelor party in minutes. If you enjoy being put down constantly by staff and patrons alike and never getting your drink, I could not recommend this bar more. Please never go to this bar and live your life with joy in your heart. Zero stars. read more

The atmosphere was great but Terrible bartender! Made inappropriate comments to everyone in our party and was upset we ordered on one tab rather than split it between multiple orders. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I don't know what kind of training (or lack thereof) these bartenders received, but apparently, customer service wasn't part of it. Rude doesn't even begin to cover it--condescending, dismissive, and full-on attitude for no reason. We came in to enjoy a drink with our friends, not to be treated like we were interrupting their day by existing. They acted like doing their literal job was beneath them. The bartender thought it was cool to show our IDs (with all of our personal information on them) to a group of random people - pretty sure that's illegal. Save yourself the headache and take your money somewhere that actually wants customers and has nice people working behind the bar. Plenty of better bars nearby with better staff, better service, and way less ego behind the bar. Never going back. read more

Place looks like a tradicional dinner! Service was fast. We split a Denver omelette and they served them on separate plates without additional cost. The food was delicious with lots of veggies. Fast service, great food and fantastic price!!!! read more

Horrific . Bartender here was the worst one I've EVER met. I never ever write reviews unless they're good- however he (Robert was his name I think !!?) wouldn't make drinks for us even though we asked nicely, just completely ignored us. I'm not sure what kind of weird power trip he was on, but many people at the bar had the same thing happen as well. He made us feel like the lowest of the low, for no reason. Hopefully he gets fired and can go back to playing dungeons and dragons in his mom's basement ... maybe she can pay him .25 per toe for trimming her talons. read more

It's a dark dive bar. The bartender was friendly, the drinks were good. No issues. They do have outdoor seating but people were smoking (gross) so we opted to sit inside. If you're a people watcher?, this seems like a good spot to observe. read more

I like Coreys. it doesn't quite get the beloved reputation that the D does, but there's always room in the dining room for breakfast. It's definitely one of my my favorite little greasy spoons in town to grab breakfast and maybe an Irish coffee while I wake up after yoga. It's basic, all American, artery clogging foods: eggs, bacon, chicken fried steak, etc. I kind of wish they had some breakfast skillets. But anyway, overall it's great. read more

Disappointed, was given 3 recommendations by a bend local and 2 of the 3 where spot on. This one not so much. Server/bartender was rude and didn't seem to have a personality. Seemed like work to ask for a glass for a canned cider. I understand asking what was on the food menu was taboo. I decided to check out the suggestion of the Lyft driver and try D&D across the street. So far the bartender has had a personality and the food I ordered here didn't seem like a chore. We loved the breakfast, ambience and service so much, we came back 2 times in 3 days! Had the eggs Benedict and it was as they say.. the best Hollandaise sauce! The service is absolutely the worst. I went there tonight for a drink. Sat at a table for about 10 minutes while the bar tender ignored me completely and continued to visit with patrons at the bar. She wasn't busy at all because she made herself comfortable visiting. This is the second time I've walked out in the past month for the same reason. I would avoid this place. There are so many other great places where you won't be ignored. The D&D was great. Great service great drinks. JDub next door to Cory's has amazing service and great drinks. Avoid Cory's. Don't come here to sing if you're not a local. The bar is fine. It's a bar. They have beer. The KJ straight up will not let people sing if she doesn't know them. It is ridiculous. Corey's is a hidden gem for breakfast. For $10 u get an ample amount of hash browns and a fresh veggie omelet. Service is great and kitchen is too rate. I will continue to go back as it's a great place and very unassuming. read more

Pleasantly surprised by Corey's on my dive bar tour of Bend. We went for breakfast (not football), they don't claim to be a sports bar. That said, there are several TV's and we had a nice view of the Seahawks game during our meal. Layout is such that if you come with the family they have a nice "non-bar" seating area in the front, booth seating and tables. More than acceptable for the youngers. Venture back and you get to the bar area. We sat at the bar and were served by Katy bartender/server extraordinaire. Super friendly and great service. I had the chicken fried steak My go-to item for breakfast when eating out. Hashbrowns cripsy, eggs over easy, english muffin. All cooked perfectly. Sausage gravy, I added pepper, but that's just me. Enjoyed it, very good. Would definitely order again. My man had a burger. I had read him the Yelp reviews on the drive down to the place and there were several mentions of the hand formed burgers and that it was! Looked great, cooked perfectly and the bacon was thick and crisp. Thumbs up. I'm going to only call out one small issue, they have organic ketchup, yuck. I'm a Heinz/Hunts girl, so duly noted. Two meals, a bloody mary and a beer - $30. Works for me. read more

Service at bar was great. As for the karaoke, good system. The main issue is the karaoke DJ is very partial to her regulars and doesn't have a fair rotation. I watched many singers that were put up for multiple songs as I was skipped over. Obviously she didn't realize she had someone who use to run karaoke for several years and knows how to be fair to all the singers including the regulars. You may fool someone who is inebriated, but not a person who is drinking pop and water. Thanks and have a great time. Good service and treating people fairly is what gets your business a good review. My favorite hole in the wall. We have history, and it's where I met my SO. So gotta love the place. Yes, it's a dive, and that's part of its charm. I was kinda bummed when they took the second pool table out to make room for more video poker, though. My favorite bartenders were of course, Bonnie, and then Mel and Kris, (no longer there), but some of the new people are good, too, and I've never had a bartender I didn't like thus far. As for the food, they say "it's not your average greasy spoon" on the menu and the burgers are great, sandwiches usually decent, fries are good and they'll make cheese fries upon request that are just smothered. Wonderful late night grease fest. What more can you ask for when it's past midnight? read more

We sat down and waited for 10 min while the bar staff just looked at us. They were not extremely busy. We had to walk up to the bar to order food and drinks. Bad customer service. This is the nicest dive bar I've ever visited. No homeless people. No passed out drunks. I'm not sure this place even qualifies as a dive bar. The staff is super friendly and they serve Hendricks. My fave for a G&T. Though, I was reduced to a lime. I suppose the one thing that helped to up this place's cred was my other half went to the loo and found vomit in the men's urinal. Talk about the best burgers in town! We showed up at 10am for breakfAst but when I got the menu I felt like a burger and I'm soooo glad I got one. My partner got the corn beef hash but tried my burger and was really impressed as well. :) Ever since that day any other burger taste bland. Lol. read more
