Stopped in after the gym to get a healthy quick dinner. I got the tri tip steakhouse salad. It was amazing!! So much flavor and the team members were so polite. I highly recommend trying this salad. You will not be disappointed.

Writing this review feels more like an autopsy than what it really should be - reliving an awesome meal experience. We stopped here for the very first time to use our BOGO coupon and to see what it's all about. We walked into a vast, empty dining room with a handful of fellow customers in line and another handful serving them on the other side of the display case. I ordered the bowl with tuna but was told they were out (thanks for indicating that on the menu board and/or putting up a sign, so that I just spent a handful of minutes deciding on something I wasn't were they didn't even have). We ended up with a bowl with pulled pork and added a fried egg and a bowl with taco-like toppings. The bottom line is that it left me wondering what went wrong. The fried egg was stiff and overcooked, and none of the topping that should've been at least warm was warm. What I like is the use of recyclable (I hope) bowls and ingredients that haven't been processed beyond recognition. I'm not sure if we'll go back, but I wish them well.

On their Facebook page, I was able to snag a ticket for a free meal there, before they even open. It included a meal of your choice (anything)and a drink. Event included a meal for two people. I got one for me and my son. My boyfriend had gotten his own. The line when we arrived at our time slot was long, picture posted. Yes you had to pick what time you wanted to come. I selected between 6-7 pm, after work and after the traffic dies down. It took maybe an hour to go through the line and get our meals. I ordered the chicken cobb since I just started the paleo diet. My son ordered the pork bbq. My boyfriend got a meal with steak. The staff was willing to explain the menu and how everything worked. It is set up cafeteria style and you add things or take things that you don't like that are on the menu. You also can make your own. All their food is antibiotic free. Everything looked healthy and very fresh. I couldn't wait to try it. And it sure was good and definitely fresh! I tried a piece of my boyfriend's steak and it was perfect, with a little bit of pink. Not really sure how he ordered it but he seemed pleased. After we got our meals we decided on what drinks we all wanted. I had to have the cold brew and I enjoyed that. Someday I may have to go back and get something on a cheat day, lol.

I used the bathroom before I placed my order. It was disgusting! Therefore I walked out. I love CoreLife Clifton Park. But will never eat in the Latham store again.

Thai noodle bowl and coconut curry soup
Abby C.

CoreLife is a great "fast food" alternative to places like Chipotle or Panera, with similar prices, customizable options, and a variety of ingredients for people with different palates and dietary needs. I ordered the spicy Thai noodle bowl and the coconut curry soup. The person who took my order didn't know what was in the coconut curry soup except chicken, but said others enjoyed it so I chose that. For a pick-two, the sizes seemed small but were actually very filling. The sauce in the noodle bowl was flavorful and the chicken in it was really good, but most of the bowl was cabbage. The soup had a strong basil flavor and may be improved with some coconut milk and a bit of spice added to it. I really want to give CoreLife a fourth star, but I'm not quite there yet. I hope to visit again in the future to try some of their other options!

Ordered veggie broth - had none. Ended up with this, which was ok. Not what I wanted but they were so disorganized...

Let me start by saying I've been to the ones in North Syracuse and Utica, plagued by the same issues. Started with a veggie broth bowl, paid for extra spinach. No veggie broth after they scooped the greens, sparingly - check the pick for the two spinach leaves. Blank stares, they have no idea what to do. I suggested making it a rice bowl. More stares. Finally ended up with a make your own. They didn't offer any toppings, any bread. I added pepper, salt and sriracha to give it flavor. Inconsistent. Skimpy servings half the time. Clueless servers. Three locations. Signage in this store terrible. You enter the seating area and wander. Ordering sign mentions "sides" but no list, and no one asked or offered. I want to like this chain but ....

I love salad and this place delivers! They offer suggested bowls but you can build your own based on what you see--similar to Chipotle's assembly line model. I took a co-worker here on her last day and she was impressed with all the vegetarian and vegan options. She pointed out that the restaurant decor was industrial, also similar to Chipotle. My co-worker created her own concoction, while I chose the sriracha ginger tofu grain bowl. She and I were able to have leftovers and get another meal out of our large salads, so that makes the cost of the salads even more reasonable. There are plenty of meat and chicken options for carnivores and there's soup, bone broth, pho options available too. The only disappointment for me was the cooler drinks. I ordered one and got a cup. From there you can select from a multitude of options, from lemonade, to tropical green tea, to iced coffee. I sampled each one: just a little swig to toss back and see if I liked the drink. Not a single one tasted good to me. I ended up selecting the coffee since that was the most palatable, but I would not choose a drink from their coolers again. This isn't to say that the food and the experience isn't top notch--it is for a fast casual healthy option. I just won't be getting a drink there again. Like the the CoreLife in Clifton Park, this location offers real metal cutlery and metal trays to carry your order to your table. The melamine salad bowls are lightweight and reusable. Except for my plastic drink cup and straw, I didn't see any single-use disposable plastic as part of the usual meal ensemble. Our to-go containers were plastic, but of the durable, sturdy kind that can easily be hand washed and reused. Suffice to say, I am impressed with the efforts and sustainability and smaller footprint of this food chain.

spinach, arugula, edamame, beets, carrots, cucumber, avocado, grilled tofu.

But there were just enough little things that, when added up, kept my review from being more favorable. I like to craft a salad, which you can do easily here. But if you're doing that while at the counter, unless you're looking at the menu from your phone, you only see the make-your-own ingredients on one monitor that changes what it displays about every 5 seconds. It took me several iterations to see the complete list of greens, proteins, additions, dressings, etc.. Maybe you could slow down how quickly the display changes, or maybe put a laminated copy of the menu on the counter? I was disappointed that salmon wasn't available, and they said they've had a problem getting it recently. That's not their fault, but disappointing anyway. The grilled chicken I ordered instead was fine, though chilled, meaning it was cooked earlier in the day. There was also something inedible in my salad, about pea-sized. I have no idea what it was, it wouldn't have come from any of the salad ingredients I ordered. I have to watch out for things like these, because in the past I've had crowns knocked out from biting into foods with surprises at restaurants. The rest room was clean but needed service. The soap dispenser was empty, and the wastebasket was full. Since the majority of their business appears to be take-out, and the restaurant had only been open for about 3 hours, it led me to believe they didn't bother to service it in the morning. While I'm used to "healthy" being more expensive than "starchy," even knowing I'd pay additional for the protein and certain add-ins such as avocado, the overall price, with beverage and tip, was still more than an equivalent amount at other places offering similar options in the area. None of this was deal-breaking, and just a few tweaks could easily add another star to a future revised review.

So finally I made it to this place. I was looking for a good smoothie for lunch…read more As usual, anytime I go to a new business. I proudly announce to the front person / people that I am new to this business. So they help me by making good suggestions etc. The front lady seemed a bit shy or an introvert, I really get that and that's okay, not everyone is ready to jump on a new customer. Shout out to introverts, all respect to you guys. Although bit unfriendly but she was able to help me order a smoothie. Pitaya Smoothie : Strawberries with pineapples, coconut milk with Pitaya? I never even tried Pitaya before, she said it's like dragon fruit. These were the key ingredients. However the combination of the fruits seemed bit off. I guess I compare every smoothie to the Honest Weight food coop. But berries go together. Beets and carrots and apple and lemon are acceptable pairing. Anyways may be I am wrong, thinking that Pitaya smoothie combination is bit strange. The strawberries didn't seem fresh, powder fruit might or might not have been used. I am not able to reverse engineer this smoothie. I got a salmon salad. Salmon was cured and not fresh fried, I had wished the front lady would have told me that. I do not like cured meats at all. The salads come in two sizes. Regular and large. Other than the cured salmon, the salad was great, fresh ingredients. The salad dressing was good too. Ambience was really quiet. Seems like a popular spot. Many clients stopped to get food. I would surely go back to try more things, other than the cured salmon. I have not written a long review in a while. I would definitely try this place. May be the staff will warm up overtime

The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant is great for a romantic evening or a quiet family dinner. We love that they have clearly marked on the menu all the vegan options and what is vegetarian to make ordering easy. Ordering online is simple but it's just as easy to call and place an order of you have any questions or concerns. This time I ordered a large pizza with vegan cheese. Half the pizza had artichokes and kalamata olives, the other half was topped with fresh sliced mushrooms and vegan sausage. No canned mushrooms here! I think its great that they know their ingredients. The Vegan cheese is always browned and properly melted. You don't have to tell them extra crispy or well done, they aren't going to give you a pizza that does look and taste delicious! Anytime we are in the Latham area and looking for a place crowd pleaser where we can order for us and the rest of the family that doesn't eat vegan food, Midpoint is at the top of the list! There really is something for everyone!

Why was it so good? I got the 10" Chicken Ricotta, and the flavor was on point, perfectly seasoned, and the crust was so fresh. Not doughy, but that good fire pizza fresh. I'm also a sucker for anything that resembles pasta, so when I saw pasta on a pizza, it was a must try. I'm heading back to Albany right now, and this will be the first thing I order to my hotel.

Joe and his team have developed a great concept that allows you to have fresh, delicious Italian ingredients in a casual, take home meal. The same quality and flavor they serve at their sit down venues comes out in their bowl at Bellinis Counter. Having an Italian mother and large family cook, I am fussy about the quality of Italian food. The vodka sauce is amazing however their marinara creme sauce is full of flavor and one of the best sauces i have eaten! When considering a quick take-out meal, pass on the pizza, gas by the golden arches and make it Bellinis Counter, you will not be disappointed.

Why do we keep patronizing them despite the many negative reviews? In my case I was ordering with someone that wanted to give them a try. I should have told them how awful Bellini's is but I didn't want to deter them from getting what they wanted. They are now believers after we got our terrible order. I like really good Italian, and even bad Italian. Bellini's has increasingly gone down hill to now being inedible. Their meatballs used to be just ok. Tonight, the meatballs were far from ok. They seemed to be made strictly of bread and the texture was off putting. The weak vodka sauce and chewy pasta didn't help the meatball situation. One bite of a meatball and the pasta was enough to throw the entire large bowl in the trash. I won't be ever going here again and would suggest you try ANYwhere instead of Bellini's counter in Latham.

There is limited parking on the premises but always parking on the street if you don't mind some walking. The slightly rustic, lodge type of interior matches the friendly vibes as well as the interesting drink selections, including a side menu filled with signature coffee whiskey cocktails! Their tipsy cocktails and beer menu is also quite attractive. My group and I were able to walk in on a weekend evening for dinner with no wait and while it was packed inside, it still felt roomy enough. However, the surrounding tables were rowdy and the noise was reverberating. Our server was attentive though she did admit it was busy and the wait time for orders would take a bit longer than usual. The menu has plenty of starters that are highly shareable, poutine, salads, soups, mac and cheese, burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, wraps, and quesadillas. Haven't had real poutine in ages so I decided to try their gravy fries with smoked cheese curds and added bacon. It was a good portion for the price ($15+) and came out hot on a cast iron skillet. The cheese curds weren't the type I expected and melted down too much, and did not have that squeaky cheese bite one would want in poutine. The gravy and the bacon worked well with the fries though! The smoked brisket French onion soup ($8+) was extremely hot when it first came out and I had to let it cool down before taking a spoonful. The cheese was so bubbly and delicious and the soup itself was flavorful (maybe a tad too salty), and had a balanced amount of onions and brisket. I would definitely get the soup again. Their barbecue pulled pork quesadilla ($15+) was also a bit too salty and meat was more tough than preferred. We also tried two of their mac and cheese selections, which came in a small cast iron pot each ($17+). The bacon chicken ranch mac and cheese was good but the jerk chicken mac and cheese was not as memorable (not much jerk flavor). Kudos for having a build-your-own mac and cheese option as well as a mac and cheese flight if you want to try more than one flavor. I'm glad to return to try other menu items at this tap and tavern and see what else catches my eye. While this visit wasn't spectacular, it also wasn't bad. The French onion soup is one thing I know I'd get over and over again. Oh, they also have a credit card transaction fee that you will see once you get the bill. Pay in cash if you mind said fee.
