The owner Laurel takes your happiness and enjoyment of the food and atmosphere so serious and she's just so kind! Anything you get from here is sooo delicious and will have you coming back for more! My recommendation is to definitely try the specials! They change every day and are always so mouthwatering delicious!! Hard to find a place that makes a good Ruben or hot tuna sandwich but this is the place to go forsure! Call and order for pickup or dine in and get great service from the staff! The motto: Get Stuffed Ordered a Rachel, and it was excellent. The seeded rye bread used was hearty and did not fall apart. It was grilled perfectly. It was good to know the turkey is roasted "in house." I took half home. In my opinion, the prices are not only fair but on the low side for the quality of food served. My sandwich was only $9.99 with chips and a pickle spear. Side salads are inexpensive and delicious I hear. The two sided laminated menu was easy to navigate. Specials of the day are posted at the entrance. Service was prompt and friendly. The charming cafe is located at the end of a strip of businesses off Rt. 7 near the Galleria 7 Food Court. There are many tables and a full bar in a well lit inside seating area. In addition, there is a great patio with nice planters on one side. Lots of parking. Easy access for wheelchairs and walkers. Pretty pissed off at the moment. Just paid $18 for a SALAD. I order lunch regularly online ahead of time so I can be in and out. It was more than 30 minutes late and this what I received. I paid $4.00 for less than 3 ounces of grilled chicken and $2.50 for maybe a quarter of an avocado. Won't be back. Still hungry, disappointed, and late getting back to work. read more

It's a large spread out strip mall so it's not easy to find but once you do, there's plenty of parking. You can eat inside or outside. There is a bar and tables. I'm always there alone so I always sit at the bar so I can't come in on table service. The service at the bar is always quick and friendly. The sandwiches are all excellent. I have had a number of different sandwiches and Paninis and they all have been good. I always get the Southwest egg roll for an appetizer on the side. Prices are very reasonable. I have driven by this cafe a million times and always wanted to check it out. Today was my first visit, and it did not disappoint. The cafe has a great vibe and lots of patio seating to enjoy now that it's spring. I arrived just after opening and was promptly greeted. My goal was to grab a couple of takeout sandwiches, but wasn't sure what to get. The woman who was helping me gave me a menu and patiently answered all of my questions. She raved about the owner's "homemade everything" and encouraged me to return to try more of the selections. My order was ready in less than 10 minutes. We had the two eggs on brioche sandwich and western omelette sandwich, subbing ciabatta for the hard roll. Both were outstanding, and portions were generous. In addition to the sandwiches, we enjoyed the split pea soup - it was perfectly thick with a nice texture and a good amount of ham. Spread the word, The Stuffed Rooster is open again! I had a terrible mishap the morning of where I dropped my packed lunch, and the Tupperware shattered before my eyes. Disheartened, I was searching for something to eat nearby and happened to find The Stuffed Rooster on my list of suggestions. I got a Panini with breaded eggplant and prosciutto. It was accompanied by a giant side of curly fries, which were extremely delicious. Maybe I just wasn't feeling the breaded eggplant that day, but my lunch did not wow me. However, this isn't saying that it was lackluster; the cheese oozed and pulled from my sandwich, and the Panini made a satisfying crackling sound when I bit into it. I think the issue is that I haven't found my perfect sandwich from The Stuffed Rooster, which means I'll be returning to try something else from their menu! read more

Tried this place for lunch as it's just reopening from a remodel. They had excellent salad and sandwich choices, a design your own salad option, and a full bar if you so desire. The outside seating is really nice and fully shaded. They have beautiful flower pots decorating the patio. We had excellent and attentive service. Prices were very reasonable too! read more

I honestly can't tell much difference at all between the Stuffed Rooster and Positano's, the place that was here before it, except for the lack of a catering menu. It has the same virtues: decent sandwiches, a quiet casual atmosphere, and friendly if somewhat hovering staff for a walk-up order place; and the same faults: somewhat overpriced; confusing ordering layout (drinks are well away from where you order food and the order counter and there's a little milling about by people ordering right in front of tables), sparse parking (it's all filled up by workers nearby), and lack of evening hours. They don't have any free sides, either, which Positano's had. OTOH The Stuffed Rooster is a cooler name. It's perfectly fine if you want a panini or a deli sandwich and want a quiet place to sit, though, so recommended. I'm not sure I'm going to skip Galleria 7 and its multiple options for this place at lunch, but since the latter's sandwich place keeps changing hands my guess is only one of these will survive and my money's on the Stuffed Rooster with what is apparently a crowd of lunch regulars. Listen, I use to love this place. They were excellent at following dietary needs, always great at keeping me abreast with any order changes. The last two times though? Not too good, I order delivery since I can't drive. First time delivery driver just drops my lunch in front of my jobs security desk after I asked to be handed my order. No big deal, security was able to contact me. I brushed it off as a one off occurrence. Second time happened this afternoon (4/14/25). I ordered my usual, and wait... and wait..., and wait. Finally, at about 12:50 (five minutes after my initial delivery period was over with no change in the delivery status on Mealio) I decide to take a walk-only to find my lunch sitting out in my workplace lobby. When I called the shop after being instructed by Mealio support our greeter was blamed for not calling me, and then I was blamed for not explicitly telling them to call me (I presume when people see hand the order off to the person that they would you know... at least call to hand the order off instead of dumping the order in someone's lobby?! Apparently you need to spell it out for them). The person I spoke with, Laurel was pretty argumentative too. I understand. Small business. Lunch hour crunch. And a whole host of other factors, but I couldn't eat the lunch due to food safety concerns, and me not wanting to risk getting potentially ill for eating a hot panini that was sitting out for at least half an hour and then! They refused to credit back the $9.99 since "they did deliver the sandwich". read more

I brought my mom here for lunch because of everything I read about their sandwiches (on Yelp and on their menu). She has some dietary restrictions, and it was nice to see the Lunch Standards menu, where you can craft a sandwich according to what you like, which she did. Her roast turkey sandwich had actual roast turkey in it, chunks, pieces, etc., as opposed to sliced deli meat. The bread fell apart a little bit though she said it was soft and tasty as well. I'm intrigued by their soups. She got and enjoyed the clam chowder, which had large chunks of potato, celery and clams in it. I saw on their menu a turkey pot pie soup, but I don't think it was available today. My own sandwich, RS3, was slices of various cold cuts on a grinder roll plus lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. This tasted exactly like the grinders I used to make at home growing up, when my dad would bring home grinder rolls and cold cuts. So it was a nice trip down memory lane as well as a nice lunch. I've been searching for places to get subs (or grinders, hoagies, torpedoes, etc.), in the Colonie area as I travel through. After having lunch here, I don't think I need to do a lot more searching. read more

Nice clean place at the end of strip plaza/mall around from Galleria 7. Bigger than expected, with a good size deck with ceiling fans. They have a couple of soup specials daily. Also a few sandwich specials and serve breakfast all day. Some different breakfast sandwich options and other sandwiches such as what I ordered a breaded eggplant/prosciutto panini. Sandwiches do not come with anything, everything is a la cart. So if you want fries, chips or pickle its extra. There are delicious treats to purchase as well, if you have a sweet tooth. The sandwich was filling and eggplant had a good herb breading flavor. My friend ordered a pickle and bought a huge pickle that they had to cut up for her. I had coffee which was self serve and just coffee but that's what I expected. They have some awesome looking specials but none of the ones I wanted to try today so will be going back if I have an opportunity. read more

My wife has been waiting to bring me here for breakfast and so on a lazy Saturday we stopped by, nearly at 11:30AM. The place is tucked in the back of what appears to be a commercial park and it seemed pretty empty, but during the work week I have been told it can be busy. The friendly woman behind the counter gave us menus to read and pointed out the specials (which were difficult to read in her handwriting). We came for the breakfast sandwiches, which by reputation were quite large and filling, and both settled on the "T-Rex Mini Me" which is 2 Eggs, Ham Bacon, Sausage, American, Home Fries on Brioche Roll. I asked if their hashbrowns had onions in them (yes... grrr) so mine were omitted but my wife had them. We got drinks from the cooler and sat at the counter to wait. Food came up relatively quickly and the sandwiches were big. Or, at least, they were tall. And jam packed such that some things started falling out. The sausage was a split link that liked to fall onto the plate, which allowed me to taste it by itself. It was good but not very salty or otherwise distinguishable. The ham on the sandwich added only pink color but was otherwise lost in the taste sensation of the bacon and cheese, both of which were very good. The eggs were yummy and thankfully scrambled (I don't enjoy fried eggs but forgot to indicate this when ordering). I tried a piece of hashbrown from my wife's sandwich and the potato was very soft (not crispy) and didn't have much seasoning. On her sandwich, it just fell off too. The brioche bun was great. In sum, it was a nice sandwich but I think it attempts to put too much on it. Leave off the ham which doesn't contribute anything. A sausage patty would be much more welcome and fit into the sandwich better even though it wouldn't add the vertical height that the link does. I have been told everything is homemade but my sandwich really couldn't showcase this. Perhaps I will try something else like one of their soups or sandwiches. I appreciate that you called but you should have left it when I said I was not able to talk. Then she began to tell the tales of how it was made. You offered me either a refund or a new order. I'm giving this place at least two stars because the food is amazing and the staff is amazing but the owner lacks so much customer service that it is just gross. She's cold and it's never her fault. Not sure of what they offered the owner I believe explained the menu and board specials. You place your order then take a seat and they bring it over to your table. I ordered a create your own salad. Add ons were only 50 cents each, but could add up quick. A large bowl of greens was 7.99 but I added apple, beets, cucumbers, red onion, which brought me up to 10.99 , blue cheese crumbles 1.00 , and a scoop of chicken salad at 2.25. Very small scoop. $14.24. Ouch. The salad certainly wasn't that big. My husband got the T-Rex. 3 eggs, ham, bacon, sausage American cheese & home fries on a brioche grinder. 6.99 and he liked it. Fountain drinks and really good bag of homemade kettle chips. All and all it was ok. I thought the salad was a bit expensive for the size. My concern is it's hard to find with limited visibility. I've been here twice now. Both times for lunch. They have a nice menu. Be sure to check out the specials board. I have had the buffalo chicken wrap and while usually a buffalo fan, this was really spicy. Filled with fresh ingredients, it was good but a little strong for me. They offer both fountain and cooler drinks. I wouldn't recommend going here if you are in a hurry. I think they make it all to order and both times it seemed like it took a while. If you are with a friend, it offers conversation time, but if you were on a lunch break from work, I would probably recommend calling ahead. I will say they were crowded both times and so I can see why the wait happened. I will definitely return because they offer a great variety of items on the menu. read more

(9 dollars) When I got there it was ready to go, and I picked up a bag of their I assume house made sea salt kettle chips. (2.50) OH MY GOD THESE CHIPS ARE HEAVEN. They are crunchy, and potatoy, and greasy, and salty, and everything I've ever wanted in a chip. I was about to give a five star review for just that. Then I bit into the sandwich. It never occurred to me that it would be with sliced chicken, and buffalo sauce. Mind blown. It was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect combination of blue cheese, and buffalo sauce to give it all the flavors that one wants. I devoured it. Had a great pickup dinner experience here. My son ordered the Cuban sandwich which he raved about. He called it perfect and then called out the ingredients, the proportions and the finish of the sandwich. He also had the curly fries which he also loved, saying they were seasoned to perfection. Lunch choices in Latham near my office park are kind of limited. So when this cafe opened up, I was happy to give them a try. I've eaten here several times now. The food is pretty good and the portions are generous. Everyone that works at the cafe is very friendly. But my main issue is the wait time. The lunch rush can get pretty crazy, so plan a little extra time. I've ordered online sometimes, which sped up the process a little. read more
