In an effort to be a little bit healthier with our fast food choices, we got dinner from CoreLife the other night. I have been here before and liked it so I figured this would be a good spot instead of a usual spot for us. We ordered online and picked up on our way home which was great. They had our order ready right at the pick up time and it was still hot when we got home. I opted to get a buffalo chicken bowl and it was delicious. The blue cheese is a greek yogurt blue cheese here which I was a little skeptical about until I tried it and it was so good. It's basically a better and healthier Chipotle style spot and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely give CoreLife more consideration when I'm looking for some quick eats while I'm out and about in the future.

Still great. Went last week and we both loved our bowls. Then got an email about points expiring and went in today and got the cup of broccoli cheese soup and naan with hummus. Both were excellent. App doesn't say how many points these things are (that's a corporate issue, not a local restaurant issue) but both are only $3 which is a great price. Add one or both as an app to your meal. Owner/manager and all staff are always very nice and helpful.

After seeing the special deal for $7 bowls, we decided to check out a few. Their app was easy to use. You can build your own bowl or choose from items on the menu. It's nice that you can still change or add items to these bowls. The dressings were all ordered on the side. Pick-up time was set for 6:00 and was ready at about 6:15. We went with the Sourhwest Chicken & Purple Rice, Spicy Thai Chicken, Steak Bacon & Bleu, and the Korean BBQ Pork. We both thoroughly enjoyed the chicken options. The flavors all blended together perfectly with tender chicken, fresh ingredients, and the dressings (all homemade). The pork and steak bowls didn't quite live up to expectations. The egg on top of the pork just didn't do it for me. Then the pork was a bit tough. The steak was lacking something. It seemed like it was just bits of steak on a bed of lettuce. Overall, I'd go back for the chicken bowls but skip the pork and beef. I'm wavering between a 3 and 4 but going with the 3 for now. 2023-80

We pre-order 4 bowls on the app. Chose different toppings and sauces to create a variety of combinations. Of the 4 the one I liked most was the Spicy Thai Chickeni bowl. The one I liked the least and would never order again was the Steak, Bacon and Bleu bowl. The steak was not only flavorless but had the texture of re-manufactured meat. It may have been real steak but there are problems with their cooking process. Also a few cubes of meat in top of Roman Lettuce isn't worth the money. The Korean Barbecue Pork Bowl menu photo completely misrepresents what you get. Also, you would think that they would at least keep clean areas visable to the public. Actually, all areas should be kept clean. My recommendation to management is to keep the food service area clean and dishes should at leSt be close to the menu photos.

While running errands, my boyfriend and I stopped here to pick up some dinner. We didn't realize they close at 8pm, and we arrived at 7:45pm, so we opted to take our bowls to go. The gentleman helping me with my Buffalo chicken rice bowl was extremely friendly and accommodating. I liked his energy. I substituted peppers for cheese that was supposed to be in my bowl and asked for a different dressing then the ones that would traditionally accompany the bowl (ranch and blue cheese). I opted for the jalapeno lime vinaigrette, or something like that. My guy had the steak salad bowl. The food was delicious and mine was warm and great. I didn't expect it to still be warm after the 15 minute drive back to my house. I really liked the flavors and glad the gentleman helping me assisted me in making those choices. I will be back again.

Waiting in line, first time here... I'm so overwhelmed & everything sounds so good! I want one of each!

This was my first visit here, despite receiving enticing coupons for BOGO bowls when they first opened last year. Walking in, I noticed several tables closed-off, to enforce social distancing, as well as signs requesting compliance to wear a face mask unless seated and eating or drinking. The staff was also wearing masks and gloves to ensure guidelines were being met. The person who began my order seemed as unsure of the menu items (and prices) but asked for confirmation that I indeed wanted the sad-looking romaine lettuce leaves for my wraps and not naan. (I held fast & asked for the lettuce.) There seemed to be quite a backup in online/takeaway orders as I patiently awaited my turn to pay for my meal and go eat. I did have to ask twice for the side of Brussel Sprouts and my drink cup. The payment process was easy enough. Insert the chip, follow the prompts. I did make note that there was an option to leave a tip. Interesting! The bathroom was extremely clean and well-kept. There seemed to be plentiful outdoor seating, which I would have enjoyed had it been earlier in the day and slightly warmer. There's also plenty of parking and the driveway exits straight to southbound Transit Rd. I'll return here as a treat or definitely with a coupon or discount.

Southwest Grilled Chicken & Purple Rice topped with greek yogurt bleu cheese & side of maple bacon brussels sprouts - Tasty and large!

I came here for the first time with a couple of friends and had a pleasant experience! On the Friday before Christmas 2019 around 7pm, a few friends and I decided to meet here for dinner. The parking lot around this restaurant is pretty large but many of the spaces were filled when we arrived. Upon entering the restaurant, it is pretty spacious but I was surprised at how empty it was for a prime dinner hour. We were able to find a booth pretty quickly and started reviewing the menu. The menu comes in the form of a newspaper-style pamphlet and there are plenty of pre-made bowls to choose from, plus you have the option of building your own bowl. In addition, you can select a side that are usually special for that day as well as plenty of specialty drinks (teas, juices, etc.). The way you order is pretty similar to going to Chipotle. The staff working were all young and conscientious, easy to work with. I ended up ordering the Southwest Grilled Chicken and Purple Rice Blend grain bowl topped with greek yogurt bleu cheese and a side of maple bacon brussels sprouts. The grain bowl was delicious! The grilled chicken was warm and the ingredients tasted fresh and crisp. There were plenty of the listed ingredients tossed in the grain bowl. The brussels sprouts were very good too, I enjoyed the maple flavor and firmness from the brussels sprouts. The portion size was excellent for both the grain bowl and side. The price seemed pretty reasonable too. In general, I enjoyed my meal at CoreLife Eatery! If I want to have a healthier dinner but still want to "eat out", I would not hesitate to come here. Another interesting tidbit is that they are vegan-friendly, which was why my friends chose to come here.

I remain a big fan of this small chain. They have plenty of choices and the ingredients are fresh. The servings are also a reasonable size. This location can get busy but the line moves right along and there is plenty of seating. If you are doing a pickup the window is a little small and there isn't a good area for overflow. You'll have to look for your, clearly marked, bag in a sea of them sometimes. I've done pickup a few times and each time the order has been accurate. 20190212U

Greek bowl with Buffalo chicken and corn as substitutions
    Jessica R.

Updating my review after ordering lunch here today for the office. Tried the new(ish) Greek chicken & quinoa bowl. I substituted the original chicken for Buffalo chicken (I think I'd stick with the original next time) and some corn. I can't normally finish a large bowl but I powered through today because it was absolutely delicious. Glad I changed it up today and tried something new because it paid off!

If you live in assisted living, you have a Care Life. And if you're drunk on watery Coloradan beer, you have a Coors Life. If you're afraid of everything, like The Neighbourhood (if you leave), then you have a Cower Life. And of course if you win a Super Bowl with Jerome Bettis and Big Ben and Hines So Good They Named The Stadium After Him Ward as your main guys, then you have a Cowher Life. But this isn't those. I have mixed feelings about this place. Their Poke Bowl is actually not bad and their salad products are decent as are some of their roasted veggies - but in general they're making pretty bland American food and charging way too much, selling it as healthy food even when plenty of items aren't, and they're doing that on a massive basis right across this region of New York State. Oh, and the quality is definitely suffering as a result. I can't really afford here to eat here too often, and every time I get into regularly ordering a special that is doing it for me and I want to come back and get it again, the special has ended and it's gone back up to the sky high price - so needless to say I probably won't be coming back here too often. As I said already. Oops. Now I need to go see my gf and get on with my Caress Life.

Sadly have to take off a star as this is the second time I recently picked up an order and saw an employee (woman I am assuming is management) with no mask on. The first time, I walked in behind her, and not only did she have no mask on but proceeded to work and interact with other employees (all wearing masks) like we aren't in the middle of a pandemic. I appreciate all of the employees who abide by NYS direction to wear masks and am disappointed to see the same woman not setting the standard we are required to follow. I do pickup orders here a lot (at least three times a week now), and this woman needs to do a better job of protecting those she works around.

Can't say I was super impressed with my meal but I did leave feeling satisfied (hunger-wise). It's finally warm enough in good ol Buffalo for outdoor seating but my little kiddo and I decided to find a spot inside and there were plenty even though it was lunchtime. It's bright and airy decor made my little one comment on "how pretty" it is inside - and indeed it was. Plant eater here ordered a small bowl of the ancient grain salad with blueberries & strawberries (extra charge) with cranberry vinaigrette, and a small bowl of tofu miso soup. Each order was offered with a piece of bread (dry, nothing special). The salad was fine but not super impressive. I was very hungry so that alone should guarantee stars but I can't put my finger on why it was just "okay". Maybe the greens were too dry? Hmm... maybe I should've just ordered more toppings even if it was an extra charge (ahem: avocado!)?!! The soup was bland and at one point I almost freaked - I could've sworn I saw pieces of pork. I went back to check the ingredients and it was made with a veggie broth. Greens, tofu, mushrooms swimming in a bland broth. They don't have a soup base with pork meat so not sure what I saw but I just didn't bother to finish it. Cashier was friendly, person putting my order probably wished she was enjoying the sunny day instead of working (understandable sista!) with not so friendly 'tude. Can't say I'll swing back here again anytime soon but if you want a place for some healthy greens that's not Salsarita or Moe's give this place a try.

The chicken & rice bowl is perfect anytime or when a loved one is sick bring them this! Paired with the tropical green tea.

This is the best place for a fast nutritious meal. My only complaint is they are not near us so we don't go as often as we would like. Their broth bowls are perfect all year long, and their salads and rice noodle or grain bowls are so filling and taste amazing you will forget you are eating so healthy! And don't snub the beet drinks! Even if you don't like beets you will love these drinks!

Everything at Feature is gf (except mac & cheese) and they use zero seed oils. It was great for the family because we were all able to build our own bowls to our liking. My mom and I had quinoa bases with chicken breast and veggies and all the boys had mac & cheese bases with various meats including pulled pork and jerk chicken. My dad also got a cherry protein smoothie, which he let me taste and it was like a yummy milkshake. They use a very clean protein powder, Jocko. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, which were flavorful and a good sized portion. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had.

You can then choose 3 sides. I chose the coconut rice, sweet potato, and mac and cheese. A sweet roll and 2 sauces are included; one sauce is sweet and that was my fave. The other is tangy. It'd been a couple years since I grabbed a treat from Kaylena Marie's of East Amherst. I'm happy…read moreto write the experience was very pleasant and the treats are just as delicious today! I stopped by on a Saturday around noon and was able to grab a parking spot practically right in front of the main entrance, but there's plenty of parking nearby thanks to the other businesses and stores nearby. I walked in and there were a few people dining in, plenty of tables to sit at . I really like the large windows, they lighten, brighten the interior and it's fun to sit, eat, and do some people watching. haha I noticed only one young lady working behind the counter, she was incredibly friendly, very warm and courteous - we chatted the whole time, she was so nice! So what did I order? Fall 2025, Kaylena Marie's re-introduced their "Specialty Rolls" with the big change being the size being "mini" compared to their normal cinnamon roll, which is HUGE. I have to say, I love the "mini" size, it really is the ideal size, pairs well with a scoop, or three, of ice cream. :) For the week of 11/18/2025-11/23/2025, the East Amherst bakery's "Specialty Mini Roll" was 'Mini Twix Roll', which is Kaylena Marie's roll drizzled with caramel and chocolate, filled with even more caramel and chocolate, then topped with crumbled Twix bar pieces and glaze. I ordered two, one for Saturday and one for Sunday. :) This roll reminded me how much I like a Twix bar, wow! The roll itself was soft, which the glaze, caramel, and chocolate only helped to soften even more. I suggest throwing the roll in the microwave for about 20 seconds to take the roll to a whole other level of deliciousness. The price for one "Specialty Mini Roll" is very reasonable, in my opinion, as it's a nice size and are fresh baked with great quality ingredients. Kaylena Marie's of East Amherst is a great café, still serving up delicious and gourmet food and treats. Plenty of parking, large, bright cheerful interior with friendly staff working. I look forward to coming back for the next "Specialty Mini Roll" that commands my attention!

I'm not sure if it were the owner working, but whoever the lady was she was incredibly kind and upbeat; she even let me try a ham and cheese roll up croissant that was coming soon to the menu. I ate it on the go. It didn't make a mess at all and it was very good! It had something sweet to it so it wasn't dry, with I think some poppyseeds. It was a really nice blend of flavors and textures.
