If you're a salt lover, prepare to add your own, but I like it there way it comes. Don't skip the drink. I know that's unusual thing to say but they have all kinds of unique serve yourself drinks. Beet lemonade is my fav so far! Environment: At first approach you walk through a very nice outdoor seating area set back a bit from the street noise. Going in, it's a long line area to the right with descriptions of the bowls on your way up. Line has been long both times but moved quickly. Once you reach the ordering area it's filled with options including the fresh vegetables in the back shelves. Almost like a grocery store might have. Staff: With the ordering process intimidating at first, the staff walks you through everything if your looking to customize differently how your order comes. Grains, greens, or bone broth bowls are the option. They have a bunch for you to choose from to order, or you can choose to create your own. Since it was my first time and I didn't really know what to pick to create my own I choose a greens bowl. Steak bacon and blue cheese bowl with a wonderful cranberry vinaigrette. I know you're thinking yeah okay that's a salad but let me tell you it was not your typical wilty greens, measly portion of shoe leather meat, oily fake dressing that you might get elsewhere. It was served in a huge bowl with an optional half slice of multigrain bread. The portion was more than enough, I struggled to finish. I did find out that the bread was not made in house but actually a bakery elsewhere- still wanted to buy a loaf, I should've asked! The drinks are all made in house too. I had beet lemonade. Yum! Wonderfully earthy yet delicately sweet. They say they make all of our dressings, soups and broths from scratch every day, the taste and quality proved that to me. I came during their VIP Facebook events that my friend signed up for. We arrived at our scheduled time and there was a line out the door but we kind of expected that to happen. It was hot waiting outside but the line moved quickly and before we knew it we were inside only to be greeted by no air conditioning. No bueno but not losing any stars from me. It was warm that's for sure but the line moved quick and there were greeters from the restaurant to talk to and answer questions throughout the waiting process. While waiting I got to talk to the owner who was very pleasent and enthusiastic. The ordering process was like that Subway or Chipotle, assembly line. I was able to sample a taste of the dressing before they put it on my salad, which I thought was nice. I could have asked for it on the side but I wanted to experience it as it was meant to be made. I've wanted to try this place for awhile now, and I'm definitely glad I was able to do so! There's plenty of parking and the interior is super aesthetically pleasing (however that might just be something weird that makes me happy in restaurants). I got a chicken and rice noodle broth bowl and some lemonade. The lemonade was phenomenal and the broth bowl wasn't bad either, however it wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped. That being said, it is essentially chicken noodle soup so I didn't really expect a ton of flavor. I made the mistake of trying this spot for dinner. I'd consider it more of a lunch place from now on because I felt hungry relatively soon after we left. Definitely would go again though! read more

Holy cow. I got to experience CoreLife during a VIP event where they were giving away meals, like, so many meals. I'll be honest, I had apprehensions because I've been to another CoreLife location and didn't have a great experience but when a friend offered me her guest pass, I wouldn't turn down a free meal. The line was out the door by the time our VIP experience rolled around but the line moved efficiently. You order the same way you would at Chipotle in a line but there are different stations depending on what you order. I had the Spicy Ginger Steak & Rice Noodle Broth Bowl and let me tell you, the kitchen manager Lee? He's got some good stuff happening. I started to attack this huge bowl with a spoon and realized that there was too much debris for that implement so I went back for chopsticks. There was so much steak, kale, and broccoli, it was insane. And the price is crazy reasonable for the portion you get. This bowl was so good, i finished it with a straw and I'm not sorry. It's like Chipotle, but with healthy broth bowls and salad bowls. I really liked the idea of being able to choose what you want in your broth bowl. I also liked that they are very health conscious. I got the ginger steak rice noodle broth bowl and added some cherry tomatoes to it. I must say, the portions are TINY. I had to eat a second dinner when I got home (so much for healthy eating)! I was pre-warned that they give the same amount of toppings for small and large bowls, so it was more worth it to get a small... but even so they only give tiny scoops of meat and veggies. I was pretty disappointed by that. The broth itself was a bit bland, but you're there for healthy eating so it's a plus that they don't use too much sodium. Their selection of drinks were great. Lemonades in day deferent flavors and fruity or tropical sugar free teas that make it fun for kids to choose what they want(stevia on the side!) The salad I chose was a make your own bowl. Double portion of meat that equals 6oz of the meat you choose. Chicken is definitely a great choice, flavorful and juicy. Grain choice I skipped today. Then four veggies and a cheese. I skipped the cheese. Dressings that are creative and soooo good you'll want to drink them. At the register you have a choice to have a piece of whole grain bread too. Everyone is happy in our family today. As a Mom, it's great to see a health oriented restaurant that goes above and beyond to achieve the best for our families. This location is just opening up, and I stopped in for a preview event prior to their grand opening tomorrow. This fast-casual restaurant is spacious, with an open layout, staggered, high-walled booths to create some sense of privacy, and lofty ceilings to make it feel roomier and also to diffuse the sound during busy periods. I definitely liked the interior layout. In design, atmosphere, and objective it is very similar to Chipotle, but with a less industrial feel to it's interior design. The ordering process is just like a Chipotle or Subway, and there is a strong correlation between the training and efficacy of the employees and the speed at which the line progresses. Ours moved pretty steadily tonight, and it took about twenty minutes for the line to progress from outside of the building (and halfway down the side) to actually placing our order and paying for and receiving our food. That is a throughput any restaurant manager should be proud of. The employees were friendly, polite, and cheerful, and they spoke both clearly and loudly to avoid any miscommunication in the noisy environment. The food was also very good, being a selection of healthy grains and vegetables (and noodles) which can be ordered as a veggie bowl, a plate, a salad, or with a broth to make it more like a soup or ramen dish. The flavours were good (especially the tofu!), the portions were ample, the menu options diverse and creative, and it was delightful that I could even choose chopsticks instead of cutlery. At least one of the four owners was present to welcome patrons, too, and he did a good job of improving everyone's experience; not just the customers, but also encouraging and cheering on the employees. In fact, my one criticism is one common to new food service employees and less relevant to a restaurant with a veteran crew (meaning that I expect/hope it will swiftly improve here)--while in line I saw quite a few employees use their gloves hands to adjust their clothes, scratch their heads, or in some cases even use the back of their hands to wipe their forehead before grabbing a spoon or tongs to complete the next dish. If that training issue is amended, I could very happily adjust my rating to 5 stars. I found CoreLife in Syracuse during a work stay visit and fell in love! I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that they're now here in Buffalo with their Williamsville location. I work five minutes away and I will be here every chance I get!!! My favorite so far is the ginger steak grain bowl with rice noodles, kale, cucumbers and miso sauce. It's so good and makes me feel great about eating it. I love having an abundance of healthy options to choose from, I plan on trying everything on the menu! Places like CoreLife should be the norm as opposed to fast food burger spots, I hope they open somewhere in the city too. This restaurant is similar to chipotle, subway, etc in terms of set up. There are plenty of premade options, and of course you can make your own bowl as well. Since it was my first time here I decided to get the chicken and rice noodle broth bowl. I ordered a small (which was super filling). The chicken broth was delicious, I really loved the rice noodles but I wish the chicken was a bit more flavorful. My boyfriend got the chicken tortilla broth bowl which was more flavorful and spicier than mine. His broth tasted even better than mine did! I also ordered the basil cucumber lemonade which was very earthy and delicious. I enjoyed the freshness of it. My boyfriend got the lemonade which was not too sweet, and it tasted fresh. Loved my meal at CoreLife Eatery this afternoon! I had the Poke Tuna grain bowl and loved every bite. The flavors were all so crisp and it was packed full of fresh veggies. The tuna also tasted amazing. The dressing had a great zip and mixed perfectly with the fresh ginger that was grated into the bowl. I will say that it can get a bit expensive if you're trying to get a full satisfying meal. My veggie broth bowl cost me about $9, and my friend's cost her about $8. To get full, you'd probably need to either split a hearty salad or grain bowl, or each order another bowl. I may come back again in the future, and I would recommend this place to a friend if they were out of options for trying something new, though it is quite a drive to get to this location for some. I love this place! I forgot to bring usual salad for lunch today at work so I figured this was the healthiest "fast food" option in Clarence. I arrived around 1 pm and the line was almost out the door. I was skeptical at first, but the line moved so quickly! Don't let the line discourage you... the workers have the food prep down to a science! Also, the line moves quickly because they have menu boards posted along the area where you wait in line so you can make your decision BEFORE getting to the counter. I had the Ginger Steak & Rice Noodle grain bowl and it was divine. I normally don't like steak from fast food restaurants but this steak was perfectly cooked and not chewy at all. I paired my bowl with the miso sesame ginger dressing as recommended and I'm glad I did! Apart from the food, I really loved the customer service these employees were putting out. On top of that, the managers were visibly present in the restaurant and were making active attempts to speak with customers AND employees. I work in human resources for a living and it was so refreshing to see the manager go up to his employees and say "Hey, how are you doing" and "Everything good? Great job!" I think you have a great group of people working at this location. We'll definitely be back (maybe for dinner tonight if I can convince my fiancé, haha!) *update- I brought my fiancé tonight for dinner and he loved it. I added some pickled onions to it (for extra charge, about 40 cents I think) and I think that made it more amazing because it gave the dish some acidity and sourness , which I think was lacking before. I liked CoreLife! Despite the mixed reviews I was hearing initially, I decided to try it since it was such a different concept for the area. I got the chicken and rice noodle broth bowl, and on a very cold night it definitely hit the spot. The set-up was initially confusing, the menu is at the back of the line so you can see the options before holding up everyone else - which I liked. But that also means that you don't get to see the ingredients until after you order - everything thankfully looked fresh so I didn't regret my choice :) Also, the bar is set up Chipotle-style with everything laid out in front of you, but I didn't really get to choose what went in my bowl like I thought I would. I was asked a few initial questions, but after that my food moved along down the line to the register. Maybe that was just the situation with my dish specifically, but it seemed weird to me. My only real negative was I wish the broth was hotter. It was delicious, but once I was about halfway through, my food was almost too cold to keep eating. I was definitely excited to check out CoreLife Eatery, it's great to finally have a place like this out in the suburbs! CoreLife did not disappoint- it is delicious, healthy, and a pretty good price! You order at a counter, make-your-own fast food style. I do not think it was confusing at all, I think they did a great job with signage and the newspaper-style menu. The line can be long, it wraps along the entire side of the restaurant, but in the few times I've been there it moves faster than I can even make up my mind on what to eat! They also advertise the option to order ahead online which I think I will definitely try soon. You choose from a pre-designed bowl or make your own style. I've stuck with the signature bowls so far, and have not been disappointed! The Sriracha Ginger Tofu is great (I got chicken instead of tofu) and the Tuna Poke is amazing! Even the signature bowls can definitely be customized- they're happy to make any changes or substitutions you like, they offer to toss or not toss the salad, choose your own dressing on it or on the side, etc. The service is pretty good, most of them very nice. We were considering a soup and they let us sample it, which was helpful. It's modern and clean inside. I LOVE the cute little patio outside. I was very much looking forward to the juice bar, however I'm so disappointed that all the lemonades have added sugars- why?! The teas do not, however, and the green tea is pretty tasty. The price was reasonable, considering how much you would sometimes pay for a salad closer to downtown Buffalo. Also, the bowls are large, filling, and had lots of toppings. This CoreLife is tucked away next to neat restaurant in front of Walmart and BJ's. Comepared to the other ones it seems to me not as busy which is good. The food here also tasted a bit fresher or maybe it's just slower so the portions seemed more put together. I did like it there were a couple dirty bowls that came out of the washer which hasn't been uncommon at a few locations so I just opted for the Togo bowl. However the taste is alwaays fresh, I went with the Poke bowl and I will have to say their bowls are crafted perfectly with a balance of crunch and the right amount of ingredients. The food tastes fresh and lists the calories and ingredients right in front of you so you don't have to search and awkwardly hold up the line. They also have a very easy app you can use for online ordering. Part of eating healthy is not stuffing yourself and learning to limit the caloric intake. Eating a large salad, soup, or a grain bowl doesn't provide the same level of satiation than eating a steak dinner. My husband and I recently attended a VIP event at CoreLife Eatery. It was busy, but that did not affect our experience. All a staff members were on point- from beginning to end. As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted with a friendly smile. As we waited in line, looking over the menu, an employee stopped to offer some suggestions and asked us if we had any questions. As soon as we got to the front, our order was taken without any issues. Everything looked fresh and delicious! Since this was a VIP event, our food and beverages were on the house. Of course, we were extremely grateful. Once we picked out a table, and we got up and picked out our drinks. They encouraged us to try the different teas and lemonades. I enjoyed a cranberry lemonade and my husband picked out a tea. Both were flavorful. We sat and enjoyed our meals. I had a steak, bacon, and blue salad. It was delicious! Just the right size, too. I'm a fan of Sweetgreen from when I lived in Boston, so I was intrigued when I heard about CoreLife. As a city-dweller, though, I wish it weren't in the burbs. One advantage CoreLife has over Sweetgreen is that all items at CoreLife are gluten-free, except the bread, which they only offer at the end of the prep line, right before you pay, making the chances of cross-contamination very low. I'm not gluten-free, but this is a huge bonus when eating out with my in-laws, since both my husband's mom and sister can't eat gluten. Another plus is the variety of juices/teas/lemonades. And, free refills! I mainly had the beet lemonade, but I tried some of my husband's apple cider green tea, and sampled some coconut water fruit punch and the cranberry cayenne lemonade. The sweetness level of the drinks could be toned down just a bit. I had the sriracha ginger tofu and ancient grain bowl. I prefer some of the salads I've had at Sweetgreen, but this was pretty good. It would also be great if CoreLife had more vegetarian salads/bowls on their menu, besides the tofu ones, and the one Mediterranean salad with falafel. I like tofu and all, but I'd love more combos that used other veg-friendly proteins. Yes, I could create my own salad or bowl, but I'm not the most creative when I'm hungry. I'd just like to order off a menu, please. Still, I like CoreLife. I just wish they'd open in Buffalo proper, too. read more

Healthy food for sure! We have tried this establishment several times and the food is always good. Today we tried their new power plates both the chicken and steak and both were very good and filling. Came with salad and bread. read more

I was so intimidated by this place walking in . There were so many choices . But the employees were so nice and accommodating. Even though the line was long they didn't rush me along and were knowledgeable. I settled on a southwest grain bowl . Minus the avocado. I also added Siracusa and switched out the chicken to spicy chicken. I liked the bowl clean lol it was fresh, crunchy, the chicken was moist and juicy.
