My analogy would be that she's a great lab doctor, but her bedside manner is not the best. Additionally, when I took the second class, with the sub, she could barely give instructions, was very nervous and seemed out of her element. Did Tasha hire her? A waste of time and money. This keeps the gym feeling really safe and professional, which I enjoy. I also love the variety of yoga and fitness classes, plus the free weights in the gym. It's the perfect mix for me of climbing, yoga (which I used to HATE and now generally enjoy, thanks to CRG) and weightlifting. The training area upstairs is also great for climbing-specific training, with a variety of hangboards, a kilterboard, and more. I really like the vibes here, and the music is great 99% of the time. Great atmosphere and a nice sense of community fostered by the staff with lots of events like queer climbing night, women's climbing night, and more. Honestly, my favorite reason for living in this area. Highly recommend visiting!

Ellen (Gentle Yoga) and Aly (Ayurvedic Yoga) were warm and inviting. As a first-time participant they asked me if there were any injuries to be aware of. Indeed, there were, and they attentively suggested alternative approaches to poses or props that would help. The monthly membership has made it possible to attend several classes a week and keep my body and mind in a much better place. Anahata is not only yoga classes. They offer workshops, Ayurvedic Bodywork, and community potlucks once a month. All which I've had the lovely opportunity of participating in. I used Yelp to find a masseuse close to work and came across Mind and Body, only 1 block away. I texted (and emailed) as indicated on the website for a last-minute/same-day appointment for the 30 min neck and shoulder massage. They were able to squeeze me in this afternoon, and I already feel worlds better. My masseuse (who I believe was Jessica) was great, and was able to talk me through her plan of attack once I described my symptoms. After just 30 min, I feel significant relief in my neck and shoulders- she was very knowledgeable and professional, and did an amazing job. As for the office overall, it is a bit confusing to locate- once in the elevator, you need to press "M" (not 5) to get to the mezzanine level. As other reviews indicate, you are able to hear what's going on outside your room because the room walls do not reach the high ceilings, but this didn't bother me. My room was private, warm and cozy. I also liked that she didn't use a crazy amount of scented oil- sometimes I've left massages feeling like I need to shower. I was able to use my Student ID for a discount, and I did see that there were some specials offered on the Yelp page. I was also asked to pay cash (I believe their machine was down) but they told me this when I made my appointment so I had time to run to the ATM. No other massage can even compare to these - Victoria is caring, perceptive, and knowledgeable and put me at ease immediately on both visits. Plagued by lower-back pain every few months, both massages have done wonders for my back and the rest of my body. A few other things: they are extremely accommodating with online vouchers. No hassles whatsoever. Scheduling is a breeze (I was able to make both appointments during the week after work). A few other reviews mention the business being in an office - it's since moved to another part of the same building and it's a huge step up: dim, quiet, and a perfect atmosphere for a massage. Really lucky to have a place like this so close. Can't recommend it enough.
