Yeah so I had my first visit with my new doctor there third one in less than a year and I've been…read moreon benzodiazepines for 15 years and it's in the medical books a typical withdrawal for 30-day use is four to five months and not to be just taken off but to be weaned down on valium for up to 6 months now this is for someone who's been on at 30 days I've been on it 15 years I really question where this guy was educated if I can find out this very information from other doctors who back it up how come he can't. Below is suggested treatment for someone who's been on clonazepam like me for 30 days I've been on it for 15 years and the guy said no you'll be fine why do you got a lawyer up just to get honest to good Healthcare I'm not asking for I didn't ask to be on it for 15 years but I should be given the right to be safely taken off it do not go there if your life depends on it cuz I've already seen three doctors that are going to sign affidavits saying that this guy is definitely letting the potential of my health and death go uncheck because of whatever Notions he may have in his head instead of reality

I then called Albany Med and asked them if they would send my records to my Dr. I got through, made my request and was done in 4 minutes. 45min vs 4 minutes. My care is good at family practice but trying to get through is almost impossible. That's totally unacceptable.

I am a retired Catholic priest who served in the Archdiocese of Washington for nearly fifty years…read more Recently, I underwent surgery at Berkshire Medical Center, and that experience is the reason for this brief reflection. Over the years, I had the privilege of serving a large parish in Washington, D.C., that included many physicians, surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals from the National Institutes of Health and Georgetown University Hospital. Having known and worked with so many outstanding people in medicine, I do not offer praise lightly. I can say without hesitation that Dr. Clayton Peterson is exceptional in two ways: as a highly skilled surgeon and as a genuinely kind, compassionate, and caring human being. Those qualities are a rare and remarkable combination. As a priest, I have met countless people in positions of leadership and responsibility. It takes a great deal to impress me. Dr. Peterson is one of those rare individuals who truly does. The people of the Berkshires are extraordinarily fortunate to have him. He is, quite simply, one of the very best.

Lack of any wound care other than 3 bandaids tossed on over dried blood....Maiming me for life…read more Causing subsequent visits to another er. Wound cultures, 2 checks for sepsis, multiple iv antibiotics, shots of steroids and antibiotics, many many oral antibiotics, 2 long courses of steroids, 2 organisms ate thru my tissue. Cellulitis added to a 3rd skin infection. Multiple pcp visits. Multiple emergency on call calls. Dozens of portal messages. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY OR RESPONSE TO A COMPLAINT FILED 2 MONTHS AGO. Never even checked for a concussion. Dr Looked over my head and said "doesn't need stitches" and walked out. Back to say "ct was normal, give her a bandage and a cab voucher and have her go wait in the waiting room" FROM THE DOORWAY. Never gave concussion evaluation (which I had one and was diagnosed in Fairview) Despicable, stigmatic behavior from a medical doctor at a hospital, that houses a medical detox, in a town, full of addicts and alcoholics, at a time in the world where you can't throw a stone and not hit someone that has never been personally affected by addiction in some way. And then to not even offer an apology, let alone anything else, like a freaking response to my complaint, makes me sick.
