Then the next week everything from the house moved. I was so pleased with the move both times I asked if All Star could move all the items I had moved over time into a storage unit and bring it to the new house. This included hundreds of board feet of hardwood lumber and all of my hand tools and misc wood working equipment. He also asked me at the end if everything is as I requested. Our biggest concern was our piano which took four of them to move. I noticed that someone gave them a bad review on 02/19/2015 and it's unfortunate but I found the opposite. I found Jason on Angies List which gave them nothing but high reviews; primary reason why we hired them. I later found out that Jason served in the Air Force and I believe (according to one's review) he worked in the Travel Management Office; which serves him well.

My mother is downsizing after 25 years. I called and he was working so he called back. My mom is moving from a 3 level home into a 2 bedroom apartment. I told him everything and asked the rate and how to confirm the date; He informed me that he would be there with a few guys and the rate is $175/hour and we agreed and said he didn't need to come out and see anything. I asked if he could break down her bed and he "said I normally don't but I can do that". He didn't bring any tools to breakdown the bed and I had to borrow tools from a neighbors; he the states he would not be putting it back together. I got on task rabbit and hired someone to put it back together; no problem. I ensured he had my mother's number since I would be flying in that day and he had the starting location. 8/2 the day of the move he texted us he would be a few minutes late since he had to pick up his uhual truck so he showed up around 1023am and finished at 3:15 which would be 5 hours. He tried to charge us for 7 hours and my mom said you haven't been with us 7 hours; I stepped in since I was paying him then he said it would be 6 hours as my mother had some items that wouldn't fit into her new place and we asked if he would bring them back to her home which he agreed. But as soon as I sent the payment $1050 he flipped ; The sofa he agreed to bring back he refused to touch; he had 2 items still on the truck and he agreed to bring those items back but refused to bring the sofa as he had first agreed. We get to the original location and I called to let him know we were here. He arrives and he's aggressive, yelling and rude; he opens the truck door and starts dumping the items in the street; I asked if he could put it on the porch as he agreed and he refused stating " are yall going to pay me to put it on the porch" ! I started recording him putting the items in the street and only then did he startedplacing items on the porch. He started yelling " I already spoke to my lawyer so it's nothing" His brother was agreeable to placing the items on the porch but Darrell refused at first. He told us we were putting his business in jeopardy and " I have to feed my kids with this business" , " yall unprofessional and unorganized"; we aren't professional movers and my mother hasn't moved in 25 years so him expecting her to get everything perfect is crazy. She didnt know the sofa wouldn't fit in her hallways and he had no problem removing them until the money was sent. I told him I had been nothing but nice to him and paid him so I didn't understand why so rude now when he agreed to bring back the items. He yelled at me " you a black woman and yall lie, that's all yall do, yall can't be trusted". I have the entire interaction recorded and he is the only aggressive, rude and yelling person! 3:02 pm I paid him and in that moment and he totally flipped the script almost immediately. Before he finished I asked for his lawyers contact information and the contract he brought up which he refused to give me either but brought them up. He showed up at 10:23am and was unloading the items on the street at 3:47pm. He told us how we wasted his time although he had been paid in full at 3:02pm and agreed to bring the items back and said " yall think this is slavery"; he agreed to bring the items back under no distress so I was confused why he was behaving so rude and aggressive. A google search of the owner will tell you everything you need to know; sorry I didn't do it before hand. Darrell Lardge Update(5:50pm 8/3/24) : he is now calling me and my mom multiple times after we left the review threatening us with legal action. We haven't told one lie so we will not remove the review but now worried about safety with his behavior. He's calling and text us both.

Friendly as can be and so incredibly respectful of my hardwood floors and my home. I didn't even have to say anything they laid down red foam mats across the entire pathway on my floors and stayed on that. AWESOME! I've moved 42 times and going forward this is the only conpany I will use going forward and you should too. Totally affordable and everything they use including materials to wrap and protect furniture is included. No hidden fees or prices. They were actually a bit lower than a lot of their competitors. I get it, with a 3.3 star review I was skeptical. However, being a Product Reviewer for Amazon I know that those Stars are not always accurate and don't always give the entire story. These guys were amazing. They knocked iout my entire house, basement, garage and patios quickly, moved my things to my parents home, incredibly respectful to my elderly mom and the list goes on and on. All of my items arrived without incident including mirrors, heavy antique armoires and lots of fragile items.Not a single issue. They time calculations were exact.
