This gets you the speed you need today for and for any devices you add in the future. Let's get the faster Internet ordered today. Ok? [ME]: Is that fiber optic? [REP]: Yes 100 Mbps is fiber optic. ---- [REP]: We make it easy to enjoy your Internet connection with our premium, all-in- one modem and router, specially selected for our network, that always includes in-home WiFi. You can lease this WiFi modem for only $15.00 per month or you can purchase for $200.00, which option do you prefer? [ME]: If the availability for a fiber optic speed upgrade comes, will this modem need to be replaced again? Or is this one capable of the 500 or 900 speeds? [REP]: It will be compatible for the any speed of optic fiber. ---- [ME]: Sounds good. Will I get an advance notice window before they arrive to install? [REP]: Okay, the tech will reach you 30 minutes prior to their coming or when they will be on the way. Paid $200 for modem due to promise of fiber optic speed and future fiber speed upgrades. Monthly payment increased $15/month for new fiber speed. Did not receive fiber internet. Not even available in my area and never will be by CenturyLink according to technician and confirmed by AT&T rep. Requested supervisor refund modem cost and/or revert to prior monthly rate. Was called a liar about speaking to a different rep who offered some attempts to waive costs before wanting to speak with supervisor to make them aware of initial misrepresentation. Despite full transcript of the company falsely selling me a product that they did not deliver and additional products based on that lie, the supervisor blamed me for not reading the fine print despite being directly told by employee something else entirely. Scam tactics, do not trust this scummy company.

    I went to this Verizon store to change cell phone carriers, combine accounts with my roommate, and…read moreupgrade phones. The store was busy when we arrived and as soon as we walked in the door, someone took my name to "sign us in" and told us someone would be able to help us soon. We waited only a few minutes before being helped by Joe. Joe was fantastic. He was friendly, courteous, patient, knowledgeable about plan options and what would work best for our needs. He was a real champ in helping up combine our AT&T accounts into one Verizon account, and import our old phone numbers. It didn't hurt that he was versed in Harry Potter and knew his wife is a Hufflepuff :-) I'm giving the store four stars instead of five because 1) Their accessory options for their Samsung phones was not especially impressive, and 2) I literally have spent less time buying a car than getting this account set up and phones purchased. That was more due to the Verizon person on the phone getting accounts and phone number transferred, so it is arguably not fair to ding the store a star for that, but I am basing my review on the whole experience. Over all, it was a positive experience. I would certainly return to this store in the future.

This is August and already this is the 4 day this year where we haven't had internet for whole 24 hours. Outages impact whole apartment complexes and not just 1 home. With Covid and WFH, this wasn't expected. I would pay a few $ more for more reliable connection.

I had been using them for almost 5 years and then one day I got a complaint that said I was "attacking other computers". Now I am a computer and programmer but I am also highly ethical about it and find hacking for malicious purposes utterly reprehensible. So after the accusation I searched my network top to bottom, checked for malicious programming, rootkits, Trojans whatever and found nothing. So I thought nothing of it but I became suspicious about it. Then I started using a vpn and I got another complaint, this was a dmca. I thought this odd that they were able to tie a dmca to my ip when I am using a vpn and not downloading things. So I went on, tightened security, checked all computers and did a reformat of every computer well then I got another apparently. They did not notify me, they just cut my service off at home. The first communication from them was that they cut off my service after I was forced to contact them. They said I had to call in to talk to them. Next they locked my account so I could not remove my credit card number so they could continue to charge my cc while not giving me service. So then I called in angry. The first guy said I had to talk to customer service and he would put me on hold and transfer. 30 minutes later no one so I hung up. Called in again, this time the phones are unable to transfer me but someone would call back....they never did. Then I called in later, this time they cut me off because I went to a website they did not approve of so they cut me off and I was supposed to get called back and again they did not...and still they have no problem charging my credit card. Even worse now, they have changed their story 5 times about why they cut off my service. They will not give me service nor will they give me my money back nor will they stop charging my credit card so yeah...crap A or crap B!
