See the link below for what Lelch feels is $1,000 worth of work…read more My basement already has Cat-5 wired throughout it and I wanted it to be connected to the internet. The rep showed up and looked at the jacks in the walls, saw them going into the utility room (into an outdated cat-5 switch) and determined that another rep should come out to "set it all up". I then get an email with a bid of $675 and although I felt that was high, I told them to go ahead. Another rep came out, cut off the ends of the already wired cat-5 cords, put ends on them, put them into a switch, and placed them in what I was told as a "compact" box that would make it look nice. They then tested the connections and were on their way. The next day I get a bill for $980 and come to find out every visit, regardless of work, starts at $150 and for that first "consolation" (which was the tech and I speaking for 45 minutes and the rep offering to put two covers on two outlets) costed me $335. Well that was news to me and I was not once told anything about that. The actual box that is supposed to make this whole project, "look nice" is huge, unnecessary, and actually makes it look worse. Then the rep just puts the modem on top, leaves all the old stuff still on the wall, and was done. If you feel that the value added work of testing the cat-5 connections already in the house, cutting the ends off of the preinstalled cat-5 cords, putting ends on them, plugging them into a switch, and then placing the switch into a huge unnecessary box is worth $1,000 to you, then you will get what you paid for. My installation experience, product experience (excluding the Control 4 remote), and suppprt/help…read morefollowing the installation have been solid from the entire Lelch team. To be candid, the Control 4 experience is hands down the single component preventing me from giving five stars. The experience with this device has been a challenge. I would highly recommend Lelch for their customer first approach. I would urge you to consider what exactly you're looking for out of a universal system and evaluate whether the Control 4 unit is best for your needs and design.

Apple (Mac) computer service. As an Apple/Mac owner since the late 1970s, living in Los Angeles…read morefor most of that time, I've had plenty of experience with Apple/Mac sales and service, and this is hands-down the BEST. Friendly, professional, intelligent, non-condescending, personable and prompt. Hmm, have I left anything out? I took my Mac in just before closing time on Wednesday with a dead hard drive. By Friday afternoon (two days later), they'd fixed it, cleaned up, tested and reassembled the machine. They're an authorized Mac repair station and I'm thrilled to find them so close to where I live. Best. Ever.

Just chalk it up to another miserable experience dealing with a cell phone company. I don't know…read morewhich is worse, the mobile phone industry or cable industry. They both love bringing the pain on a daily basis. This particular retailer took it to another level. We bit the bullet and decided to switch carriers. Ugh, how I dreaded doing this since I knew the process would be brutal. My expectations were extremely low, and this location managed to surpass them quite easily. I counted on 2 hours, and we were there for 4. Added bonus, we had to return the next day for an additional 2 hours since they had to troubleshoot something else. I turned in my old phone for a credit and never received it. The sales rep said that it could take 2 months. After 2 months I called Verizon and they couldn't locate my phone. I gave them the tracking number and was told that this location shipped 10 older phones in one box. There was no way for them to tell which phone was mine. To top it off, they never honored my military discount. They said this could take 2 months too. This place is shady. Just make an appointment at one of the main Verizon stores.
