Food was so fresh tasted like something your best friend mom made I heard people talking about their Philly cheesesteak sandwich

Amazing food very fresh ingredients. I heard people talking about their Philly cheesesteak sandwich. I will be back soon with friends and family to eat at.Corbett's Restaurant

Saturday brought a new group of family to Redding and we chose Corbett's. They have a convenient downtown location in the middle of everything. Good size for small and large parties alike, we were greeted and seated swiftly. The server was very knowledgeable on the menu and what she did not know she asked rather than making up an answer. As you can see the portion sizes are large and almost shareable. My daughter's Benedict Sauce was awesome, my son's biscuit cream sauce good too. I asked for spicy and while it wasn't mind blowing (my fav) it was full of flavor with a bite. When you are thinking of a place to dine in Redding, put Corbett's to the head of the class.

If you're in the old downtown part of Redding as opposed to the new sprawled out strip mall area east of the 5 freeway, this is a good choice for breakfast. Parking is a bit of a pain in the downtown area, but thank goodness Corbett's has it's own parking lot. Breakfast does seem to be the main draw here ... no dinner served. I came here with one friend and he had the omelet, I forget which one, but it covered half the plate along with a big portion of hashbrowns. I love hashbrowns instead of those "country potatoes". He enjoyed the omelet and potatoes. I had the chicken fried steak slathered in a wonderful gravy. OK, not the healthiest breakfast, but what the heck every once in a while. Service was just fine and friendly. If I'm in the area, I'd come here again, maybe the lunches would be something to try.

Corbetts was delicious and can't believe I waited this long to try them. My sandwich was very moist and fresh along with the sweet potato fries. Service was friendly and quick. Felt very cozy and loved they had a decent size menu with a variety . I can't wait to go back !

Hungry. Then I suggest the House Omelette. It was superb! Spinach, diced tomatoes, green onions, black olives, and an Artichoke Cream Cheese!! Not a long await. Food was great, staff friendly. Glad I found this place. You won't be disappointed!!

All we could not eat because it was so bad.

The restaurant is cute, conveniently located down town but the first red flag was there were no cars. Red flag #2 was the homeless gathering up their stuff in the parking lot, they were the only homeless we saw downtown. We walked in and there were 2 people eating breakfast. Both servers were so friendly just great at what they did and so personable. I could review them separately I would. My husband ordered the tri-tip omelette special. I ordered the Carve Master Ham and Eggs. The ham was a good size slice with more fat than I have ever seen...the eggs were way overdone and inedible, the hash browns were great, the biscuit was frozen and microwaves mush, the gravy was powered. Plus I had to use my first napkin to blot up all the grease. Now the omelette...could it have been worse? Not really. The first bite was mediocre, then the meat...every bite was full of gristle and inedible. Every bite of meat had to be spit out. Five bites in and it was just too terrible to eat. The server asked what was wrong...we told her and she tried to get part refunded., We could hear the person in the back arguing with the server. I think they took off $7 so this terrible, inedible breakfast cost us over $30. We tipped the server because she tried. Avoid this place.

Tri-tip and au jus had decent flavor, unfortunately the tri-tip was very dry. I'm not sure if I'll be returning.

I'm a sucker for their Monte Cristo sandwich and my husband always gets their eggs. Their hash browns are perfectly crispy, and he likes their blackberry jam. Staff is friendly and helpful - a nice family place and outdoor area is perfect when you're traveling with a pet (our dog approved the water dish). We'll definitely be back on our next trip!

Had the BEST Monte Cristo I have EVER had!…read more We're in Redding for the weekend and turned to Yelp to find a breakfast spot--so glad it led us to Trendy's! The reviews were spot on because Trendy's did NOT disappoint. I love a good Monte Cristo and have tried a lot of them, but this one is hands-down the best I've ever had. The ham and turkey tasted like something straight out of grandma's kitchen on a special holiday, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the bread-to-meat-to-cheese ratio was absolute perfection. The service was just as amazing--Alma, our waitress, suggested I try the mango jam with it. I was hesitant (I'm usually a berry jam girl), but WOW... it was so good I ended up taking some home! My husband ordered the BEN sandwich and said it was delicious. He also had the fresh-squeezed orange juice, which brought back sweet memories of his grandma making it for him in a little amber glass when he was younger. Portion sizes are generous, prices are fair, and parking was easy--which is always a win. If you're passing through or local to the area, make sure you stop by Trendy's for breakfast or brunch. There's a reason they have so many great reviews! *REVIEW UPDATE* It was so good the first time we went back today! My Husband had the steak tacos and said they were AMAZING! I have a sensitive tummy and sometimes finding a good mix of carbs and protein can be a challenge. I ordered just a scrambled egg and since the turkey in the Monte Cristo was so good I ordered turkey all by itself for an added little protein! Dipped it in their homemade jam of course! For my carbs I ordered a pancake. (Kind of apprehensive about that from a prior review I read...) that review was way off! If that pancake was from a box please let me know who makes it cause it was so fluffy and yummy! As we sat outside we saw many people come in and out and the employees greeted many of them by name! I almost wish I lived closer so I could be a regular too! Sorry no pics This time as we are before we thought about it!

Located in the Placer Heights Plaza, next to Starbucks. Same plaza as Holiday Market and CVS Pharmacy. We were seated immediately as they were not busy. The menu was a bit different than online. Our server came to take our order. He didn't introduce himself and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We decided on the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken sandwich and catfish po' boy. When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place. There's a good amount of seating for the size of the place and they had a small bar area which I thought was a nice touch. Solid little spot of people to stop by and grab a bite to eat.
