WHEN my WISDOM TOOTH got out of the WISDOM BUSINESS and into the PAIN business!…read more One day I had a probem, literally a "pain in the neck." The next day my neck pain had moved to my jaw. "OK" "STRANGE" then my jaw pain moved to right under my wisdom tooth. OUCH!!! I decided, If the pain didn't go away by end of my work day, I was going to reach out to my dentist. The PAIN did NOT even wait until end of work day, but instead by lunch time the pain was excruciating. Uh Oh...My dentist is out of state so I decided I better get an in-state dental appointment AND QUICK! So I sent an SOS, can U HELP Me, communication to the Dental Office of Dr. Robert (Dad) and Dr. Aryn (Daughter) Jackson. They took my concern seriously and got me in with an appointment that fit my schedule ASAP. Being able to get a quick appointment allowed me to breathe a sigh of relief. EXHALE.... At my office visit I was not rushed or made to feel sQuEEZed in. I received excellent care, and assistance with my wisdom tooth issue. Dr. Jackson is knowledgeable and so entertaining. If he wasn't a dentist, he could be a stand-up comedian! Laughs helped me and helped calm me, when I was concerned about my mouth. I am a DFW pharmacist of OVER 30 years. I know EXCEPTIONAL healthcare and EXCEPTIONAL bedside manner. Dentist Robert Jackson, Susan Jackson (Office Manager), and Team get my HIGHEST RATING and BIGGEST THANK YOU! A City Doctor with a hometown CARING practice. LOVE it! I am ALL BETTER NOW! Smile.....

After a couple of mandatory corona related postponements, I was glad to finally make it in to have…read moremy teeth cleaned and get some TLC for my back molar that decided to detach its decades old crown and live without a cap for a while (actually, it was a long while). Dr. Hubble and his staff has always been top notch, in my book. I've been to lots a dentists over years, usually prefering a car wreck over dental work. Not so, with Dr. Hubble. His work is excellent. He does state of the art crowns in just one day. Sooo much better than having to sit through making a molding of your teeth with a big blob of nasty road tar, then wearing a temporary aluminum cap for a week while waiting for a lab to make the permanent one. I swear those things would pick up broadcasts of The Lone Ranger! His prices are really reasonable, too. Anyway, the cleaning went pretty well. No cavities! But, had to wait until the end to hear that there wouldn't be any polishing because that causes too many tiny airborne droplets. Unfortunately, it was time for that back molar to vacate the premises. The procedure was pretty quick and was painless. Dr. Hubble explained that a clot would form in the hole that had been home to Mr. Tooth (sorry if this is TMI) and that I really needed to be sure to keep it in the hole. If anything happened to it, I should let him know and we would "take it from there". When I got home, of course, I went to the world wide web to learn more about the tragic consequences of losing your clot. As you might have guessed, my due diligence was not good enough. I called to report this new development and was told that its no big deal. It happens to thousands of people every day, all over the world. So, I pulled up my big boy pants and "took it from there". LOL! Happy ending, it all turned out alright. Can't wait to come back and see you again, Dr. Hubble!

Deceptive billing practices, unbundled fees, and refusal to honor in-network contracts…read more I strongly caution anyone considering this office to thoroughly audit your treatment plans and cross-check every single code with your insurance carrier before agreeing to treatment. I came in for an emergency visit regarding a fractured upper molar (#14). Rather than focusing on immediate relief, I was handed a bloated treatment plan totaling over $5,600 that was aggressively bundled with non-essential, out-of-pocket add-ons: immediate implant placement, bone grafting, biologic materials, gingival irrigations, and prescription rinses. The billing issues became unacceptable when I prioritized my care and stated I only wanted to move forward with the necessary extraction (CDT D7210) and deep cleaning in that quadrant:  1. Refusal to Honor In-Network Rates: The official printed estimate they gave me listed the in-network contracted fee for code D7210 as $247.00 (discounted from $450). Yet, when I declined the high-profit implant and bone graft, they suddenly told me the extraction alone would be $343.00 out of pocket, an arbitrary upcharge with zero itemized explanation.  2. Fabricating "Medical Insurance" Claims: When Aetna Member Services contacted the office to investigate why they were charging above the contracted rate and providing a $0 insurance estimate, the office claimed they were "submitting to medical". This was completely false. I never provided medical insurance information, every code on their estimate was a standard dental CDT code with their fees & what the insurance covered, and my plan explicitly covers surgical extractions at 80% under Type B dental benefits with a barely touched $2,000 maximum.  3. Contradicting Their Own Past Precedent: This exact office previously billed my husband's surgical extraction directly through our same Aetna Dental PPO plan with zero issues. Coming up with a story about "medical billing" only when I declined thousands of dollars in elective restorative work is glaringly evasive.  When a patient is in pain with a cracked tooth, an ethical practice does not use confusion, contradictory pricing, and fee inflation to pressure them into high-ticket procedures. I canceled all upcoming appointments for myself and my family, and I have filed a formal Provider Contract Non-Compliance Grievance with Aetna. I'm providing every piece of paperwork & text messages to the relations department as we speak. Save yourself the stress, double-check your EOBs, and find a provider who operates with billing transparency and puts patient care ahead of production quotas.

I'm impressed beyond words by Dr. Amos' attention to details, his passion to produce the perfect outcomes for his patients and above all, his patience while working with his patients. When I initially approached him with my dental correction request, he did not begin to market and convince me to get the veneers done through his office. He referred me to a different Orthodontic and encouraged me to do the required research. After several weeks of research, consulting & comparing other dental service providers, I returned to Dr. Amos and discussed my decision. He gave me better pricing and did an outstanding job. He very patiently answered all my questions, understood my anxieties and continues to maintain a consistent and safe space of support. Dr. Amos, Becca & Meggan have placed a permanent smile on my face and I'm forever grateful to this team

Dr. Daniel was able to get me in the next day without hesitation. I have spent a sickening amount of money and time at different dentists, and have always felt shameful for the issues I have because they lacked good bedside manner. He was extremely kind and assured me we'd get things fixed right up! I'm extremely thrilled with my experience at D. Dental and look forward to future treatments. On multiple occasions they been so flexible and have worked to squeeze me in. My last visit with them was a few months ago, and I wanted to get some deep cleaning done before my brother's wedding. They worked around my schedule on short notice to find what would work for me, which I was honestly amazed by. Both front desk people are awesome, Dr. Sokransky is very informative and exceptionally skilled - what I appreciate the most is that he doesnt try to sell you any procedure that you dont need. He actually cares, and practices with great integrity. Never had any uncomfortable or painful experience when VS Dental handled my teeth. He's the kindest, funniest, and most skillful dentist! And did I mention he is the most honest dentist! He will never try to sell you something that is not in your best interest. I asked him for more work and he could have easily said yes (and did it like my previous dentists did) but he suggested I don't do as the cosmetic work I inquired about would ultimately be harmful and require more costly repairs/upkeep down the road. He said my teeth are healthy and fine so why mess that up! I've been to dentists that jumped at doing these types of cosmetic procedures (usually their suggestion) since they break down over time but never did they mention that it damages your teeth in the process. Dr. Sokransky is the best- he really cares about you and puts the patient first over profits!
