There are few bad things I must share with you. Not skilled - I do not know how good the Dr. is. due to my kids were treated by assistants. According to my two kids 10 yrs, and 14 yrs old, they were not skilled at all. And, asked me to go back to other place they used to go. Long Wait - We went there on time, but we had to wait 40 min without getting any status update. This was a sign. We should have left when we had chance. Scam - Before we went there, we submitted insurance info and they confirmed of acceptance. We went in at 4:20, and got out at 6:20. They asked me to pay $160 upfront as they were not able to confirm the insurance. Something not right because they confirmed it before they book the appointment. They said that they can't confirm due to office is closed. They had 80 min to call insurance company (between 4:20 - 6 pm) earlier. Why they have to say it after they finished treatment? (they were talking about quitting the job. So, I assume they were not paying attention on paper works. Or, they don't know how to verify the insurance). I was told that refund will be issued once they contact the insurance company. They didn't contact me next day. I called insurance company myself to find out. Insurance was active. In turned out that dental office decided not to claim through insurance because they got cash already. It is scam, right? Anyway, I filed dispute charge. If I win, I get money back. If I lose, I don't know what to do yet.

I do not recommend this office. I called because of the strong Yelp reviews, but unfortunately, my…read moreexperience was the opposite. This was a one-minute phone call, and it was enough to turn me off. I explained that we had already done a consultation with another oral surgeon in Saginaw and were shocked by their request for $2,000 upfront, which is why I was calling around for options. Before I could even explain further, the woman immediately cut in with, "Wisdom teeth removal is $4,000-$6,000," which felt dismissive and rushed. When I asked how that could apply to an insured patient--since in-network providers are limited to insurance-allowed amounts--she clarified that was the cash price, not the insured price. I explained that we have insurance and even dual dental coverage. She then told me they only bill the primary insurance, expect patients to pay the balance up front, and require the patient to file the secondary insurance themselves. While this may be common with some private dental offices in DFW, that doesn't make it reasonable. National dental groups understand how to bill properly by submitting both insurance plans and only collecting what they reasonably expect the final patient balance to be. In our case, that meant going from being asked to pay $2,000 upfront elsewhere to paying $300 upfront, with the expectation that the full amount would likely be refunded once secondary insurance processed. When I declined to continue the conversation, her response was a cold, uninterested "Have a good day." No explanation, no attempt to discuss options, and no effort to retain a potential patient. I never even got to this office's actual pricing because I was being rushed off the phone. For comparison, I contacted Monarch Dental, and the experience was night and day. They reviewed both insurance plans over the phone, gave a clear explanation, and booked my son's surgery in under 48 hours. The surgeon's reviews were excellent, and the process was seamless. We're now booked and moving forward--but this office lost a potential customer due to poor communication and lack of patient care. Final recommendation: if you have secondary insurance or want clear billing and options, proceed with caution here. National dental groups offer a far smoother, more patient-centered experience.

Unfortunately, the medical assistant minimized both my discomfort and my complex medical history. While Dr. Simpson himself was comforting and reassuring during the appointment, the office completely abandoned my care after I left. Knowing my medical history is complicated, I understood it might take time to plan the procedure, but after following up at least 3 times, no one ever bothered to call me back. I finally found a new oral surgeon. When I called Stonebriar to have the records from my "free" consultation transferred, they demanded I pay for the scans. Upon checking my insurance, I discovered they had actually billed my insurance provider for the consultation and attempted to bill for the scans as well. This office feels like a money-making machine rather than a practice that caters to anxious patients. This entire process has been extremely stressful, unprofessional, and unreliable.

After a couple of mandatory corona related postponements, I was glad to finally make it in to have…read moremy teeth cleaned and get some TLC for my back molar that decided to detach its decades old crown and live without a cap for a while (actually, it was a long while). Dr. Hubble and his staff has always been top notch, in my book. I've been to lots a dentists over years, usually prefering a car wreck over dental work. Not so, with Dr. Hubble. His work is excellent. He does state of the art crowns in just one day. Sooo much better than having to sit through making a molding of your teeth with a big blob of nasty road tar, then wearing a temporary aluminum cap for a week while waiting for a lab to make the permanent one. I swear those things would pick up broadcasts of The Lone Ranger! His prices are really reasonable, too. Anyway, the cleaning went pretty well. No cavities! But, had to wait until the end to hear that there wouldn't be any polishing because that causes too many tiny airborne droplets. Unfortunately, it was time for that back molar to vacate the premises. The procedure was pretty quick and was painless. Dr. Hubble explained that a clot would form in the hole that had been home to Mr. Tooth (sorry if this is TMI) and that I really needed to be sure to keep it in the hole. If anything happened to it, I should let him know and we would "take it from there". When I got home, of course, I went to the world wide web to learn more about the tragic consequences of losing your clot. As you might have guessed, my due diligence was not good enough. I called to report this new development and was told that its no big deal. It happens to thousands of people every day, all over the world. So, I pulled up my big boy pants and "took it from there". LOL! Happy ending, it all turned out alright. Can't wait to come back and see you again, Dr. Hubble!

Deceptive billing practices, unbundled fees, and refusal to honor in-network contracts…read more I strongly caution anyone considering this office to thoroughly audit your treatment plans and cross-check every single code with your insurance carrier before agreeing to treatment. I came in for an emergency visit regarding a fractured upper molar (#14). Rather than focusing on immediate relief, I was handed a bloated treatment plan totaling over $5,600 that was aggressively bundled with non-essential, out-of-pocket add-ons: immediate implant placement, bone grafting, biologic materials, gingival irrigations, and prescription rinses. The billing issues became unacceptable when I prioritized my care and stated I only wanted to move forward with the necessary extraction (CDT D7210) and deep cleaning in that quadrant:  1. Refusal to Honor In-Network Rates: The official printed estimate they gave me listed the in-network contracted fee for code D7210 as $247.00 (discounted from $450). Yet, when I declined the high-profit implant and bone graft, they suddenly told me the extraction alone would be $343.00 out of pocket, an arbitrary upcharge with zero itemized explanation.  2. Fabricating "Medical Insurance" Claims: When Aetna Member Services contacted the office to investigate why they were charging above the contracted rate and providing a $0 insurance estimate, the office claimed they were "submitting to medical". This was completely false. I never provided medical insurance information, every code on their estimate was a standard dental CDT code with their fees & what the insurance covered, and my plan explicitly covers surgical extractions at 80% under Type B dental benefits with a barely touched $2,000 maximum.  3. Contradicting Their Own Past Precedent: This exact office previously billed my husband's surgical extraction directly through our same Aetna Dental PPO plan with zero issues. Coming up with a story about "medical billing" only when I declined thousands of dollars in elective restorative work is glaringly evasive.  When a patient is in pain with a cracked tooth, an ethical practice does not use confusion, contradictory pricing, and fee inflation to pressure them into high-ticket procedures. I canceled all upcoming appointments for myself and my family, and I have filed a formal Provider Contract Non-Compliance Grievance with Aetna. I'm providing every piece of paperwork & text messages to the relations department as we speak. Save yourself the stress, double-check your EOBs, and find a provider who operates with billing transparency and puts patient care ahead of production quotas.

Dr. Vu is nice, patient and she explains everything very thoroughly. She answered all of my questions and she helped me with the anxiety that I always get when coming to the dentist. First, the X-ray machine keep hitting the back of my head and swiping my ponytail as Kevron took X-rays. I took my ponytail down and the machine still painfully swiped the back of my head as it was going around. Kevron was nice and he apologized to me for it. He said that he wished they would make the machines wider and I could tell that it was not his fault. I soldiered on because I was in pain, and I needed to figure out the problem. Initially, Dr. Vu did not see any bone loss or periodontal problems when she examined my teeth/x-rays. She did not tell me anything about those issues I requested my cleaning. I have several wisdom teeth that need to be removed and an infection in 2 of my back teeth on the bottom as my wisdom teeth grew into those teeth. The dental hygenist said that she was only going to polish my top teeth because she did not want to spread the infection around. I agreed. Then, the dental hygienist discovered periodontal problems and bone loss in my teeth and gums. I had periodontal problems before and Mint dentistry deep cleaned my teeth and gums. The dental hygenist proceeded to check each tooth and she argued back and forth with Dr. Vu about the number for each of my teeth as the she was poking and prodding on each one of my teeth. It was so bad that Dr. Vu told her to stop poking me as they debated about the number for my teeth. I was already in severe pain and I have a long treatment plan ahead of me. I was already upset and anxious about the procedures that lay ahead of me and this did not help make things any better. Needless to say- this visit did not help me with my dental anxiety. I left with mild pain meds that are not helping as I wait for my oral surgery. I am writing this review in PAIN... still. As soon as this oral surgery is scheduled and over with I am OUT OF HERE. THEY ARE SO UNORGANIZED.
