I stopped by this location for a quick fix to my glasses and received the best service from Optician, Alexis Misquez. Alexis was extremely nice and provided me with an awesome experience during my visit. When I dropped off my glasses, Alexis took my number and told me she would call me when my glasses were repaired. Before I made it back home, she called to inform me that my glasses were ready for pick up. Overall my experience was great. That's a horrible experience to change my lenses there.Let me wait over 1 months and then when I went to pick up, the lenses are for distance NOT for computer what I asked.It's the wrong prescription from Dr.Michael Corben.Even he can't sure the results of my eyes exam and had to reschedule with his son (Dr.Joshua Corben) for double checking.It's wasting bunch of time there.Due to his wrong prescription,their stuff even can't reorder the replacement because Dr.Michael Corben didn't enter the results of eye exam into their system for reading / computer lenses at all.When I went to pick up with my 2 years daughter,their staff asked me do the eye exam again for reading / computer lenses. Dr. Joshua Corben was professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with and answered all of my many questions. His staff was also very friendly and helpful. I had a free eye exam from my insurance (United Healthcare). The other choices were mainly big box optical departments like Walmart Optical or franchises like Lens Crafters. Corben Optometry had much better Yelp reviews and thus the choice was easy. If I didn't have insurance I would pay extra money to go to Corben Optometry for my exam because my eyes are worth it. read more

I could honestly care less about whatever cynical calculations these doctors have made to conduct their business this way. Because no matter how you slice it, it's disgusting. I saw Dr. Josh for my annual checkup. Not only is he professional, personable, and beyond capable, he sincerely cares about his patients. There is no rush, and he spends as much time as needed (unlike other doctors who want you in and out because of the next patient). A friend recommended Corben optometry to me over 10 years ago. I have been using their services for over 10 years and have always been satisfied with their excellent customer service! They are always very helpful in the selection of new glasses that fit well and look great on me. More importantly it was at Corben Optometry that it was detected that there might be an issue with my optic nerve. I was later referred to a specialist and diagnosed with glaucoma. I'm very thankful that Dr. Corben had the expertise to recognize that there was a problem with my eyes and while other eye specialist told me my eyes were fine he persisted until I was finally properly diagnosed and received proper treatment. I barely ever write reviews on yelp, but I went here on Saturday for a 10:30am appointment, I came early and they saw me early, which is always a bonus. Dr Michael Corben, great attitude and really reminded me of the Optometrists I saw as a kid in the UK. Took his time and thoroughly helped out, he had to step out for 5 mins to help a pregnant lady, which I thought was great and didn't mind a bit. The office staff were great, one lady from Chile helped me out (sorry cant remember her name). She kept her distance while I looked which I appreciate. I hate to be hounded while looking for glasses. She was knowledgeable and wasn't pushy in the least in trying to upsell me on extras, although she mentioned them which is fine. I've read some people think the prices here are high. I can only assume those people have got their glasses for 2for1 deals at walmart. For my new eye exam, frames, glasses, Anti-glare and new sunglass len's for my older frames it was $400 total. For me that's very cheap considering I spent $600 at lenscrafters for my test and one pair of glasses. Bare in mind I wear glasses for 3 years everyday, so I dont die on the way home from work in a fiery car crash cause i'm blind otherwise lol, seriously that's $11 a month over 3 years. Hardly an expense for someone most people need. My only complaint is that I wished i'd heard of them sooner. Lastly, they have about as many glasses as Lenscrafters, but the real difference is that they have many more brands to choose from with most brands being European, which is a plus. At Lenscrafters I only found one pair of Persol glasses I liked, at this place I was able to pick out 10 I immediately liked. read more

Had a great experience! I was warmly greeted by lovely staff at the front desk and throughout the visit. During this particular visit, was given the option to choose who would conduct my exam, Dr Josh Corbin or Dr Corbin Sr. I randomly chose Dr. Josh. Conducted a fast and thorough exam, really heard me out and was flexible, suggested changing from monthlies to dailies (contacts) because I get pink eye (yuck) very frequently from working with preschoolers. Even scheduled a follow up visit to make sure the contacts were a good fit for me. The staff was very helpful in choosing glasses, very fashion forward women who aren't just trying to make a sale and are willing to help you stay within your price range. Overall, a great experience, looking forward to my follow up visit next week. Only downside: parking is kinda sketchy, not very many spaces especially with my ultra wide crown vic. I want to mention after 17 years I am back to reading 20/20 with my new contacts! The credit goes to Dr.Joshua Corben who was extremely patient in getting my correct fitted lenses. My vision is very bad with high astigmatism in one eye and nearsightedness and other eye with high nearsightedness with lower astigmatism. Had my eyes operated when I was 5 years old and doctors told me I would have to wear glasses the rest of my life. My vision got worse in my 30's and my optometrist retired so I went to see two new doctors who couldn't keep my vision at 20/20 my vision reduced to 20/30. After pandemic I skipped going to the optometrist and just a few weeks ago I decided to see a new doctor. Found Doctor Joshua Corben who said he would do his best to evaluate my needs. After adjusting my eye prescription & fitting me with different contact lenses and giving me time to try different ones he chose Biofinity by Cooperviision for me. Dr. Joshua Corben brought my vision back to 20/20... after 17 years it feels great to see much clearer again! 20/30 to 20/20 still makes a difference! I needed something for reading and purchased a pair of "cheaters" which worked well but I knew one eye was better than the other and this could not last long. I am a very busy mommy and my husband drives for a living, so it's very hard to find time in our schedules. They always seem very patient with me while I'm booking. Everybody at Corben Optometry was absolutely fantastic. I went in this morning to find they've put new precautions in place due to COVID. Only one customer is allowed in the office at a time, your temperature was taken at the door, and you were given a new mask and gloves. They request no cellphone usage while in their office and everything was spotless. I watched a technician clean the entire exam room before I entered and Dr. Corben was wearing a face mask and protective face shield. I truly appreciated how serious they were taking the pandemic.
