Strawberry banana pancakes
Mat G.

Is it so bad to order a two course meal at a breakfast spot? I started off by ordering strawberry banana pancakes with a side of some delicious ham, then followed it up by ordering a strawberry crepe with creme anglaise. Both were delicious and I was well deserving of a hard earned nap afterwards

This visit was a disappointment I realized what a difference the service makes The food was ok Ordered eggs Benedictine and goat cheese omelette with coffee The server was indifferent in a bad mood didn't show up to take orders and didn't refill my coffee Had to ask him for it and then he did it looking irritated The food too was nothing to write home about It was warm well hot inside the restaurant The temperature inside showed as 78 This was a freaking out experience

Drove 20 minutes to reach this as the place was praised by a friend . Got seating in 5 minutes of entry . Browsing menu was confusing as the menu is very elaborative n u miss what's good here . Ended up ordering Goat cheese tomato Bacon Omelette with multigrain bread . Found the focus is more on presentation of food than the quality and taste . Omelette looked different than what was shown in the menu . Bacon was hard to find !!!!! Irritating. Not worth the drive to specially to come to this . I prefer Sunset Grill to Cora's. Also it's steeply priced and experience was not good.

10 star omelette

I came here with a friend for breakfast. When we arrived, there was already a line up. However, the line went fast enough and in 15 minutes, when we alerted them that we were 2 people, they quickly seated us to a table. Unfortunately, the seat wasn't ideal because it was a table in the center and servers were busy moving on both sides of the table. Our server was very nice and attentive. She introduced herself, took our orders and checked in to make sure we were enjoying the food. There were a lot of options with many visuals, so there was something for everything. I ordered the LOVE smoothie (it was a Mother's Day special as I found out later) and the 10 star omelette. The smoothie was very sweet. The nutella (?) that was included in smoothie was all the way at the bottom so I couldn't actually taste until the end. But it was nevertheless a nice blend. The 10 star omelette was well done; it was not overcooked. The omelette also came with potatoes, fruits and toast. They provided us with hot sauce, ketchup and jams. The meal was definitely filling - it was more than enough for breakfast. Yes, the meals were a bit pricy, but it was a decent breakfast and I would come back maybe on a less busy time. Recommended!

Came here for a weekday breakfast and had to wait at least 10 minutes to be seated. The restaurant wasn't too busy but they may have been short on servers. Our waitress made up for it by bringing coffee right away. The menu is massive so it took a while to choose what we wanted. I settled on the sweet and savory option which was a half waffle with fruit and custard, eggs, potatoes, bacon, and toast. It was pricey for breakfast but the portions were HUGE! Hot food arrived hot and the fruit was still crisp and cool. My aunt's rye bread had a green mold spot so that was disappointing but the waitress was quick to apologize and put a new slice in the toaster for her and told us she threw away the rest of the moldy loaf. I would come back for waffles and fruit but the other savory breakfast foods were just okay, nothing special. But dang, lots of other menu items to try!

The place was busy and 2 families were waiting to get in before us. We were seated in about 10 minutes. While going to the table we had to step over food on the floor...not just crumbs, but chunks of eggs, lettuce, etc. Cleaning off tables is not enough between customers...big messes on floors should also be cleaned. The person who seated us did not acknowledge us until she was taking us to our seats and she just put the menus on the table and walked away with no comment or smile. Our server, Matina, was polite, friendly and helpful even though she also was clearly very busy. The food was mediocre today. We have been eating here for years and 3 of us were quite underwhelmed today. Hubby had the 7th of July....fruit on French toast on a crepe. Very basic. I had the Penelope, no cheese...eggs, black bean patty and veggies on a buckwheat/sorghum crepe with potatoes on the side. It was bland and too big. I suppose some people like huge portions but half would have been enough. One son had a burger....it was huge and looked great but he said he got sick of it after eating half. The meat made him feel unwell and hubby said the same after trying it. My other son had some sort of big breakfast with waffles, toast, bacon, sausage. He enjoyed his meal. I think if we stick to our regular items next time, fruit crepes, pancakes, etc. We should be ok. I guess they leave their portion sizes huge because most customers like it that way.

Spinach crepe with cheese
Pinkyfoxe ..

I used to come here regularly. Today I paid $20 for a buckwheat spinach cheese crepe at Cora's. Found out that my home fries no longer come with my meal, I had to pay $3:25 for it. The crepe came out like a pancake, barely any spinach and the cheese was not enough melted inside my food. Potatoes were not well done and my gf's eggs on her eggs Benedict was undercooked. It was busy inside so perhaps that why our $38 meal looked and tasted less than mediocre. There were no utensils or condiments either, I got lucky that I had a fork and knife pack in my car from another take out place. Unappetizing food and a huge disappointment.

This is my friend favourite breakfast place so I decided to take her there for a birthday brunch. I felt so bad because the food was very cold and the quality is just not the same anymore. After paying we stayed for a few minutes to finish our tea and coffee. While sitting we heard our server Vivian explaining the loyalty card to 3 tables but failed to mention anything to us. I wonder why??????

Hadn't been to Cora's in years but decided to go today (Friday) with some work people to celebrate a special birthday. It was pretty empty so we were able to get a booth right away at 1130. They have a special lunch menu on weekdays only from 11am but 3 of us ordered from the breakfast menu. One of my friends ordered from the lunch menu getting the club sandwich and gave it a 3/5 so I would recommend you stick with the breakfast. I got my usual which is the spinach cheddar crepe omelette with the hollandaise on the side, multigrain toast and fruit. I also had the crepe made with buckwheat (you can also get whole wheat if you wish). It was just as I remembered. Delicious! Other orders were the 1990s harvest ((cinnamon brioche with lots of fruit) and the Cora's special (eggs, bacon, ham, crepe, toast, fruit, potatoes. Both ladies gave a 4/5 on their breakfasts. For 4 meals, 3 coffees plus tax and tip came to about 70 bucks. Good service and good food. Worth checking out!

I've experienced better! Its been a quite a while for me eating at cora's as I have been going to other breakfast places. Well this time at work we decided to have lunch at Cora's. The place itself is designed very good and has a lot of seating available. The decor is quite colorful. The server was nice and quite friendly. She also brought the food in a decent time. The menu seems to have shrunk over the year and seemed a little little on breakfast choices compared to other restaurants. But still enough choices to choose from. I went with there lunch special - Chef's choice of omelette with lentil soup, salad, potatoes and toast. The lentil soup came first and it was good and warn. Then came the rest of the stuff and the omelette was quite big and done up nicely. The salad was ok and seemed to have some canned vegs. Whereas, potatoes were no the best. Over all the meal was filling and was quite light on the pocket as well. My friends on the other hand had Pancakes and a massive cheese omelet with potatoes and that was decent as well. Their pancake portions is good for at least 2 people.

Well done my ass

Recommend the signature sandwich which was incredible. Holy Cow was so filling and the meat was juicy and tender. Had the smashed potatoes with both sauces better than old school fries. The flavor was just bursting out of these little potatoes. Washing it down with the house made lemonade elixir was a treat as they make it in house. The next time I have to try the salad bowls or the Blazin beef. Highly recommended to all my friends if you are in the area.

I know a lot of people have reservations paying top dollar for just a sandwich, but I'd say the quality of ingredients and flavourful sauces is totally worth it. I always get the holy cow sandwich with vamp sauce, but will occasionally get the chicken sandwich with lunar sauce. I did try the lemonade they had once, but to be honest, it doesn't quite fit my palate. The lemonade has some sort of seasoning in it. If you've had lemonade from East Asian restaurants, you would kind of know what to expect. They also give you a discount card that you can show for an extra 15% off when you visit. If you're in the area looking for a quick bite, I'd give this place a shot.

Nice and clean inside, the staff was friendly and very helpful with the menu. I decided to get a karaage side dish and a bbq pulled pork sandwich. The fried chicken was nicely seasoned and complimented with the mayo dip. The bbq pulled pork was very tasty but was a bit messy to eat with the sauce and the bun. Overall, I think this place is good and would love other things on the menu especially their milkshakes.

Mind you the reviews were all old over a year ago. Since COVID I do noticed most restaurants quality post COVID has gone down. Ambiance: It's pretty small with a few tables. Decor is pretty cute and modern. Also super clean with one unisex washroom. You order at the counter and seat yourself like a fast food place. Service: Service was good. The lady took our order and the food came pretty quick. We also got there at 1:30pm so it was empty. Food: We ordered a easy as pie milkshake which is like you apple pie in a milkshake! Pretty cool idea. The pics on the website looks great. However in reality it didn't look like the website pic at all. Just white milkshake. There are tiny chunks of apple/ cookies and a hint of cinnamon. But overall tasteless and not sweet. It's was like I was drinking ice milk with some texture. I was not impressed. We only took a couple of sips and it left a weird after taste so we didn't end up finishing it To share we got the Kimchi poutine. It was essentially fries that were not that crispy soaked with Kimchi and some mayo on top. It was ok a little underwhelming. The 3 sandwiches we got were different so we can try them all: 1. Sriracha honey Karaage chicken sandwich. The chicken was a bit soggy maybe from the sauce. The bun was fresh. The lettuce inside was a bit wilted. 2. Pho beef banh mi sandwich. The beef was a bit dry and the banh mi was tasteless with no flavour 3. Bbq pull pork sandwich. It was sweet and flavourful but again too much sauce made the sandwich a bit soggy. Pricing is fair. But probably won't come back. For $50 I can get better food elsewhere.

Finally! Jimmy Johns is in Ontario, and it's in my neighborhood, too sweet!…read more My first exposure to Jimmy Johns was when i got sent to Minneapolis St Paul (USA) and Jimmy Johns was across the street from my hotel. Came here on a super rainy day and was instantly annoyed with the layout of the restaurant in comparison to the parking lot, I feel like them retrofitting into this space, really didn't do them any favors, when I trekked through grass and mud to get to the door, I realized I parked on the wrong side of the building, even worse as you only have a walk way for one side? We finally got into the restaurant, and out of the rain and instantly the smell brought me back to both visits at MSP. a lot has changed in my diet where 80% of the menu I can't enjoy anymore. they also offer a toasted subs now, and I got one of the few items that wasn't available for this option, of course! Service was great, order was placed and we were in and out in ten minutes or so. The bread is absolutely killer, took me back to seven years ago, in MSP crazy good flavor and freshness for a throw back The parking lot is a huge negative for this spot, and warrants me not making this a five/five situation. being across from the mall, plus Home Depot/Wal-Mart and a bunch of smaller stores and restaurants in the mix, to get in and out of this section is nuts, and much like this super rainy night, not a lot of dedicated parking for Jimmy Johns Definitely an experience everyone should try, wish it was in the mall instead will be back!

Of course we know Firehouse subs is one of the elites but I always feel like doo doo after eating a Firehouse sub. None of that at a Jimmy Johns though! I felt great! Lol I ordered a 6 inch (Regular) Italian Night Club and added Jimmy peppers, which are essentially banana peppers but better. Such a great sub and all the flavours pop and work. The meat tastes like quality and they're not stingy (cough *subway* cough). I added some mustard on some of the bites and that made everything pop even more. Bread was nice and soft but not soggy. A great sub, all around. The service was extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well. Sorry Firehouse, I'm a Jimmy John's girl now!

Hello fellow foodies I got an amazing review for you today..I just love italian veal sandwiches…read more, definitely my favorite type sandwich and I have tried them from most places in the GTA . I was told by a family member to try out Cosimos deli veal , so i was in the area so decided to stop in and try out there italian veal sandwich. This italian deli is tucked away in a small plaza on the north side of dundas just past Mavis rd ..its almost easy to not see this deli but look for the yellow sign on the end of building . It's an amazing elderly italian couple that runs the place , she does the cooking and he works along side in deli with her serving these marvelous veal sandwiches. They remind me of my grandparents just amazing people with love for there food and for there customers. So friendly so amazing. Food 5/5 let's just start by saying if I could rate it higher then 5 I would it's just that good . First of all it dosnt get more authentic as far a italian veal goes. The bread is the real italian deal , not like the kinda buns you get at Californias , this is real italian loaf crunchy crust on outside and soft on inside, home made style just like mama makes. The veal was tender perfectly cooked not greasy so flavorful I couldn't believe how great the veal tasted with a nice coating of there homemade tomato sauce , I have to say the sauce was just incredible . Topped with there perfectly seasoned grilled onions green peppers and a few hot peppers in an olive oil base that soaked so nicely into that amazing bread . He also sliced two fresh slices from a big block of provolone cheese , and heated up sandwich in oven to melt the cheese . This is now by far the best best veal sandwich I have ever had and I now have my goto place for italian veal sandwiches. The veal was $10 but to be honest I would gladly pay $20 for this sandwich it's just that good people. My pictures speak for themselves as you can see. Service 5/5 again if I could give the service rating for this place more then 5/5 rating it totally deserves it. The elderly couple that run this place are genuinely so nice and you can see how much passion and love goes into there food and customer satisfaction..The man even offered me an espresso while I was waiting for my sandwich . I dosnt get any nicer then that ..please get to this place and support this couple and deli they are top notch . Try them out and enjoy the best veal in town by far
