I came here straight from the airport to get a tasty grill-type meal on the beach. I think the prices are very affordable for food directly on the beach. The burger was well made, fresh, and flavorful with fresh veg on it. It's situated on a beautiful beach and you can also rent chairs and umbrellas there at an affordable price as well! We walked down the beach to this outdoor cafe for breakfast three times while visiting the island. Large food portions share unless you're really hungry. Very nice deck and plastic dinning which is beach friendly. The surrounding beach is so nice and clean. There was one bathroom close to the bar and then a couple others in parking lot. The water to wash your sandy off was in the opposite direction. Tons of parking. The trolley stops here too. read more

Very disappointed! Walked up to order food at 352p on a Sunday. The web site says open til 5pm. We stood at register waiting in line while they serviced another customer. Is she walked away from the register to go pick up her order they looked at me and said we're closed and could not take my order. I looked at my clock and just turned 4 PM. Said that they close on Sundays at 4 PM. They turned away at least five people waiting in line. All of us were standing there waiting to place an order you think that they would've told us or yelled out before 4 o'clock to say that they were closing. But the confusing part is the website says open till 5 PM and on Google as well. So basically money lost in an off-season month, misleadingly information and terrible customer service! read more

Great location on the beach, but the service was really poor and the food mediocre. It's a casual place and it would have been a nice place for a Sunday breakfast but they absolutely need to remove the older woman with blue framed glasses from interactions with the public. I asked where the utensils were (since no one gave us any when they brought the food) and she was rude and unfriendly. She was the same with others in our party. read more

The view is amazing you're right on the beach and can get onto sand right away. They have outdoor seating. There isn't anywhere to eat in this spot except here so glad we could grab a bite. Cute little beachside food spot! They offered both takeout and dine-in (note: actually entirely outdoors) food options and a beer cart nearby if iced tea or pop aren't what you're looking for. I got the fish and chips platter while my partner had the chicken tenders. I'm told the tenders were "meh", but the fish was to die for! It was fresh and very moist. They take your order and assign a number, and when your food is ready they bring it out to you. Our food was ready in minutes! I was very happy with them and would go back for sure. Fabulous end to warm beach day at Coquina Beach Cafe. Opted to be a kid and get a Cherry Lime Snow cone, as to not ruin dinner of course. Memories!! At least this time it came in a plastic cone container vs ice cream truck paper one. Easier to eat all the way to the bottom without leaking, nice! They had other beachfront food offerings and was tempted by local grouper fish tacos or old school classics like chicken fingers and cheese fries. I gave it another chance today with hopes that this year the tenders would be better than the last 2 winter visits. Nope! They are all breading and so hard. Use to truly be tender and meaty. We stopped here on Dec 30th around 1:00 pm. There are 2 lines. 1 for food and 1 for alcohol. Both are extremely slow. This cafe is ok food wise. We got a seafood platter and it was enough for 2 people to share. Food was ok but not delicious. I think the rude people in line made the experience worse plus we were both suffering from low blood sugar and we were just tired by the time we got there. We thought it would be quick and easy and hopefully cheap. It's not. They have some items that are reasonably priced but the seafood is as expensive here as it is in a nice restaurant. We were checking out Anna Maria Island on the free air-conditioned trolley and wanted to check out the beach, and stopped here for some cold refreshment. There was some outdoor seating right on the beach, which was a beautiful view, with the soft white sand and turquoise water, so nice. Canned beers were all $4, from Bud Light to a 16 ounce Beck's. Of course, we picked the Beck's. I had one scoop of mint chocolate chip ice cream in a waffle cone, ($4) and not only was it a generous scoop, it was very rich ice cream with an obvious high fat content with a plentiful quantity of large pieces of dark chocolate chips! Yum! There were burger, hot dog, sandwich options available that I could see that other people ordered that looked pretty decent, so next time, I wouldn't hesitate to eat here if I didn't pack a lunch for the beach. read more
