Looks like the Filipino fried chicken chain has a location here on Broadway, just W of Cambie…read more Parking here sucks. Can't help you. Staff are friendly. They have a daily special. The day I went (Tuesday) it was 2 drumsticks. Beautiful. They have both spicy and regular. Pretty juicy and not greasy at all, which was nice. Would've had way more, except there was a limit of 1 special per customer per day. Wouldn't mind trying their other stuff at some point.

What I Ordered: Chicken Family Meal…read more-10 pieces of chicken (regular and spicy) -Two large sides: Large coleslaw & Large corn -Extras: Large gravy & honey mustard sauce The regular fried chicken was crispy, well-seasoned, and juicy--not overly greasy, which is a plus. It's definitely on par with Church's Chicken in terms of quality and flavor. The spicy fried chicken, however, was not as spicy as expected. If you're someone who enjoys a real kick, you might find this underwhelming. Jollibee's spicy fried chicken is noticeably spicier, so if you're looking for that level of heat, this won't quite satisfy. Coleslaw - A standard fast-food slaw. It was fresh and crunchy, with a creamy dressing that wasn't overly sweet. Corn - Simple and buttery, a classic side that pairs well with fried chicken. Gravy - Pretty standard. A nice add-on, but nothing mind-blowing. Hi-Five Chicken is a solid option for fast-food fried chicken in the VGH/West Broadway area, especially given their competitive pricing and frequent deals. The chicken itself is good, but the spicy option could be much hotter, and they could put a little more effort into their sauces.

Highly highly recommend eating here and if nothing else, getting their churro bites, best churros…read moreI've ever had! This might be my new favorite spot to grab dinner! Mom and I both got the classic cheeseburger. The beef patty was large and cooked just right, not over done or under cooked, juicy without being too wet to soak the bun. It was great. And my waffle fries with SO DELICIOUS. Nice and crunchy and good seasoning. Mom's dill pickle fries were good but they weren't as crispy as my waffle fries, or very crispy as well, and we both agreed waffle fries are the way to go! But man, those churro bites were something else. They came out piping hot, fully loaded with cinnamon sugar, and when I bit into one, it was most delicious sweet I've ever had eating out. The outside had that signature and satisfying crunch while the inside was warm and soft. They basically melted in your mouth. The vanilla dipping sauce wasn't very sweet and fairly mild which I appreciated so it wouldn't overpower the churro taste. Mom and I were in heaven! The bucket of bacon was solid too! The bacon was thick cut and cooked well. And our waitress was super friendly too! Also the decor inside is gorgeous with all the albums and posters and photos covering the walls. We ate here around 6pm Monday night and the place was basically empty! Mom and I will definitely eat here again. Their burgers were big and tasty, their waffle fries were incredible, and those churro bites were THE BEST. Get those asap, you'll be glad you did!

If you have any dietary restrictions, or are a vegan in a omnivore group, this menu is next level! Our server Sean was so helpful, and the kitchen really took care of our needs. Delicious food, so many plantbased / dairyfree options, friendly staff, super cool decor, great tunes, fabulous patio, and a real buzz coming from the other patrons. It felt friendly. Gotta say, we were so sad when Storm Crow closed...but Leopolds is a fantastic replacement. LOVED the plantbased wings. Poutine even. Definitely making this a regular stop. Yeay for Leopolds!
