I reminded them that I had program data on my C-drive that needed to be saved. But they did not make a backup and wiped out all the information I needed to have saved. The apology I received was "We are very sorry, but at least we learned something from this." And now - and this is important for everyone - since they gave me a new operating system, they made it so I cannot install anything without administrative permissions. As a CPA working with tax and accounting software that update often, this is ridiculous. Right now I have to update my accounting software. By the time I got my boss to drop what he's doing and come to my office to enter the admin password, the accounting software said I aborted the install. So do it all over again, but the accounting software is not very patient and now by the time it's ready to install the updates, my boss is back in his office and here we go again. I've been told that this is something ATS will do on all their clients' computers when they get new computers or setups. Beware CPA firms. You will be wasting two people's billable time just to be able to install required updates on your software if you use this company. Maybe they are all like this. Hopefully our firm will find another IT company soon! Because this is ridiculous.

Over the years we have face about every possible computer problem known to man and these guys had us back up and running about as fast as you can. I called Jeff on 2/28 for a keyboard replacement for my ASUS TUF. Which has worked flawlessly for 4…read moreyears. I had picked off the backspace key and couldn't not get it back on. Apparently the whole keyboard had to be replaced. Sounds good. Was quoted 150$. Cool. Was told to come pick it up on 3/5 and that it was good to go. Got a call today 3/6 that the laptop would not turn on and apparently the ribbon cable was not connected to the motherboard. He mentioned soldering something and how it would completely break the laptop. He said That three screws were missing and asked if anyone has ever opened it before. No. It has never been opened before. Only used for school work. He said that the motherboard disconnecting was not from him because he went in from the top to replace the keyboard. FYI. Jeff. There is no way to go in from the top of the laptop. After we brought the laptop home and paying 100$ for Jeff to break my laptop we opened it up and it blatantly is visible that he flipped the motherboard over to access the keyboard and that it snapped the ribbon from the motherboard. With having a video of the laptop working fully the night before it makes it obvious that I not only paid 100$ for him to break my laptop but I also paid 100$ for him to lie to me and blame me for something he broke. 0/10 IGN. I know now not to put my faith in humanity again and assume that people have good intentions and will tell me the truth. Now I have to replace my entire laptop costing me 1k. They used to have management in the area where you could actually speak to a local person - no more, it is all centralized somewhere, god only knows where that is! When you have a question there is no one to call, only some bulk customer service email where you can wait days or even weeks for a response. Then I have encountered where that spawns off into 3 different areas and each is oblivious to what the other is doing and they pester you with more questions about your original issue which makes them way more trouble than they are worth using. In addition to this their programmers are idiots - I reported a bug in their report request interface which is going on 6+ weeks of back and forth emails for the simple notice that the report produced is not for the period requested. It makes you wonder where they are programming...Mars? Then there is the nickel and dime you to death costs - This company is NOT worth their fees....avoid them!
