We hired Copperfield Electric again, this time to install six recessed lights in our living room, and the experience was just as positive as our previous work with them. Eddie handled the lighting install and did an outstanding job. This was a challenging ceiling with multiple studs, and we had specific requirements around spacing, alignment with our existing kitchen lights, and minimizing drywall impact. Eddie was extremely patient, listened carefully to our requirements, reviewed our layout drawings with us, and worked collaboratively to plan everything before any holes were cut. We specifically asked that all wiring be fished through the light cutouts with no unnecessary drywall holes, and Eddie took the time to do it right. He completed the entire install without making any extra access holes. The lights are evenly spaced, perfectly aligned, and installed using proper IC-rated housings with dedicated junction boxes. The finished result looks clean, architectural, and honestly like the lighting has always been part of the house. Communication was clear throughout, and it was obvious Eddie takes pride in his work. I had him come out to give a quote on an electric panel upgrade (very reasonable price) because I thought that was the issue to the electricity shorting in my bedrooms and garage. He went in and checked out the electrical outlets in the garage, after I showed him a wire I had removed he realized that was the issue. The heatwave caused several outlets to stop working. Rene looked at my ancient electrical panel and suggested I replace it as soon as possible, however he got everything working. Another electrician previously evaluated my problem and said the only way to solve the issue was to replace the panel. As an older woman, I am used to repairmen trying to take advantage of me.
