The Copper Bucket is the best dive bar in the Valley. I use to live in WI and this place reminds me of home. The drinks are as cheap as they are in WI. They serve half pitchers of domestic beers for $6. I like to go here to play darts and for 50 cents we can play a game. There is nothing fancy about the place but it is a fun place to hang out and play darts. They also have a shuffleboard and pool tables but they only take cash. read more

For a little local dive bar this place is pretty good. I love how people from all walks of life come here, I love a diverse crowd. The staff is really nice too and make killer drinks. This place is great, the beer is cheap and the crowd is always good. They have darts and a pool table along with a great jukebox with anything you could ever want to hear. I didn't even have to walk inside this bar to know that this place is a s***hole. I was under the impression that this bar had great prices on drinks and a great atmosphere but I had no idea that I was going to be feel unwanted: my friend and I were stared down by two groups of men (mainly black) even before he had time to park! I waved at one of the guys and he responded: OH WAIT, I KNOW YOU!.... --- What the? No, you don't! Anyway, I arrived on Saturday night around 1:20AM after leaving another bar, but got a glimpse of the inside: dead, tough looking crowd (mostly men). There was more people arriving but definitely not the crowd I would chill and have a drink around. My friend wasn't feeling the place either. I have been trying to find a bar that reminded me of my hometown and the taverns that exist there. This is it! Every other bar I went to had awful service and snooty bartenderss. I found this hole-in-the-wall bar one Friday. To my surprise a free shuffleboard table (try to not play unless you know how to, I'm sick of teaching people). I liked it so I went back the next night with a differnet group of friends and the bartender, Rusty, remembered my name and drink of choice. That's service. The Copper Bucket. A nice little bar located in Reseda. If you want cheap drinks that pack a very nice punch, this is the bar to go to. A Captain & Coke is only $3.50 and there's almost no Coke in it. Also, $3.50 for a half pitcher of domesticated beers is a pretty good deal. There is a downfall to this bar though... They don't take credit cards or debit cards. But they do have an ATM in the bar. The biggest problem... It reminds me of going into bars in Kansas. It's got your choice of white trash and gangsters. Because of this, I didn't feel very safe. But other than that, they have dart boards, a pool table and my favorite... A shuffle board game. Place is a $*it hole and a half. It's a dirt nasty dive bar with bad bar tenders and cash only. Not to mention the crowd is aweful.

I went there last Saturday around lunch time with my wife for a quick drink. We had plans that day and did not intend on staying long. We ended up staying for most of the day. The bar is much like any other but our bartender Charlie was the difference. Not only did she make a killer bloody mary but she knew how to keep us entertained at the bar. I have been to the copper bucket a couple of times now and the male bartender (older looking guy) is the rudest bartender I have ever met. Every time I go, he is so angry and rude! The other night, he was kicking everyone out at 1:30 with people having full drinks in their hands. The bar closes at 2, let me just finish my drink and I'll be on my way, it won't take 30 minutes. Ok well if the copper bucket has been resedas "neighborhood bar since 1951" than that means that the copper bucket is pretty popular right? And a lot of people go there all the time so the bars revenue is pretty substantial. Yes it is. So why is it that the copper bucket is the worse looking bar in the valley. Why can't the owner dump some money into his or her business to accommodate the employees and the customers? This place is an awesome dive bar to drop in when you have an evening free. There's not really an average crowd here as certain nights will bring you locals, college students, people getting off work or just people looking to try out a new bar. Their drinks are relatively inexpensive and are definitely never watered down; if anything they're loaded up in a good way. The interior is a little dated in terms of decor but its part of the charm of coming to this bar. The bartenders are always super friendly and very knowledgeable if you don't know what kind of drink you want to order. The parking lot usually never fills up unless you get there late though there's always space to park. Me and my friends have had some great times here, the most memorable being when one of the bartenders gave my buddy who's an Army vet and had just returned from overseas deployment a free round of beers for his service. You can't find that level of service anywhere else in my opinion, truly a great bar. read more
