(Last visited 10/31/2021.) On our last day in Cincinnati we got invited to a brunch with some of the people we were hanging out with throughout the weekend and they were here! These are my kind of people! Here's how it went... Atmosphere/Appearance: This place has a lovely, wide-open concept, is lively and pretty big to be honest. It looks like it could double as a nightclub/lounge during the evening and night hours. It's a downtown location so there is no private parking lot so good luck with finding street parking or parking across the street in a lot you need to pay for. The inside is nicely decorated and the music was PUMPING. It's certainly an energetic brunch. Once you come in you're greeted by several booths, but then you make a right and go up a half-flight of stairs to see the bar then the buffet area. Service: This is where they lost a star. Our servers were great, but they were either spread to thin and overworked or just forgetful. We were here for the bottomless mimosas, but many times our glasses were left empty and we had to flag someone down for refills. Other than that shortcoming, everything else was great. Food: As I just mentioned this place does serve bottomless mimosas with a buffet. The buffet has all of your traditional breakfast foods as well as things like shrimp & grits, macaroni & cheese, popovers and so much more. I was very impressed at the selection and the food was delicious. The mimosas weren't juicy at all and were firing on all cylinders. Value: I can't remember what it was for the bottomless brunch, but I feel like $45.00 rings a bell. I could be wrong, but don't be stupid and be prepared. Like, unlimited food AND unlimited drinks... be prepared to spend because it's absolutely worth it. In conclusion, if and when I'm in the area again, I WILL be making a return visit to Copa. My bestie wanted to try a new place for brunch while I was in town and we made reservations here which was highly recommended. Upon arrival, the venue is very big, sufficient bar space, and seating throughout on 2 levels. I personally did my research on this place and it had mixed reviews about brunch so let me insert my $.02. 1. The food was cold, salty, and needed more of a variety for everyone's dietary needs. 2. The turkey bacon looked like it came straight out of the package and into the chafing dish (they should've been embarrassed to put that out). In other words RAW! 3. Only 1 green option on the menu. 4. The shrimp & grits lacked gravy, however the grits were real good! 5. The "champagne" was "sparkling wine (BRUT)" with flavored juices to accompany it. The buffet menu consisted of: scrambled eggs, potatoes, biscuits, chicken & waffles, fried catfish, shrimp & grits, brussels sprouts, fresh fruit and of course unlimited mimosas. I'm sure that I could've ordered drinks from the bar, however the sparkling wine kept following so it truly satisfied us completely. The brunch is $44 per person and for that price it wasn't too shabby ... oh and they give you a wristband to ensure that you paid for your brunch prior to getting food from the buffet. The chef came out to greet the crowd and we had a brief conversation. I do hope our conversation was memorable and meaningful for a better experience. Upon arrival the house music was playing in the background but as the crowds came, the DJ start spinning all of the oldie's and goodie's to get the party started. The servers were very attentive and professional. Perhaps on my next visit I can change my ratings, but for now it's a 3 for me! read more

I went to brunch at Copa while visiting Cincinnati for the weekend. Coming from Atlanta I have high expectations for brunch and Copa did not disappoint. The place had good food, good music, and good vibes. I would definitely go back. Brunch was buffet style with bottomless mimosas for $48. We were the first party there so was able to get our food before other people showed up. We ordered about 3 bottles of champagne and 5 juices. Serve was amazing. read more

I LOOOOOOVE COPA brunch!! I went for the first time a few Sundays ago and literally went back the very next week. It's buffet style, which really cuts down on the wait time (unless it's super crowded). It's bottomless mimosas, and they have so many flavors. Pineapple, mango, orange, blueberry, lots!! As far as the food it is DELICIOUS. The shrimp and grits are THE BEST! They also had really tasty waffles, fried chicken, eggs, potatoes and more. Each week the food is slightly different. Besides the food the inside is so nice! Plenty of space and they take reservations for parties. Just note that they open at noon and by 1 all the tables may be taken. So arriving early is a good idea. Although COPA is fairly new to brunch and is still working out some "kinks" it's a FANTASTIC choice and you can't go wrong. read more

I don't think I've ever been so shocked about how good a place was in Ohio in a long time. This is truly a huge win for the Cincinnati social scene. I came here for brunch while visiting a friend over the weekend. I had a sweatsuit on & I felt super underdressed as soon as I walked in. The place was filled with individuals wearing their Sunday best for sure including club wear. The music was really good & they have TVs all over the place including the huge screen facing the dance floor as soon as you walk in. It's a buffet style experience & it cost $40 including bottomless mimosas. Now I will say, my waitress wasn't the best because she walked by us many times without asking if we needed anything. You pay for the service ahead of time including the tip which clearly backfired in this case but I've learned my lesson going forward. That was honestly the only negative part about my experience. I loved everything else. The music, the people, the food & the energy in the place. This is a concept you will normally in bigger cities like NYC, DC or Dallas but you wouldn't expect that in OH at all. It felt like a day party which is something I truly appreciated. This place is lit for the 25 and under crowd. Just be sure to bring an inhaler because it gets very smoky, the alarm went off all night. He sure to dress warm because it's cold inside. Some people were standing on the tables, falling, wrecking things but everyone was enjoying themselves. The place was trashed by the end of the night. The music wasn't great unless you're from that area and are under 25. Towards the end of the night they played better music. read more

The staff were very sweet and kind, but the service was slow and the food was mediocre at best. We had high hopes based on the interesting menu, but we were disappointed. There are too many options for good Mexican in the area, we won't return. Unfortunately, I do not recommend. read more

Brunch at COPA is elite! With so many places that do brunch only a few really exceed expectations and deliver great experiences every time. We have been here a few times and each time gets better than the previous. Most recently we visited to celebrate a friends birthday and we all had a great time. I would recommend reserving a table closer to opening time so you can get your food and drinks easier because after 1-1:30 there tends to be a surge in attendance. When it comes to the food the shrimp & grits, mac & cheese, cookie crusted french toast, and Remixx wings are my absolute favorites. The mimosas are a thing of art. The mixologist at the bar (Christina might be her name) makes some great concoctions that I have seen nowhere else but here. The DJs they have really know how to curate the vibes and read the room which is a lost art and goes a long way when it comes to impacting the overall experience. I've heard that Copa has a good brunch but I have yet to try the brunch. I went on a Friday night. I assume on the weekends it turns into a club with music and you can buy drinks of course. I went with my husband and another couple. The guys went to the bar to get drinks and chat with other friends they saw. Myself and the other wife went and sat at an empty section. We laughed, jammed to the music and then eventually went to the bar with the husbands. It's spacious and you can tell it's nice if someone is hosting a party. They were playing good tunes and the drinks were good! Overall, a decent spot and I'd love to go back for brunch. read more

First off they dress code is kind of messed up. I wore diamond dress up slides. An was not allowed in. But females were allowed to wear Jordan's and sneakers. Plus heels with toes out ? I would of understood if my shoes looked like a pair of adidas slides or flip flops but they were legit dress up shoes and you could tell. So be aware before going about a dress code. I find the heels requirement discriminatory, especially since there are very dressy and classy shoes that exist. So the whole " dressing up the place " is bs. Tennis shoes aren't dressy but doesn't stop them allowing men in with such. Additionally, one of the bouncers forced a scam on my friends by requiring a $20 cover, despite no one else had to pay, including my friends and group that came earlier. Nice vibe overall once you're inside but not worth the hassle. The bartenders and other employees (the ones I came across at least) were kind and helpful. Had no issue with them. White leather couches flank the bar space on both sides. Sophistication is the first thing that comes to mind walking into the space. Open floor plan, good music, drinks and food. COPA is the third installation from the owners of OTR Live and the Tree House. It offers a grown and sexy vibe but caters to all ages with their offerings. The lounge has massive screens and a diverse clientele. I went for the soft opening and sat at the bar. The bartenders were attentive and everything went off without a hitch. I cannot say enough amazing things about my experience with this establishment . We attended a sip and paint last night and from beginning to end i was thoroughly impressed. From the beautiful decor To the neat and clean bathrooms..... the music was perfect, and the owner/host, showed so much love to everyone while still managing to keep all tables socially distanced. The food was also very good, and the kitchen staff gave excellent service. This was my first time going out in almost a year and i am so glad I chose this event to attend. This is an extremely nice venue but their customer service is a whole other story!!!!! If they want a dress code they should specify in their flyers before people show up dressed in acceptable attire but not on their "standards". The owner and promoter were so disrespectful to me and my group we paid for their biggest booth vip area and they didn't appreciate our business and treated our guests with such disrespect. Copa is an outstanding lounge, probably one of the best in Cincy. Was there last night with a large group and we had a blast. The place is large, comfortable and clean. Food and drink excellent and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend Copa and will be back often read more

I went to the happy hour and truly enjoyed myself, the live music was awesome, the atmosphere was relaxing and a band played as well. The staff took great care of me-I left my phone which had my ID & 3 cc- they immediately secured my phone until I returned. The appetizers were tasty and my wine was beyond average. The attention to detail was beyond customer service and it was a genuine feeling of care for the community, we will return. read more
