I found Actions name and thought I would give them a call thinking it would probably be another place that wouldn't be able to help, when I talked to the owner Mike I was so glad I called. Mike was able to come out immediately and get a new boiler on its way. He had his technicians out the next morning to replace our old boiler and put in a new one. Stan, who I can't be sure is even a licensed plumber because the number on the receipt is not his…read morelicense number, performed negligent work in several ways. 1. After setting our sink, he applied caulk, and said he would clean it up the following day when he came back to finish the plumbing portion of the job. He never did. We were left with a thick, uneven line of white caulk on our custom concrete countertops. 2. He failed to tighten the plumbing that he installed under the sink. While it appeared fine initially, the pressure from a sink full of dishwater erupted from the loose pipe. 3. He never disconnected the dishwasher hose from the garbage disposal. He removed the disposal from the cabinet to replace the pipes. He then installed the garbage disposal on the opposite side of the sink from where it had originally, which means he had to flip the entire disposal the opposite direction, all while the hose was still attached. He never checked to make sure that in all the moving and yanking of the hose, that it was still securely connected. The hose was not in fact connected securely after he pulled on it and that caused all the water from the dishwasher to dump behind our cabinet causing significant damage to our brand new floor. 4. He refused to properly reattach the water line to our refrigerator before leaving. The copper line had kinked and caused a slow leak, a leak which was not present before. He couldn't fix it because he didn't have the part, even though we live 2 minutes from Home Depot and 5 from Lowes. We told him we needed the ice maker for a birthday party we were hosting the next day, so as long as it was a slow leak, it could wait until after the party. There were 3 different adults present that all heard him say it was a slow leak. We put a towel and a bowl under it and observed it really was a slow leak. After he left, within an hour of him leaving, I used the sink to wash some dishes. Afterwards, we noticed a sudden puddle on the floor in front of the sink. We immediately called him to come back. He was rude, dismissive, would not listen to us that it was not from the line to the refridgerator, refused to come back, and changed his story completely saying that he told us the leak was a gushing leak (it wasn't and he never said that. Why on earth would anyone tell a plumber to just leave a gushing leak? That's ridiculous). When Stan came back after our floor was ruined he was extremely rude and refused to even look at the dishwasher hose where we knew one of the issues was. None of the water damage was near the line to the refrigerator. They didn't wear booties and left a trail of dirty boot prints through my house, they left the baby gate leading to the basement open while my baby was crawling around, and the guy with Stan reeked like weed. When we noticed the gusher under the sink, they did send 2 guys over to take a look at it. I sat and watched them find yet another leak near the garbage disposal. One of the guys told me it wasn't tightened. I was very appreciative of the thoroughness. After the fact though, the owners LIED, and said their guys said everything was tight. Thank goodness for video evidence. They also implied we were trying to get a kitchen remodel on their dime. We had just finished our remodel, hence the new sink. We've consulted other, licensed, plumbing professionals who all unequivocally said that they absolutely check the dishwasher hoses when performing work like this to avoid situations like this. They also pointed out that, even after the owner Clifford/Dwane, connected the dishwasher hose, it was done incorrectly and could cause us more problems (he didn't put a high loop in the hose). We had the water damage documented by a restoration company and ASAP had their own restoration company come to our house. Both companies had the same conclusions. The owners acted like they were going to make it right but strung us along with excuses for over a month. I believe they were hoping we would get frustrated and just forget about it. When they finally were out of excuses and had to respond they stated that they determined that they are not liable for the damages. It's laughable that they think that they are the authority on whether or not they are liable. If you use this company, which I strongly advise against, check to make sure every single person that enters your home is in fact licensed. The license number on the paperwork is very misleading as it is not the license number of the person performing the work. Also, be sure to get an itemized breakdown of the parts and labor before paying because they would not send us one when we requested one. Lastly, document everything, every phone call, every conversation, all work done, photos, videos, etc, for your own protection. If you've had issues like us, do your part to hold this business accountable, and file a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's Consumer Protection Office.

My tank was pretty old and they said that would be the cheapest fix but if the tank started to go bad then I would need a new one all together which was really expensive. A friend of mine recommended I call Force Heating and Cooling, they came out and quoted me a much more affordable rate for an entire new tank all together! Not only were they extremely friendly, their work for removing the old and installing the new was quick, clean and efficient! I was so happy with their work, I have used them since for my furnace and will only continue to use them for all of my HVAC needs! Highly recommended!

I spoke with several people during the scheduling process and all were extremely pleasant. Second, Patrick, the technician, showed up exactly as scheduled. He was extremely professional and gave me an estimate that I agreed to before he began the repair work. He successfully fixed a toilet, resolved a water pressure issue, and installed a new shower head. He also pointed out an issue that could require service in the future. I opted not to have it done immediately. I think the price was reasonable based upon work performed. I would recommend Mr Rooter and wouldn't hesitate to contact this business again.

Had a bad experience with this company. Toilet wasn't working so I scheduled them to come between 8…read moream and noon and they did not arrive until close to 1 pm. They then quoted us 750$ to use a camera and snake the main line. After not being able to get the camera or wire to work, they said they would take 250$ off the price, but I was still charged 700$ for nothing to be done. After charing me, they then send me the "quote" and invoice. The quote they sent us was for 1500$ and was to "replace the toilet and sink" which was never discussed. They then said to fix the problem they would have to take up the floor and it would be upwards of 7000$. They said they would send me a detailed quote/estimate for this project so we know exactly what needs done, and after emailing and texting/calling them for days I have gotten no response. Then we went downstairs (the bathroom is in the basement) and realized that they left a tarry substance that looked and smelled of feces all over our basement floor, bathroom floor, AND our washing machine. Do not use this company, they will do nothing and then scam you out of hundreds of dollars and leave your place worse off than when they came.

I had called Todd's company, because I had a bit of water back-up in my floored basement, near my washer. (Note that I have not even used that washer for probably six months. Todd poked around inside the floor drain in the basement, and said he found some tree roots. He showed me a few little roots and some dark mud. (The soil outside is more orange). He told me to call Alternative Plumbing. A man came out (I believe the owners of the Company), and went to the basement. He said he would need to install a temporary sump-pump(as I had to go out-of-town the following week for a few days and, they would have to chop out some of the nice porcelain floor tiles to get a "temporary pump in." He said the cost would be $4,600.00 and then said he needed half the money immediately. I wrote him a check (he had done nothing), expecting him to come out the next day (between 12:00 and 3:00 as promised). He was supposed to come out today between 12:00 and 3:00 to install a temporary sump-pump. I was supposed to get a call before he came out by someone named Gabby. No one called. So I called their office at around 1:30. She said someone would be out. I asked when? She said soon. I asked what the owners name was and she said Gab. I had heard nothing at 3:00, so I called the office again. Gabby (the woman) said that he (Gab) was eating his lunch. (Since I was waiting for him to come, I did not have my lunch). I was not happy as they had caused me to loose half of my day - for nothing. It was very disrespectful for them to waste my valuable time. Around 3:30 two different men cam out: Garry and Don. They are now looking at the situation. (Don said he wasn't sure why he was sent, as he said he was a faucet guy). Don said he would try to help me It is now 4:09. UPDATE: Getting Better! The two gentlemen who ended up coming out at 3:30 (Garry and Bob) were actually a big help in getting a temporary sump-pump put in, and working to drain water away from my basement. Bob said they had been given a different time-range, than I had been told. This pump is only temporary, but they explained things, got the temporary pump-in and were courteous. I commend Garry and Bob. (The permanent sump-pump will go in later. I am praying that - that work is done with care, and quality in my tiled basement). I raised my rating from a 1 to a 4 this evening, because they worked hard. i will UPDATE-AGAIN after the final work is done.
