Cooper's is not a friendly place. I bought a graduation gift for my daughter there back in early May of this year. My husband and I had a reasonable experience with one of the older, female staff who assisted us to choose a Trollbeads bracelet, clasp and beads. It was quite a pricey purchase, but I enjoyed my time and received good service.
I have returned several times, wanting to purchase more beads and bracelets, and have done so. However, the service I received on subsequent visits was lacking. I am not usually greeted; I did the initial greeting on one visit and was ignored. During that visit, I made purchases, but the clerks did not seem apologetic or concerned at all about their poor service. I waited 15 minutes to be approached, even though I was ready to choose and buy a bead immediately when I entered the store--again, no acknowledgement or apology about it. Other times, I have asked for specific Trollbeads products, and the staff were unfamiliar with those beads or could not find them (I eventually spotted them in the case. Had I not been persistent, I could have given up and walked out despite the fact that they had the bead). My most recent visit, yesterday, I walked through the entire store (1st and 2nd floors): I was never greeted, approached or even asked as I was leaving if anyone could assist me. I do not recommend shopping here and will not return. read more
