It was my first visit, and I was amazed at the thousands of varieties of stunningly colorful annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, and more. Rows and Rows of beautiful flowers everywhere. We ended up buying four flats of pretty pink and purple perennials @ $2.95/flat. The Raspberry Parfait Dianthus will really beautify our mailbox. They also have a store with all sorts of home decor and furnishings. Note that Coward Farms is open during the year in three distinct time periods - Spring from May 1st - July 3rd, Fall from Sept. 1st - Oct. 31st and Christmas -starting the Friday after Thanksgiving.

But as loaded as it was, it was very well organized and very neat, so shopping and browsing was a real pleasure. They consign an extensive range of Junior & Women's clothing, household Items, home décor, artwork, fine and costume jewelry, silver & gold handbags, shoes, scarves & accessories, small wood furniture, books, CD's, DVD's, gifts, and collectibles. They recently introduced men's clothing to their selection, though currently, their men's inventory is limited to around a dozen outerwear coats and a few colorful bicycle racing jerseys. I also saw a nice selection of soaps, cosmetics, personal care and pet care items. One cool thing I spotted among their collection of sealed party games, was one titled "Fact or Crap." Get home. An found some sort of chemical. Smelled like a paint thinner. Had spilled at some time very prior in one of the drawers (the area was dry but the smell was horrible) like I said they were closed an didn't open again till 4 days later. Let it sit outside. To air out. Due to storm coming. I brought inside. Woke up next morning. My house was filled with those fumes. This was after removing the drawer the first day and putting it in the basement. I sprayed with air freshener. So I put back outside. Air the house out (at 630am). Contacted them about 5 hours later. Where I was met with a "buy or get 3/4 different products..let it sit..clean..wrap..etc". After buying the dresser. I have to buy SEVERAL products to get that smell out. As well as having mouse dropppings and dried bugs inside. Yes. My fault. Should've had my husband check the drawers before bringing home. But still. No other solutions other than spend all this money and time to hopefully get the smell out (which is In the entire dresser..as the drawer was no longer in it an still was so strong) I have birds. I have a toddler. I can't have that smell in my home. So it was nice the manager or owner or whoever runs their socials offer no other solution. Other than me spending more money a time to fix this (the dresser was $50. But. Was on sale for 50 percent off. But still. I paid. I shouldn't have to buy more product to fix something that shouldn't have happened or they should've fixed) then. After telling them. This is unacceptable. I received no more responses online and then jsut sarcastic comments by their cashier. I understand it's. It their fault. I Deff learned my lesson to not buy a dresser from back of shed. But. I shouldn't have to spend more money on something like this. I even said. In messages. The fact he could sit an type out "me go a buy more product" a say that's acceptable or professional. Is astounding. I was lost for words. I only wanted some sort of option to fix this. As it's for a toddler. But. No. I have to go buy more chemicals. Cover in cat litter. Etc. yea. No. Wish I could put negative stars to be honest. At least respond back rather than ignore your customer.

Their website describes their inventory as "career and casual fashions and accessories, dozens of gowns and cocktail dresses." My wife is in the market for a specific dress for a Black and Gold banquet during the summer, so we stopped here today to check out their inventory racks, and there sure were a lot of them. Shoes, boots, dresses, tops, scarves, handbags, furs, hats, and a few home furnishings were everywhere, and they all looked to be in excellent condition. We didn't find what we were looking for, but we sure enjoyed checking out their stock.

I first…read morediscovered Lyric Hill Farm's goat milk soap at a farmers' market back in 2014 or 2015 -- after buying a few bars of their rosemary mint soap, I was absolutely hooked. Over the years I've purchased different scents (all made with natural herbs and milk from the farm's goats) and even bought mini versions as favors for my sister's baby shower in 2017... get it? Soap? Shower? Ha! Most recently, I've been smitten with the lavender goat milk powdered laundry detergent. I love the charming tin it came in and it's awesome that Nancy (the farm/biz owner) will also offer refill purchases so you don't have to buy a new tin each time. I'm on my third refill and just got a 64 oz bag so that'll last me a while. It's so nice to get the scent of fresh natural lavender when I'm washing clothes instead of a noseful of chemicals. It's the little things! The farm is a lovely place to visit and a really nice drive leading up to it. Granby has some scenic roads for sure - plus, stopping by for laundry detergent gave me an excuse to hit up Grassroots for some ice cream down the road!

There's an upstairs with a coffee table, a bean bag chair and two chairs (and lots of artists wares for sale on the wall). There are a few tables outside, so waiting until it's warm enough or ordering To-Go would be my suggestion. I shared pictures of the beautiful breakfast plates we received. The food was delicious! The sausage I asked for in my Eggs Benny was delicious! They were clearly homemade sausage that had a nice rosemary flavor. My husband's breakfast star was the chef made ham steak slices, and the rosemary sourdough toast. Yes, I recommend the food here! We were rather disappointed by the temperament of the person we assumed is the owner... when asked if they would please lower the music a little, because I'm healing from a traumatic brain injury (and it was blasting commercials and music; it wasn't a pleasant music track or album), said with an attitude "Sorry I can't control where the speakers are", and from that point seemed a lot less friendly. Her attitude didn't ruin the taste of the food, but this was a special outing (my first in 3 years since falling on black ice), near Goodspeed Opera House. This is a touristy area and people that run breakfast/brunch spots are usually friendly and eager to help with small requests. Often interactions with the restaurant staff adds greatly to the experience. Her sour grapes and refusal to help me feel comfortable by lowering it a smidge (I was already wearing noise cancelling ear buds, just so you understand how loud it was and that she didn't turn it down even a tiny bit), made breakfast less nice. We won't be returning ~ there are so many restaurants struggling to survive after Covid, we'd rather spend our time and money there.
