The back room is amazing, a big rambling garage of real antiques, books, tin wear, furniture, glassware, kitch, and a DOLLAR SECTION. I have found so many amazing things in this section. I've often picked up an item and said "we can EBay this for like $40" and mom will reply, "yes but I have 47 cases of glassware to sell so ummm, give someone a thrill" and indeed, people will get super excited and find a gem. Local goat soaps, local raw honey, and local folk art are great additions to the antiques. New items inspired by antiques: Whimsical signs, vintage inspired decor for every holiday (especially Christmas!) metal chickens, hooks, candles, country, wreaths, rugs, tablecloths, pillows, curtains, lamps, small furniture, notepads, kitchen lighting, soap dispensers, dishcloths... The sales floor is cut up into vendor stations absolutely crammed with assorted antiques, collectibles, jewelry, stained glass, lighting, musical instruments and LPs, toys, artwork, kitchenware, and tons of just plain cool stuff. Among the treasures we saw were an old tabletop pinball machine, a signed photo of Jerry Mathers from Leave it to Beaver, a Dukes of Hazzard lunchbox, itty bitty metal army men, cowboy boots, dolls, a ton of old Bobbsey Twin hardcover books, and a great Elvis Presley concert poster. Some furniture, books, and other stuff, but the main attractions are the dozens of unusual fixtures hanging from the ceiling. There are also floor lamps. One-of-a-kind stuff. But, again, the prices give you pause; a pair of Deco milk glass pendants were $895. Since moving to NYC, I long to make more frequent visits as even the city does not boast stores of this quality in terms of selection, value and expertise. I have also had several pieces repaired - including a Robert Lee Morris belt buckle - all of which are now in even better condition than they had been originally. Other reviewers have mentioned that the prices are either high or unfair and I strongly disagree. Clearly they do not understand the value or quality of this type of merchandise. Karen carefully selects, repairs and restores costume jewelry from many well-known jewelers as well as anonymous original pieces - the likes of which are often cheaply replicated and may be difficult for some to distinguish from the real deal. But as loaded as it was, it was very well organized and very neat, so shopping and browsing was a real pleasure. They consign an extensive range of Junior & Women's clothing, household Items, home décor, artwork, fine and costume jewelry, silver & gold handbags, shoes, scarves & accessories, small wood furniture, books, CD's, DVD's, gifts, and collectibles. They recently introduced men's clothing to their selection, though currently, their men's inventory is limited to around a dozen outerwear coats and a few colorful bicycle racing jerseys.
