Overall great dinner - good food, friendly service and good price point! They were packed when I came, good idea to call for a reservation. Calamari $15 - Big portion, tender pieces of squid rings that is lightly breaded and crispy on the outside. Prime Rib $30 - Tasty and juicy, comes with soup or salad, your choice of potato, side of horseradish cream sauce, and steamed veggies (carrots and broccoli). Baby back ribs (half rack) $20 - Comes with soup or salad, coleslaw and side of veggies. Ribs were fall-off-the-bone and delicious! They often have live music at night that play in the bar area. Lots of people were dancing near the band. .|\---/| | @_@ | ..\_^_/..2024

My husband and I just moved to Winfield and have been excited to try all the local restaurants. This weekend we had to try this place! The place is huge! They have a bar area where live music was happening. We definitely want to go back to experience that. Looked like everyone was having a great time! Our waiter, Andrew, was amazing. He was so nice, gave us great service and the food was really good. They also use tablets instead of paper menus which was cool to see! I ordered the blackened salmon which came with veggies and potato of choice. I went with the red potatoes. My husband ordered the fish fry with roasted red potatoes and a French onion soup. My vegetables did come a little cold, but the potatoes and fish were perfect temperature. The roasted red potatoes were absolutely delicious! I wouldn't say the blackened salmon blew me away, but it was very good. I'm used to blackened fish having a bit more seasoning on it which I feel would have really been great for this dish. But again, I was still satisfied with my meal. I felt the portion size and the price were very fair. My husband really enjoyed his fish. The tartar sauce they have here is very good. My husband also loved his French onion soup! A lot of places tend to make it on the sweeter side, and the French onion here had a very nice rich beef flavor which was delicious. It was also the perfect amount of cheese on it. The true star of our meal was the carrot cake!!! My goodness it was incredible!!!! It was so moist, had perfect sweetness, and the cream cheese frosting was one of the best!!! Can't wait to eat that again. We will definitely be back and excited to try more of the menu!

You can request seating closer to the bar if you want to enjoy the music while dining. Otherwise, the window seats are nice if you're looking for something quieter, restaurant lighting is dim. They're also able to modify some dishes to be gluten free. The Poached Pear Salad was light and refreshing, GF if you omit the goat cheese "crouton." Though if you like goat cheese, it looked delectable, perfectly cooked. It's more like a small fried goat cheese patty (almost like a mozzarella stick). The risotto was well cooked, but nothing particularly memorable in terms of flavor or components (bacon, mushroom, pesto, parmesan butter). The cassoulet was bursting with flavor. They offer both a small and larger portion. The small is really just a few bites of duck, so if you're looking for something more filling, definitely go with the larger size, which feels closer to a standard entrée. You can omit the panko breadcrumbs to make it gluten free. The guava sorbet was a refreshing way to end the meal, served as a trio of scoops and a cookie (not GF). Portion sizes overall are just okay, as you're unlikely to have leftovers. Unless you order apps, an entrée, and dessert, you may not leave completely full. Drink-wise, they have cocktails, beers, one cider on tap (GF), and wine options. The Mint Julep (bourbon based) was strong, simple, and surprisingly tasty. Service was fine overall, though one gentleman stood out for being especially attentive and friendly (wish we caught his name). Pricing didn't quite match the quality, but would be open to return in future to try out other dishes.

I chose this restaurant for my birthday dinner going on my actual birthday. Friends of ours joined us for dinner. I chose to sit in the lounge area next to the bar, which is a smaller space than the dining room, more intimate. I enjoyed that space. There's a couple couches in front of a fireplace perfect to enjoy an after dinner drink. My friends brought a couple bottles of wine so we didn't order any cocktails or wine from the restaurant. Their corkage fee is $25 a bottle. The four of us started with appetizers to share. The deviled eggs were creamy and delicious. The charcuterie board was good but could've had another cheese on the board to match the three meats on the board. It was served with perfectly grilled baguette. The special appetizer for the evening was morel mushrooms. I love morel mushrooms, but these lacked flavor and the portion was small. That was a miss for me. For dinner, my husband had the crispy chicken milanese, which he thoroughly enjoyed. The chicken was topped with arugula, capers, manchego cheese, tomatoes. I opted to have a Caesar salad and the Spanish octopus appetizer for my dinner. Our server Carmen, who was so engaging and provided good service, said that the octopus was outstanding. He was right! It was the best octopus I ever had. Tender and flavorful. The owner stopped by our table to see if we were enjoying everything. I told him I didn't like the octopus at all and the chef needed to make me another one pronto, but he didn't buy it. I tried! It was noted on our reservation that it was my birthday and my friends bought a bouquet of flowers so it was pretty obvious, but the restaurant did not acknowledge it with a little dessert at the end of the meal. That was disappointing since I chose this place specifically to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant should make note when people are there to celebrate, do a little something special to mark the occasion. All in all, I still love this restaurant it would recommend it.

There were air dried and roasted beets. Get the crunch from air dried beets and pistachios. Also had a Light sweet taste. Have option to add steak, salmon, or chicken. Choose the salmon and was cooked perfectly. Very flaky and moist. There is free parking on the streets and not far from the parking garage.

Last night I ordered the spicy 302 burger and my wife had a regular 302 burger. Neither of us could tell the difference. My issue is 302 has turned into a daycare for kids. Parents let their kids run amok now. It's great for us parents to have a place to relax and let the kids blow off some energy. But letting your kids run around a restaurant with zero control is too much. Within the first 5 min of us being there, one kid slammed his mom's wine glass down and shattered it, another kid was hanging in the door handle and would not move when I tried to utilize the door. 302 tried to post "patio rules" but some parents have zero respect for those. Such as on rule, 302 asks for no ball playing on the patio, for understandable reasons. Yet, one kid had a soccer ball, another a beach ball and another a softball. All were flying around the patio, smashing into people and things. Parents; teach your kids some common sense manners and respect for others.

I didn't care much for the mayonnaise they use, but the bacon was cooked as I requested (crispy) and there was a lot of it! I liked the fries that came with it. My husband really enjoyed the clam chowder that came with his meal as well as the fish and fries. The hush puppies were small and dry but those tend to be almost everywhere. His first round of fish was so filling he didn't even want or need a refill. The star of the show for me was the cheese quesadilla appetizer. Not only was it huge, but the pico de gallo inside made it very flavorful. It came with a very generous helping of sour cream and guacamole as well.
